I primarily bought this camera because I liked the lens cover which gives me hopefully some privacy if a software hack would permit the camera to be turned on without my consent. I used to turn my old camera around so that it would face the wall.

This camera is of high quality works great on my Windows 10 PC but I bought it for my elderly FIL on his Windows 11 PC. The camera itself is great but the method for getting to work is convoluted af. I didn't want to return if I could find a fix, which is what I did. Instruction are as follows: Plug in the webcam. Enable it in Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers. Open Windows Services. Press Win+R keys Type services.msc Press Enter or click Ok 4. Locate Windows Audio. 5. Double-click on Windows Audio to open its Properties. 6. Go to the Log On tab. 7. Select Local System account and click OK. Sound will not work on the computer with this particular setting, but we will be able at least to bring the "Windows Audio" service up, with Webcam/Mic connected. 8. Go back to Services windows. 9. Single-click on Windows Audio. 10. Click Restart on the left pane to restart the service. You should see the "Windows audio" service UP (little speaker in taskbar), and computer won't produce any sound (Again, this is normal, sound will come back after rollback later) 11. Open Windows Settings > System > Sound. 12. In the Input devices list, click the webcam mic and disable the Audio enhancement. 13. Then to re-enable Audio, open Windows Audio Properties. Refer to Steps 3, 4 and 5. 14. Select This Account. 15. Click Browse… and a Select User window will appear. 16. Select Advanced... and a new window will pop up. 17. Click Find Now. 18. Choose LOCAL SERVICE at the bottom pane and then click OK. 19. Once you're back to the Select User window and make sure LOCAL SERVICE is showing in the box field, click OK. 20. Back to the Log On tab, empty the Password and Confirm Password fields, then click OK. 21. A pop up will appear saying that the settings applied will take effect after restarting the service. Click OK. 22. To restart Windows Audio service to get the sounds back, follow Steps 3, 4, 9 and 10. This fixed it for me until they find a way to fix it with an update. Hence 2 stars. This is a very nice Webcam. It has a good quality build and looks nice. It is super easy to setup, just plug and play. The colors look great and you have the option to configure changes by downloading the Logitech Capture software. Very good webcam for video conferencing.

Bought for kid for remote school, replacing a build in laptop camera and it comes out so much better. I tried to buy a cheap cam on Amazon and it turns out to be bright and fuzzy. I then bought this one and turns out the camera and microphone are top notch.

Needed a camera at the last minute & this fit the bill. Seems to work well & better than doing zoom meetings on my tablet.

Fun camera works well and you can put it almost anywhere to use it. Good clear images from people I zoom with would recommend.

This is a great product. Thought i might have a difficult time setting it up, but it was so simple i was using it within 30 minutes. I highly recommend.

If you don't have the money to buy a dslr or anything fancy of that sort, this webcam is perfect for the job. Especially if you want to use it for streaming. My only problem about it is that you gotta change the filters on OBS every time.

Crisp picture in MS Teams meetings. Coworkers noticed right away with lighting and even said they could see my hairs now. Upgraded from a Logitech C270. Recommend this webcam.

Great design and use. Easy to install, stays in its place and no issues when connected to external hubs.

For its price it’s a pretty good camera it even has a mic but I don’t use it cause I already have a mic but if you don’t have one then it’s a plus

Best Buy shipped this webcam quickly. It was easy to install. I did have to update the software manually, but it was no big deal. Image is very sharp and clear, much better than on my old Logitech webcam that is being retired. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Besides it being wired, the webcam is fantastic. The quality is better than the built in webcam.

I have been using this webcam for professional and personal purposes and it really does it job! It provides a very good quality image and many setup options, also, the design is really stylish and sturdy, so it's made to work for a long time. No complains, recommended!

This Webcam has proven to be a great product for online learning and conferencing. I have not had any issues with it since I purchased it and I use it everyday. I'm extremely happy with it!

Excellent choice. Great resolution. Easy to use. Love the privacy shutter - beats the stick-on ones or sliders. Would love to see one with a clamp that can go on top or on the side of monitors, but until then, this is great.
