It does the job and has a 1/4" mount on the bottom of the stand so you can attach it to compatible mounts such as tripods or ring lights.

I got this one specifically for the cover of the Lense feature, to my pleasant surprise the clarity and mounting were far superior to my old ones.

However, it's still a solid choice. The light and viewing angle is great. It also has good compatibility and reliability, never gave me any issues.
