    Logitech Capture Software doesn't support M1 macs

    Eight months after buying this webcam, Logitech Capture software still doesn't support M1 macs. The software was part of the reason we bought the webcam, and for it not to support M1 macs many months after they were introduced shows logitechs lack of customer support/care. The camera does work with quicktime, and some 3rd party software, but you shouldn't have to pay extra when software is part of the package. SHAME ON LOGITECH SELLING A WEBCAM W/SOFTWARE BUT THE SOFTWARE DOESN'T WORK!

      Hello. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and concerns with the C920S and Capture. I'm sorry that Capture does not have M1 compatibility at this time. We are working on compatibility, but until then we have found that Streamlabs OBS can give you a lot of the same features as Capture. It is also a free download if you search for it.

    This camera can only be used in Administrative Mode on a PC. Since I personally prefer to be in that mode as little as possible, it's useless to me. I wish I had known this about it before I had purchased it, but lesson learned.

      Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write this review of the C920S webcam at Best Buy. I'm sorry you're experiencing issues with the webcam, but I don't entirely understand what the issue is. I am currently using the exact same webcam and not in Admin mode on my work PC. I have never heard of this issue before of needing to be in Admin mode for the webcam to work. It should just be plug and play- no software necessary (although the Logitech Capture software adds a lot of extra functionality and adjustment). Please contact our technical support for more troubleshooting.

    This camera keeps losing focus in the middle of zoom meetings. If I click off the camera and turn it back on it will regain focus but that is a major inconvenience when conducting or participating in a meeting. no

      Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with the auto focus of your C920S webcam. If you didn't know, you can download our Logitech Capture Software to manually adjust the focus of the camera and tweak with how the auto focus works to better utilize the camera. I would recommend starting there and seeing if that helps you out at all!

    Nice camera with nice features. Needed a new one to replace the lower quality built in one in the laptop.

    I did not care for this webcam. My old laptop picture was better. The picture seemed to have a greenish tint. Also the privacy cover was missing.

    Broke within a month. I purchased this camera based on vey good reviews and because I was hoping that it's light correction would do the trick for my remote work location that tends to have poor lighting for video reception. This camera did not meet any of those standards. It stopped working within a month of purchasing it and it the image was no better than my ten year old hp. Very disappointed and very much dislike the hassle of having to return an item that should just work!

      Hi Sorry to see you were unsatisfied with the C920S Webcam. Sometimes the webcam settings can be adjusted in the app you're trying to use it with. Otherwise, it could be the webcam itself is malfunctioning on you in which case Logitech does offer a 1 year limited warranty. Hope that helps.

    Horrible Product; Horrible Customer Support

    I bought one of these and the microphone and speaker in my computer stopped working. BestBuy replaced it and I have the same problem with this one. Customer Support from Logitech is non-existent; the Bot that they have is IMPOSSIBLE to work with. Never buy anything from Logitech again.

    Terrible camera. Very poor focus. Constantly blurs. Not fit for purpose. I would return it but I’m a week or two late for the return window. Logitech should be embarrassed.

    Doesn't work with Mac M1 Big Sur

    Constant software issues on Mac. Logitech still sells this camera but has dropped software support for it on apple computers. Doesn't make sense to me. No M1 support in Mac OS 11 (Big Sur). It was working before the Big Sur update, but when I updated my laptop to Big Sur it stopped working. Went to Logitech's website, and they said they were no longer supporting a web cam that they currently sell new for non Intel based Mac's (almost all new apple computers for the past couple years). I'm done with Logitech products. This is a consistent issue with them.

    The little screw part at the bottom to mount the camera pops out so the camera doesn’t always stay in place or pops off completely

    I buy this webcam to see if it will work on my Chromebook like it's advertised. It doesn't support it at all. You need a Mac or Windows laptop for it to work.

    The part that screws into the tripod was broken. Customer service wouldn’t exchange. I hate this product and Best Buy lol. I’m a card member and haven’t ever asked for an exchange before so the fact they wouldn’t help me out was stupid.
