Great webcam for the money

I often dock my laptop and still need to have a webcam for work meetings. The video quality is decent for 1080p. The lens is glass not plastic so i feel it is a mid range web cam. The mic and speakers are stereo so that is much better than my laptop. The installation was quick and easy. Finally it has a privacy cover that you can block the video when needed. The autofocus does a pretty good job at keeping me in focus when I move.

I couldn't fit a separate camera and mic. I was relieved to hear the great quality of the mic on this camera. Very happy with my purchase. Also opened up desk space.

Does Move Left or Right When Mounted on Monitor

If you are going to mount on top of a monitor the problem is that it doesn't swevel left or right. Usually not an issue but when you need to move it left or right you have to remove it from the monitor.

Posted .Totally understandable—sometimes timing just works out that way. Hopefully the work-issued gear does the trick, but if you ever need a reliable webcam again, the C920s will be waiting!
Won’t work well with Mac 1080p setting using Zoom
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Doesn’t work as advertised for Mac with Zoom at 1080p setting, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. It might work just fine on windows. I specifically bought this to upgrade the camera quality on Zoom with my MacBook Air and go to 1080p instead of 720p. Even with logitune, my Zoom picture kept doing this massive, constant, spazzing glitch and going all over the place, making it completely unusable. When you look up how to fix this, the only thing you find is to install drivers. After a while of searching, you may or may not be able to easily find that Logitech has zero drivers available to download for Mac, which means they don’t have a solution for you. If you install logitune and change the setting to 720p, it works fine. However, that’s not why I bought the webcam. My inbuilt webcam was already at 720p. I bought this for 1080p with Zoom on Mac, which is what was advertised, and which was definitely not delivered. If there’s a solution, it’s not easy to find with google. I returned this and bought a Brio that’s twice the price to see if that would work. It did for the first use with Zoom, however, after that, for whatever reason, the glitching resumed. I’m hoping to find what will work for it, as I don’t inherently hate the webcam, it’s more that I’d like it to fully work at least as well as stated when you go to buy it. If you have a Mac, you may wish to shy away from Logitech webcams in favor of something you know will work. This may work fine for windows users.
