For some added benefits, I highly suggest that you use Logitech's Capture software. Capture allows you to customize your video recordings with transition effects, filters, text overlays, colored borders and ChromaKey settings. Also, Capture allows you to adjust your webcam settings, aspect ratio, recording resolution and more. Capture saves all your settings in your user profile. It has issues with video. This computer works well with all other webcams I've used. Have spent hours working with Logitech and have gotten no where. It does do "pictures", but for video conferencing on a Win7 machine (HP) - it leaves something to be desired.

To be fair, I didn't have time to read any troubleshooting help to adjust it.

The newer 1080p cameras are more expensive, but don't necessarily have better specs. Make sure to download the camera settings app to take advantage of all the features.

The only issue I have is the picture quality. It is much worse than if I use the camera on my iPhone or IPad. I have attempted to adjust the picture quality but it is below average, especially in low light. Otherwise, a solid product

Ruined by failed focus mechanism
