I think a decade, even. And man does it show why. It's plug n' play though you can get Logi Tune to adjust it a little, which I'd recommend people do. Pair that with good lighting and you've got a great webcam that could very well be a "for life" purchase. Rarely the autofocus will try to focus on something super up close for no reason? But a simple flip down of the privacy shutter for a few seconds will get it to stop doing that.

As most of my talks are recorded for the benefit of my students, I wanted a camera that was sharp, picked up sound well through the microphones and did not blur as I moved to make a point. The little privacy flap is a lovely addition. I can raise it when I am "camera ready"!

I previously purchased a no-name camera with essentially the same specs that wasn't recognized by my desktop. This camera outperforms it by leaps and bounds. Both the camera and audio work great for video conferences. I use Microsoft TEAMS and have not had any issues. Great for telecommuting!

Really upped my videoconference game with this

BestBuy had a great price. The webcam plugged and played in Windows without any drama, and it makes a huge difference in image quality. Suggest getting the free Logitech Capture app for Windows that has lots of tools to fine-tune the image.

Just plug it into a usb port and it works.
