Posted .Hello Rahul! Sorry to hear the C920S Pro 1080p Webcam with Privacy shutter did not meet your expectations. It is a great camera used by many Content Creators and people working from home these days. offering a resolution up to 1080p at 30fps. Of course, we also have other models with an even superior video quality depending on your needs, like the StreamCam and 4K Pro webcams, if that's something that would better fit your needs. - Mathieu from Logitech

Posted .Hello Matt,
Thank you for choosing Logitech, and for taking the time to review the C920s webcam. I am sorry that you experienced issues with your webcam; I would like to help.
-Please check that Windows is up to date, also please check your “Device manager” for driver updates. In the “Device Manager” please check the pull-down menu under “Imaging Devices”, please right click on the “c920s” option and check for driver updates. If there are updates please run them, if you see “The best drivers for your device are already installed” please select “search for updated drivers on Windows update”. On the “Windows Update” screen, you may see a “You’re up-to-date”, message (you may see an option to “view optional updates”. If you see this option, please select “view optional updates”, where you will find the optional updates in a pull-down menu. If you do not see this option, please select “check for updates”. This likely will reveal the “view optional updates” option. This is based on what I experienced after a recent system update, and these steps resolved the issue that I had experienced. This should improve your experience, but I also recommend utilizing the Logitech software for custom adjustments.
-This webcam is supported with the Logitech “Capture” and “G-Hub” programs. If you use “Capture”, you will want to set adjustments in “Capture” and select the webcam input as “Capture”. “G-Hub” also supports this webcam, and you can set customizations to specific apps if you would like. Please keep in mind that a webcam can be the input device for one program at a time. If you use “G-Hub” to make adjustments and launch a video conferencing program, there will be a message that the webcam is in use. In this case you would want to close G-Hub, select the webcam as the input device in the Application and if you would like to make more adjustments, you would then launch “G Hub”. When the App has video displayed, Video adjustments can be done in G-Hub, but the webcam will not be displayed in G-Hub as the App will be utilizing the video. This would be the case with what you may experience with some popular video conferencing solutions, and operating systems at this time. I am not sure of the specific details of your setup, but this should be consistent to what you are experiencing. Future updates to operating systems and programs may create a different experience. I have attached a link to the support page for the c920s webcam where you can find software downloads for the Logitech “G-Hub”, Logitech “Capture” programs, as well as further support. I hope you enjoy your c920s webcam.
Best regards,
John at Logitech

A Must Have
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup was automatic but it required rebooting of my laptop and PC. Both running Windows 10. No software needed. The first thing I noticed was that it has a tripod mount, which is great if you need to record indoor videos, not just use it for video calls. The second thing was that it includes a lens cover, which is not only good to protect the lens but a must have to protect your privacy. You never know when you will be hacked or even broadcast yourself unwillingly. That cover gives me some peace of mind. It is good to notice that the resolution is lower than the cameras built into some top smartphones with 4K resolution but perfectly acceptable for a webcam and adequate for most in-door YouTube recordings. Actually, it is the best webcam I have ever had on my laptop and PC, and for the Web, there is little to no advantage in using a camera with higher resolution than this. I would highly recommend it for its good 1080p video quality, 30fps and great picture even in low lighting environments and default settings in all my tests. I also like that it supports 1080p in widescreen. I was willing to give it a perfect five-star rating, but then I tested the microphone. I expected it to work poorly because my laptop was on the coffee table and I was on the couch, about 10 feet away. The person could hear me perfectly well. I decided to move to over 30 feet and I could still be heard clearly. Since there is nothing above five stars, I did not change my mind. The person at the other end kept saying how clear and smooth the image was with no artifacts even when I moved my arms back and forth very quickly. Very few webcams can do that at any price level. Totally worth it.

Easy to use, great quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This webcam is excellent! It is simple to use and seemlessly integrates with applicaitons (streaming, video chatting, etc.) The video quality from this camera is great, even in low light situations. The autofocus and light correction do a wonderful job in near real-time and the cover provides a level of reassurance. The grip/ stand also provides a variety of ways that the camera can be configured. I would reccomend this product.

Great for streamers
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the longest time I lived without a webcam on my gaming PC. It just wasn't something that I thought about, since I mostly only do video chats on my phone, or on the living room tv that does have a webcam. But with the popularity of video game streaming, which has expanded into artist streaming and IRL streaming, I figured now was as good a time as any to get eyes on me. Enter the Logitech Pro HD webcam. I really like the clip design that allows you to attach to any size monitor, regardless of thickness. It even expands out to lie flat for use with old school CRT's if retro gaming with original consoles is your thing. On top of that, there are threads to allow you to attach this webcam to a tripod, which is an amazing addition. I'm planning on doing time-lapse videos of my embroidery machine, and have previously resorted to using a makeshift rig with my tiny action-cam, but this mountable webcam makes things much easier. The picture quality on this camera is great at 1080p. Whether or not your video chat partner sees the same high quality video that you are transmitting, however, is dependent on your upload speeds and your partner's download speeds. The dual built-in microphones pick up sound fairly well, though I ended up bypassing it in favor of using the mic on my wireless headset. The software for the webcam was simple enough to install and provides basic features.

Great webcam - For the price I want Windows Hello
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech makes great webcams. This one is exceptional as it is very broadcast-oriented, with array microphones and the ability to capture Full-HD (1920x1080) footage with good optical quality and as a result, sits in their 900-series/professional lineup. For the offer price of this webcam, I guess I just expect more. There's only one Logitech camera that bests this as I understand the product line - The BRIO 4K is their penultimate capture device - But its a brilliant 4K professional streaming and conferencing cam that, besides the 4K differentiator and some cute unique tools that leverage its depth-sensing abilities, is remarkable similar to this offering. I'd love to see Logi bring depth-sensing/IR camera abilities down to the 900 series HD webcams and meet somewhere in the middle pricewise - To be honest, the MSRP of this device would assume that its does all of that. Its also got a good industrial design, and a thoughtfully included shutter to ensure that people aren't snooping on your webcam (Russian Hackers) or you aren't exposing your pajamas to your work colleagues on morning calls where you accidentally activate video. My conly complaint about this shutter is that its a cheap plastic piece that's shoved into the product packaging almost hiding between cardboard and its likely to get thrown away by those not looking for it. All in all a good, yet pricey webcam for those looking for HD quality for Twitch streaming, Skype/Teams/Slack calls, and other uses. It doesn't get close to the overall experience of the BRIO but I hope Logitech realizes that there's room for more than one fully-featured cam in their lineup, or maybe they need to redefine their numbering and ranges and what they call "Pro"...

Excellent webcam
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With crisp images, excellent sound, and solid build quality, this is an excellent webcam. Right out of the box, the build quality is obvious. The hinges move easily, the lens is glass (hard to scratch), and the entire device is well thought out. Attaching it to my monitor or laptops was simple, as the hinged case grips even very thin monitors, allowing for multiple viewing angles. Setup is a breeze. I plugged it into my USB port, Windows found the device, installed it, and Logitech located and suggested the correct software to manage it. Once installed, the camera performed as advertised; crisp, high-definition images, and clear sound from the dual microphones. The Logitech software allows you to add a variety of effects to the image, if you want to use it to take snapshots. One quibble – the privacy screen is a separate piece that you mist locate in the box (be careful – it’s easy to miss) and attach. Once attached, it fits solidly in place, but it would be nice if it were pre-installed in a set location. Overall, the Logitech Pro HD is an outstanding camera for all your webcam needs.

Truly A 'Pro' Webcam!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This “useful” Logitech product arrived right on time as I am an educator, who does on-line teaching! The built-in web cams (various laptops) that I was using were very grainy and distorted with some lag. Fast forward, this wonderful product by Logitech brings just the opposite by giving a clear concise picture without any lag time. Out of the box, the product is easy to assemble only requiring downloading of the software, which integrates with my PC desktop well. The built-in microphone produces great audio. Additionally, I appreciate that it is small and portable as I will use it on a combo of my laptops and desktops! In summary, everything about this webcam points to win-win-win! As always, great job Logitech on yet another great product!

High quality image and easy to use...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LogiTech HD Pro Webcam C920s This webcam seems to cover all the bases for both automatic and manual adjustment of image and audio performance. The webcam quickly adjusts itself to light and sound levels if left on "automatic" but can be tweaked to your satisfaction by manually changing image options if desired. Logitech generally leads the way in webcam technology and performance, and as a moderately priced and very portable unit, this webcam will not disappoint. Image adjustments include aspect ratio and resolution of the camera image all the way from 360x360 (1:1) for a tight head shot to 720p 1920x1080 (16:9) for full view of a small group conference. The quality of each aspect ratio can also be quickly changed to get full 720p resolution even at the 1:1 aspect ratio. Video smoothness can be adjusted for FPS at 24/25/30, and 50hz and 60hz anti-flicker settings depending on your light source. There are also automatic or manual settings for focus, white-correction, chroma as well as other image enhancements. Running the webcam at the highest resolution and fps gave the occasional warning message that the computer might not be able to provide a smooth video at the highest settings, but only an occasional stutter or pixellation running on i5 with plenty of RAM. The smoothness seems to be affected by how many programs are running in the background, as with any webcam. There is a camera "shutter" to close for those that are concerned about intrusion issues, and a standard-size threaded mount on the bottom to put the camera on a tripod if needed. A very nice feature included in the Logitech Capture software is the ability to quickly switch on the "picture in picture" mode to show the webcam image in conjunction with the primary monitor - whichever one you want to be the large image containing the smaller image is very easy to change. The small image can be moved around as desired and is also very easy to resize. The software keeps everything at your fingertips to make quick adjustments if needed. The software window has a somewhat large minimum size, which is not a problem if it can be moved to a side monitor but might get in the way if running on a single monitor. This is not really any different from other webcam software, but is worth mentioning. The microphone/audio was a little "tin can" on Skype when the camera was at a distance of several feet away, but this seems to be more of an issue with Skype than any problem with the webcam microphone. Overall, this webcam offers the best performance for the price, and the wide range of image adjustments should meet just about any video conference and streaming needs.

Best Desktop Webcam I've Used
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is great, clear and sharp with good color, even in low light. Audio performance is also better than my previous webcams as reported by people I have talked with on Skype. Automatic controls seem to take care of most lighting situations, but manual controls are available if you need more customization. Although it is a very cheap add-on, the privacy shutter is a great idea that I am surprised isn't already built-in to more webcams and laptops. Mounting on a monitor is very easy, but if you have a monitor with a very small bezel, the camera may obstruct a small part of your screen. On top of that, the retail price is very reasonable for such a high quality webcam

C920 Pro 1080 Webcam
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Webcam was easy to install and works well. I really appreciate the privacy shutter (although I'm sure it doesn't turn off the microphone). I have an older "clamshell" type Logitech webcam on another computer that also works well. This brand seems to be well made and well thought out.
