Purchased this in order to have something that is stand alone and done have to keep taking down the DSLR. The HD quality is great and the auto focus, lowlight features are exactly what I needed to stream. Plug and play you’re good to go. You can also download their software for free that will help with recoding.

This camera is great with my Video conferencing apps but I noticed some picture quality issues. I did some research and learned that in order to use this camera to its fullest potential you need to download the software from logitech. This software will allow you to tweak the camera settings so as to show the perfect picture for the environment you are in.

I picked this webcam up for my wife who is taking online courses for her graduate degree. This replaced a lower end model that could not focus clearly on her drivers license for proctored exams. The clarity of this webcam is exactly as it should be and the manual focus allows for adjustment when necessary. The built in cover provides assured privacy when not in use.

I have bought enough "gear" to get to a point where I stick with certain "brands" for certain areas of business. And anything Logitech is on that list, since my other desktop has a Logitech webcam, and now a newer desktop. I've only used it twice thus far, but works as it was expected. I also buy Logitech keyboards and mouse units as well.
