    Still new and already quit working

    I have only had this camera for approximately 4 months and it has already quit working. I was using the camera solely for when I attended meetings while working from home. I would like to know if I can return it and get a different camera. As I need one for work.

Here are some fast fixes you should try: Check the USB connection, try another port, check privacy settings from your computer are not blocking or interfering with webcam access, uninstall and reinstall Logitech Capture (software system).     Great at first...but watch out

    This camera was great to start. Really easy to setup and worked quickly and easily with my WFH setup. Fast forward to about 6 months in and now it will randomly just not connect to the dock I use or the laptop directly. Sometimes it detects it and sometimes it doesn't. I never know and frequently can't use it now. Beware.

    I returned the logitech camera. My camera on HP laptop worked better than this camera.

      Hey there BigO, I'm sorry to hear that your camera wasn't what you expected. If you still have the camera, I would recommend downloading our Capture software, which should allow you to manually edit and shift things like focus, zoom, pan, etc. to get a better picture quality, as there may be something wrong with the auto focus. Usually, manually adjusting the camera will help make the camera work properly again.

    Beware. Specifications on this site are wrong when they say compatible with "Mac OS X 10.10 or higher." Logitech now only offers software for this camera for OS 10.14 or higher. All older OS systems are now out of luck. I cannot evaluate the other aspects of this camera because it will not function in any way on the computer I have.

      Hello Vince, I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with your C920s webcam. If you navigate to our support site, you should be able to find all the software for the device listed in the download section for the C920s support page, including software for Mac OS 10.10, and every version after. However, software shouldn't be strictly necessary to get the camera to work, as it should be plug and play. If you're having issues getting the camera to work on your computer, I would recommend contacting us via our support site for direct assistance as well as troubleshooting tips and tricks.

    Terrible support. Works with neither Mac or Window

    It keeps going offline. Thought it was a mac issue, but no even on Windows you have to keep rebooting the machine for it to come online. I am not a novice user who does not know how to trouble shoot, tried all forums no solution works. Was lazy in retuning and now even past the returning window so stuck with a worthless piece of junk

    Very disappointed, I explained what type desk top I had and the clerk assured me this set up would work, my computer's drivers will not support this system.

    Won't work with Windows 8 on my computer

    My computer, running windows 8, will not recognize the camera. I have a $20 piece of crap webcam that will work on my PC but not this. Is it the camera or my computer? Hard to review the webcam if it won't work.

    Best Buy delivered it quickly and set up was very easy. But the item was overpriced. Image quality is poor and product isn’t worth the money. Since it was too difficult to return, I kept it. This item received top rating my the New York Times, I can only imagine what lesser products are like.

    Video never worked and was unable to set up with my computer. The audio worked fine but all of my troubleshooting was unsuccessful with the video issue.

    Logitech's "Right Sound" function is a disaster!

    Audio is terrible! It works for the spoken word, but terribly distorts musical instruments because of Logitech's "RightSound" software. Logitech used to provide an on/off switch for "RightSound" and "RightLight," but no more. These two settings are ON continuously.

    The Logitech - C920S Pro HD Webcam is a solid solution for good-quality webcam needs. Simple plug-n-play setup, stereo sound, flexible options for positioning on monitor or tripod, and basic Camera Settings software with a good set of features all make this a great package for a good price. The added privacy shield, which enables you to block out the lens, is a small, but greatly appreciated, addition. As a Mac user, I was disappointed that the recording software offered by Logitech is only for Windows. The Camera Settings software, though, works great on my computer and I found the standard Quicktime software (included with my Mac) enabled me to record with little difficulty. The Logitech - C920S Pro HD Webcam is one of those welcome tech offerings that simply does it's job well.

    This Logitech C920s Pro webcam is crazy sharp. I’m used to laptop webcams and their fuzzy resolution. This webcam’s sharpness was a very pleasant surprise The included privacy cover was a nice little addition. That being said, I had thought it was something integrated into the camera itself from the product description. It’s not. Instead, it’s a separate little plastic clip that snaps into place in front of the camera. Not a big deal, but I thought it worth noting. The camera itself has a respectable amount of heft to it. This is not some cheap, hollow plastic thing. Installation was a breeze. I plugged it in . . . the end. No software or drivers needed to install. I just plugged it into my desktop, and it immediately began working using Windows 10’s camera app. Cord length is respectable. I had no problems positioning the camera on my desk while plugging it into my computer tower on the floor. The cable had plenty of slack, and I was able to move the camera around fairly easily. The camera has a variety of different positioning options. It can sit on its own base and rest on your desk, it has a tripod mounting hole on the base if you want to attach it to a tripod, and it can rest on top of your monitor by unfolding the base. This last one didn’t work too well for me as my monitor was too thin to properly support the camera at any usable angle. I did manage to get it balanced just right once, but I thought it was a mite too precarious at that angle. I found the camera worked best for me when positioned on my desk and resting on its base. The microphone quality was excellent. The person on the other end of my web chat had no difficulty understanding me whatsoever. I was also able to use the microphone on the camera with Cortana to issue voice commands to my desktop. It should be noted that this camera is NOT Windows Hello compatible. That technology requires infrared sensors and other bells and whistles that this camera is not equipped with. All in all, I’m very impressed by this little camera. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who makes frequent video calls.

    The FPS on the camera is absolutely abysmal on MacOS. I'm on a 2019 16" Macbook Pro with the most recent OS and this thing is worse than cheap cameras on Amazon. The LogiCapture software does not help. Not at all worth the price on a Mac.
