The privacy screen is a good addition to the webcam. Plug and play worked as expected.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This "upgrade" to the standard C920 doesn't seem to specifically improve the performance or quality, but it is still a great webcam, and the included privacy cover is well designed to make it a part of the device rather than just an add-on. I'd recommend this version over the other 1080 webcam versions, until you are ready to step up to a high resolution. Also, s/w is pretty useless for anyone other than the basic consumer. TLDR; buy this one rather than the more expensive 1080p webcam options.

Video quality is good not the best but good, you can also use it to talk to friends etc but the audio quality is not good in my opinion but it can come in handy if your mic stops working

I was looking for something with a good image that was more affordable, for use in a temporary second office. I really like this Logitech C920S... the image is very good and the sound pickup is excellent. It seems to have a more stable and usable clip for sitting on top of the monitor than other cameras I've had. I'd purchase the same camera again.
