Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.* Recording done using mic from this webcam is not as good recording from native mic. * There is no tight clip that holds it on the monitor or laptop ledge; very easily gets knocked off. * No documentation to say whether need to download a driver. It seems not needed but still they should have explained that. * No explanation of how to get your laptop to use the mic from this device rather than the native mic. * No explanation that the camera is not a substitute for the native camera of the laptop but rather this camera only gets used when you are using a program that includes taking a video, such as Skype. Even for that, no explanation what to do to get Skype to use this camera. * Briefly tried with Skype; seemed to work ok. The device maker should not assume that the user is knowledgeable in installing devices; they should provide some info.

The resolution and response time of this camera is quite good. Less expensive cameras not only have poorer resolution but exhibit a disconcerting time lag between action and change in image. (I suspect that being external creates a bit of a delay.)

If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest that you use Logitech's Capture software. Here's a link: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024695174--Downloads-C920s-HD-Pro-Webcam. With Capture, you'll be able to customize your video recordings with transition effects, filters, text overlays, colored borders and ChromaKey settings. Has a very sleek design, the video has great quality. I don't stream, but I use it for discord video and Skype calls, and there is zero lag and the audio from the calls sound excellent. Friends have also told me my audio coming through sounds great. Highly recommend!

Was a bit difficult to set up at first but once it got started the camera has a wide angle and worked flawlessly. Almost works too good, I use it for zoom interviews and meeting and have zero complaints on the other endas well. I wish this product was a little cheaper but it was worth it to go with the upgraded model.

The first, from another vendor, can't fit on a tripod and the microphone is so bad that I had to buy a seperate one. This, on the other hand, fits my tripod and the microphone is fine. On top of that, the video quality seems to be superior. I would have saved money, frustration and time if I had purchased this first.

I have a window slightly behind me and off to one side, and the webcam seems exceptionally prone to picking up that backlight and washing me out. I really have to close the blinds almost 100% to keep that from happening. But other than the backlighting issue, it has a good picture. You can also use the Logitech G-hub software to configure a few things about the cam which other apps seem to respect. G-hub is kind of 'meh' for me, kinda confusing, but it can be helpful.
