Great webcam, easy for elderly to set up and use

I already own another Logitech webcam but needed to purchase one, different model number, more updated version for my parents so they could use for video Dr. appointments and to finally see friends and family. I had this one sent to their home and I talked them through the set up, which was easy even for technology challenged individuals. The camera was very clear and they feel comfortable using it. They also like the fact that it has the cover on it, as they were very concerned about their privacy. I am always happy with Logitech brand products so it is my go to brand and this did not disappoint.

The Bad: the auto focus would not stop autofocusing... Everytime I moved, it would autofocus. It was very distracting, to the point that I could concentrate on my meeting. I had no choice but to return it.

Whenever I had a Zoom meeting, I had to open my laptop to use the laptop's camera, effectively losing one of my screens (or at least making it more challenging and disconnected to utilize the second screen.) It got annoying to open and close my laptop throughout the day going in and out of meetings. Attaching the external webcam to the top of my monitor solved the problem. This model does an excellent job, crystal clear video and audio, attaches easily, securely and perfectly to my monitor. Easy to move about as well.

Fantastic camera and has lasted forever

The camera still works great. However, I was traveling and realized I needed a webcam for work while away and didn't have it with me. So I picked up a replacement and it works just as well as the previous one. And now I have one with the glass on front. Highly recommended and very inexpensive. It's not 4k but who wants that much detail on a Teams or Zoom call? The one I had from before, is at least 10 years old and still working.

Gets the job done

I use this mainly for work meetings. Have not used it for streaming but I'm sure it works fine. Nice that it also comes with a privacy cover. Blue light is great to confirm that the camera is on. Cable should be long enough for most users. Small and easily portable.
