    This webcam has great reviews but my experience was not great. The image quality was less than my Logitech C270. It would not keep focus, even when I put it in manual mode - via the Logitech camera settings app. No real documentation, most of what I found was via web searches. It was a great disappointment... Returned the item.

    Fine but not as good as Mac built-ins

    I expected/hoped for better video quality but this was on the grainy side compared to my built-in (Mac) camera. I will say though that lighting makes a huge difference and if I'd had better lighting, maybe I would've had a better experience with it.

      Please be informed that it is recommended to increase the lighting if you have a fuzzy, grainy, or noisy image. Cameras need light to produce great images. Improving the lighting conditions can considerably improve the image quality. This will also improve on the blur or fuzziness seen during quick movements.     Good camera. Back lighting is more important with this model than other cameras I have used in the past.

    Couldn't get it to work. Had to go back to old webcam. Probably just a matter of needing to adjust a setting or two but with no customer service available, it was a waste of my money. If anyone is actually reading this, you could help me by figuring it out.

    The microphone would regularly start distorting sound, and the other person would not be able to hear. You also have to navigate the settings to make sure the camera lighting is good - and that took awhile for me to figure out how to do.

Please make sure the webcam is connected directly to the computer and not to a hub, extender, switch, adapters or something similar. Also, try different software. For example, Windows Camera app and check if that makes any difference. If the issue persists, reach out to Logi Support and our dedicated team will find a solution.

    Wont show up on Logitech capture

    Is NOT recognized by logi capture app. It is the main reason I bought it. Shows up on other apps and camera app. Even shows up on the logitech basic settings app. Just can't get it to show up on Logitech capture app. I've tried everything I could find on web with no luck. Its like they forgot to write this "s" model into the program as a recognized camera.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with connecting the webcam to the software. By any chance, are you on an M1 Mac? We are having some issues with the new Apple M1 chips and it is causing some unforseen technical problems, and our team is working on compatibility.     The webcam took a very wide angle view - which would not be bad except that it placed me too far away. Using the additional software allowed it to better zoom in --- but that software does not play well with Microsoft Teams, especially when I never know when I will get a Teams call. The only way I've found it to work OK is to leave the additional software open all the time.

      Hi Terry, thank you for your feedback! You are correct. To use the webcams advanced features, you will need to use and leave Logitech Capture software up and running. Select "Logitech Capture" instead of "C920s Webcam" as your video source for Microsoft Teams. You can also try re-positioning the camera if needed.     Logi Capture Software crashes on Mac

    This rating is due to the fact that I wanted to use Logi Capture in conjunction with the webcam. The webcam was recognized by my Mac just fine. However, when I installed Logi Capture I found that it would crash when launched. I was never able to get Logi Capture to run. I filed a ticket with LogiTech support but so far none of their ideas have worked: - install as a different user on the computer - clear NVRAM/PRAM then install - boot in safe mode then install I've returned the webcam and will work with LogiTech support a bit more. If we can fix this I'll give it another chance, if the software won't boot, I'll look for a different webcam to purchase.

      Hi, we're sorry to see you're having some software related issues with using your C920S webcam with Logitech Capture. For the Mac, this software is still in a beta which is why it crashes. The webcam itself can be used with other apps for recording like Streamlabs OBS for example. But hopefully Tech support can find a solution for you.

    The camera and my computer (a 5-yo Lenovo operating on Windows 10) simply could not communicate. I tried for hours to set it up for Zoom meetings, and it just would not happen. Also, I couldn't locate any software that would have allowed me to change the settings, so I was stuck with default settings. The puny info that is send with the camera is absolutely no help at all. THEN, when I went to return it, Best Buy wouldn't let me return it via online shipping label, in spite of what their sales page says. I had to drive half an hour and wait in line to get a refund. Not happy.

      Hi MaryAnn, sorry to see you're having some software related issues with your C920s webcam. The webcams are designed to be plug and play but sometimes you have to tell the app you're using the webcam with (Zoom in your case), to switch from the default camera to the webcam. Hopefully that helps clear some confusion.

    This is an amazing camera and has a wonderful noise canceling mic. I use it for Teams meetings daily. I have been thrilled with the results.
