Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't often use a webcam but since my laptop's microphone isn't good and the built in camera doesn't fit my need since my laptop is off to the side of my main monitor, I bought this and it's a better camera and the microphone works great. Very simple and easy to setup and use. Just plug it in and select it as your camera. It's also smaller than it might seem based on the pictures so that's another plus.

Setup was very easy and quick. Works with several conferencing programs. It does better in a room with low sunlight or maybe with the sunlight behind it. this is the only reason for the 4 rating. I am keeping and using this camera because it is a good one

My home office setup included twin 24" monitors, a PC soundbar, and an electric adjustable desk. Check, check and check-aroo! But one thing was missing...a quality webcam! Found this one, in stock and available for pickup at my local store...ordered it during a 11am-noon meeting and was able to go pick it up during my lunch hour. Setup was a breeze and I used it that very same day for an interview in the afternoon. My colleagues at work are amazed at the sharpness of the picture and the built in mic delivers clear vocals and has become my default microphone for calls...no more headset for me! Really could not be happier with this purchase and I have used it daily since my purchase 2 months ago.

The best webcam for cheap

It also has a microphone built into it so no need to purchase a mic. The blue light is also a nice touch to let you know when you camera is streaming or not instead of manually sliding a cover.

Logitech C920S - Easy Setup and High Quality Video

Some co-workers noted the need to install software with older model in order to enable the mic which is not active by default for some reason. C920S worked out of the box w/no software needed on Dell Latitude 5400 laptop running Windows 10. I connected to the Dell dock front USB port and was able to configure in Teams. Webcam can sit on top of monitor as advertised and the privacy shutter is a plus. Video and mic audio is an improvement over built-in cam/mic on laptop. To be clear, this webcam has a mic but speaker is either your pc/laptop or other device connected to your system. So far so good and will recommend for those in a Corporate setting where 3rd party software is not always allowed. Price just dropped to $59, a great value ...

One feature I like the most is the lens cover. Not sure why I'm paranoid about the lens not be covered but it gives me peace of mind that I can cover the lens without using tape and paper. Overall great camera

I clipped on top of my tv monitor and it rests just fine. The adjustment is a little shaky, have to be very careful with the clip adjuster. Sound and picture quality are good for price paid.
