Privacy shutter was not included in mine

The image quality is good and mic seems to work fine. I picked up the web cam and made it home 2 mins before a meeting and this was set up and working by the time the meeting started. I plugged it into my Windows 10 laptop and it simply worked. I didn't have to adjust my system settings...it automatically set itself up within 30 seconds or so. Logitech failed to include the privacy shutter. Makes me wonder if they repackaged their discontinued C920.

The resolution and response time of this camera is quite good. Less expensive cameras not only have poorer resolution but exhibit a disconcerting time lag between action and change in image. (I suspect that being external creates a bit of a delay.)

If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest that you use Logitech's Capture software. Here's a link: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024695174--Downloads-C920s-HD-Pro-Webcam. With Capture, you'll be able to customize your video recordings with transition effects, filters, text overlays, colored borders and ChromaKey settings. Capture also will allow you to adjust webcam settings, aspect ratio, recording resolution and more. Hope that you found this helpful and that all is going well. Best Regards, Richard from Logitech
