This add-on consistently generates a clear, well-lighted image. Previously, I received complaints when participating in a panel discussion. I wish I had purchased it sooner. I had to purchase it for online school proctored exams and it works great. I like that I can cover the camera while not in use with the shutter.

Good webcam with mic and privacy blocker

The mic seems to work clearly and caverns out any echo or background noise pretty well. Easily controllable and compatible with everything I've tested so far.

This selection gave me a clear resolution, was easy to set up, on my external screen, and shows a longer view of the room (every time my dog walks in on video, people see—fine for me, and happy co-workers when seeing dogs).
