The picture quality is impressive, and it does make for a better experience. I also love having the camera cover built-in. I use this every day for Zoom and Teams calls for work. If you are on video calls, I would recommend this camera. It's a reasonable price and offers excellent picture quality and features. Also, Logitech always makes quality products, and this camera feels much more premium than its price suggests.

I bought 3 to use for hybrid business meetings. They were very easy to setup and user friendly. Very impressed with the overall quality and functionality!! Crisp HD video, auto focus, seemless switching between devices. Also the boot in microphone is amazing! It pics up clear audio in a medium sized room full of people! Much better than other webcams i have spent twice as much on, highly recommend!!!

The camera quality is sharp and the privacy shade is nice too when you don't feel like unplugging it. The mount stays in place as well and you'll never lose focus on yourself either.

Audio on the microphone is about the same as the Macs but since you are about to move it around or place on a tripod, you have much more flexibility. Before you buy, be aware that this is overpriced currently at this retailer (for unknown reasons...). You can match it with practically any other retailer that has it listed at the correct MSRP.

You Don't Need the Step Up

Obviously, this webcam is going to be a step up from whatever your laptop has, but it's actually enough of an upgrade that I don't see any reason to get the step up. Logitech's 922x and Brio have some perks, but if you don't ABSOLUTELY need 60fps or 4K, you'll be more than happy with this product.

Super easy to setup and gives really good 1080p camera quality in decent lighting. Struggles a bit in low lighting but unless you’re streaming in the dark without lights it should be much of a hassle.

Best in class, but not best class

The autofocus is nice and helps with image quality, but it fails badly if I slide too far away. I use a monitor mount with the camera on top, so I don't have much range before the camera loses track. This may be the best camera you can get for casual use, but if you want to do any serious work, you should go for the next tier up.
