Its an okay little camera. Did not like because of it "fish eye" lens. Cannot seem to place in a small room. Good for an overall large space.

Logitech circle 2 camera, what is it?, what should you use it for?, and is it even worth checking out? First off the Logitech circle 2 camera is a wired high definition camera that monitors activity and stores all activity on to a cloud server. Lets back up and talk about what comes in the box. Out of the box your going to receive one camera, one mounting bracket with screws and hardware included, cable extension and power adapter to plug in to a wall socket. When i got this camera i specially wanted it to monitor the outside of my front door. Mounting was easy however drilling through the house to run the wire for the power was a little more time consuming. Regardless of where you choose to set your camera up installation is rather easy once you are ready to go. Once you have picked your ideal location all you need to do is simply download the Logitech app and it will walk you through the rest. Set up takes about 2 mins and is very user friendly, one thing to keep in mind when buying this product is you will need a strong wifi signal and a stable internet connection. The camera relies on having a wifi connection to work and if at anytime your wireless signal is lost you will not be able to access your camera and it will also stop storing footage on its cloud server, which is kinda of disappointing. Its for this reason right here that i would not rely on this camera set up as a primary home security set up. Instead i would use this more as a camera to help assist a well implemented home security system from a reputable company that specializes in home security. I in fact have a good home security system in my house with a few cameras however i do not have one for my front door and this camera definitely makes a good complement to a already in place security system. Lets talk about the picture quality. All i can i say is IMPRESSIVE, the picture quality is very crisp and does display in 720p with the option for 1080p. This camera is way better then my personal security cameras by a long shot. Also this camera has a motion sensor that will record anytime it picks up movement and let me say the motion sensor is very accurate and very sensitive. It would get set off by people walking by on the sidewalk or even cars driving by on the street. For me this is a plus seeing as how i want every detail recorded. Now the camera has a mic built in with a two way speaker. So your supposed to be able to hear people through the camera and be able to talk back to them. Now i don't know if i got a faulty camera or not but when i would try to talk through my phone out through the camera my voice was all distorted and the sound quality was low and not a single word could be heard. If you are hoping to get this camera don't expect or rely too heavily on the fact that it serves as a two way radio. Now however the camera itself picks up very clearly and very accurate sound quality. For example i was watching the camera one night around 10pm and i could clearly hear the crickets chirping and i could even hear my neighbors talking very clearly believe it or not. I was very impressed at the clarity of sound quality and this made up for its short coming on the other end. Viewing the camera is done through a smart phone and yes you can zoom in and out but don't expect the picture quality to get better as you zoom in cause it doesn't. Now lets talk about the different services Logitech offers. You can choose three options, free plan, basic plan, and the premium plan. The free plan is as it says free, all you get with that plan is 24 hour storage. After 24 hours has passed your footage will erase and write over the old video footage. Next is the basic plan for $3.99 a month and all you get with that is 14 day video storage instead of 24 hours. The next step up is the premium package and that will run you $9.99 a month. With the premium package you get custom day briefings which lets you know what times had the most activity, motion zones for if you decide to buy more then one camera, 31 days of storage and perhaps one of the coolest features Artificial Intelligence person detection. Now the AI person detection is kinda cool, when you pull your camera up on your phone off to the right you will see a bunch of bubbles with time stamps on them. Each bubble represents activity that was captured and the time it was captured, simply click on the bubble and time you want and it will pull up that footage. Now video footage will vary depending on the activity but it can range from a few seconds of footage to a few minutes. Now lets say someone comes up to your door or driveway, the camera will recognize that it is a person and not a vehicle, object or even an animal. When it recognizes a person it will recorded that footage at a longer length and stamp your footage with a blue bubble and a person icon on that bubble. This is kinda cool because it cuts down on footage time. So lets say your car got broken in to during the day and you dont know what time it happened. All you have to do is scroll through all your bubbles until you come across the one that is blue and has a human picture icon on it and presto there is the footage you need. Now there is a set back however, this camera does offer night vision and with all night vision picture quality is going to drop so don't expect a phenomenal picture at night. The AI detection for some reason struggles to work and most nights it wont pick up on my wife leaving or coming home from work. This is kinda disappointing however Logitech does leave the camera open for updates through its firmware. Hopefully they will fix the AI recognition at night. All in all this is a pretty solid camera with some set backs that held it back from getting 5 stars. The main thing to remember when buying this camera is not to rely on it solely for a home security set up but rather to use it as a piggy back set up off a existing system you may have. Also keep in mind this camera doesnt have to be used for security but can be used to keep an eye on your children or pets but just know the two way mic did not work good at all on my camera. pros: -EXCELLENT picture quality during the day -Super sensitive motion lens -Crystal clear sound quality -AI person detection -Easy set up cons: -Two way mic that does not work properly (may be a bad camera) -Rely solely on wifi with no back up in the event internet goes down -Weak AI person detection at night

Tons of mounting options & great wide-angle video

PROS: - Tons of unique mounting options and hardware - Solid indoor/outdoor design - Day brief is a handy feature for a quick overview of events - 1080p recording and very wide angle video - Alexa integration - 24 hours free recording CONS: - White camera surface is easy to get dirty - Many of the unique are bundled in a premium subscription service - Software is a little buggy and lacks polish in some areas REVIEW: I was very intrigued when I saw Logitech’s updated wifi security camera. Rather than a one size fits all mounting solution, they opted to offer several different options which you can purchase separately. So far, I’ve just used the standard wall mount, but I’m looking into the window mount to watch the yard. The camera is packaged really nicely and comes with straight forward directions. You’ll have to download the Logi Circle app to setup. My camera needed a firmware update right out of the box which took about 20 minutes. It failed once and disconnected which required me to start it over, but after that it worked without a hitch. Despite the early problems, I’m pleased to report that I’ve had no further issues. The camera comes with a free trial of Logitech’s pro server recording, after 10 days it will default to 24 hours for free, which may be enough for many. Otherwise you can get a basic recording plan for $3.99 a month for 14 days or the premium for $9.99 a month for 31 days with features like day brief and person detection. Overall the plans logi The camera is recording constantly, but it seems that it only saves video when motion is detected – I haven’t found a way to view pre-recorded continuous video. Motion events are stored as time-stamped clips and are displayed in a timeline on the right side of the app. You can easily swipe through the day or generate a “Day Brief” which compiles all motion events into a single time-lapse video that you can download and share. The camera does a pretty good job capturing video, it was clear and crisp on the 1080p setting. The angle of view maxes out at 180 degrees and is really great for capturing an entire room. When viewing the live stream of the camera it did appear a little laggy, but playback of recorded motion events looked smooth. Additionally, the infrared led is strong enough to allow the camera to get plenty of detail in a dark room – so no worries there. I tested the Amazon Echo integration which allows you to record a 30 seconds clip, disable privacy mode, and turn a camera on. It worked great with the recorded video showing up in my timeline in an aqua color to help differentiate it from the other clips. There is another skill for the Echo Show that allows you ask it show a particular camera stream, but I wasn’t able to test this specific feature. VERDICT: This solid camera has a plethora of unique mounting options and records great wide angle video, but if you want any of it's cooler software features you'll have to pay for the premium subscription service.

Short and sweet. Bought the camera, followed directions for setup using Iphone and Android tablet, software makes me enter update for new firmware and won't complete the upgrade. No answer from Logitech in days, using multiple methods of contact us. Wish I would have kept packaging. First problem I ever had with a Logitech product.

This is my first surveillance Camera, and I was really impressed. The Circle 2 has a nice design. Excellent quality of the video resolution and materials. The camera comes with  accessories like wall mounts, and they also provide separately a window and outlet mount, which I think is great. The camera itself is very practical. It can be positioned in any way to fit the comfort of my home. It was very simple to set up, I just followed the instructions and got the app. My camera was set up and ready to go in 15 minutes, considering unboxing and unpacking. Another detail that surprises me was the size of the camera, for the amount of tasks that is doing is half of the size of its competitors. I think everything is focus on the app and the Logitech cloud.  The app allows me to choose whether I want a notification when a person is detected and since I travel a lot I can use to take care of my home and my belongings. The app also allows you to film 24/7 so If you can’t look at the footage lie you can look at it later with no problem. The best part, When I received the camera (while I was in the US) was the day before my travel to Germany, so I set it up and left it ready at my front door, and once I arrived to Germany I started to use the app, and I was able to see either live or recorded video, with exceptional video quality. I texted a friend of mine to go to my home and pick up a package that UPS left at my entrance. When he arrived, I started to talk to him through the camera, it was a two way conversation which it was really cool. And I did everything out of the US!   About the app, it offers the “day Brief” feature, that allows you to scroll through all the movement events and alerts of the day. I am receiving continuous alerts because I set up lights to turn on and off every specific times, and the camera detects that. However, Logitech gives you a free account free account and basic storage that only last for few days, then if you want a year Premium 31-day unlimited storage is for $99 per year per camera.. I read in the instructions that there is also a way to set up your own cloud, but with the app I haven’t found a way to do it. So, my recommendation for Logitech, is to allow a local storage option, so they can give you the option to go either a subscription cloud base or local storage.

    Nice simple "wired" camera

Disclaimer: I used a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge as my app device. Setup was simple. Using it was simple. The best feature is the fact that it uses CLOUD storage - and it claims to save the last 24 hours of footage, assuming it stays on and there's daily movement. I didn't have a lot of motion with my camera and so far, it has stored 3 days worth of footage. The user interface is so simple that you almost want there to be more a times. The negatives: "Though 1080p capable, when pinching/zooming in on the picture, it's not as clear as one would hope for. Objects 10 feet away are still a bit blurry when zooming in. The full picture of the camera looks fine though. *You can ONLY view it in Landscape mode on your phone (the image doesn't rotate with how you situate your phone) *The unit had to be restarted 3 times in 3 days in order to connect. When trying to connect to the camera, all I got was a spinning circle in the middle of the screen. After restarting the camera, the video came up. That's a pretty big deal if you are away and can't get video that you paid for. *The picture is colorful but a bit distorted. This can be adjusted a little in the settings, but it has more of a fisheye look than what I would normally want. No horrible though. POSITIVES: *Though a "wired" camera, it's really wireLESS as far as internet connectivity. The "wired" just means a long USB cable for POWER only. So in that sense it is wired. There is no ethernet port anywhere on the camera or base. *Easy setup as I said before. *LED started off a little rough. There is a very thin LED circle around the center of the camera that's about 1.5" in diameter. At first, in the settings, I tried turning it off, but it would never go off. I waited a day, took a firmware release that was just released, and it went off finally. If the camera is to be stealth, it does not need to be lighting up at night especially. It turns green, red, white, and yellow depending on the settings you are using it for. *It's a little big in diameter to fit in small places. This isn't really a "covert" camera, but it's oblong size on top does make it a little difficult at times to squeeze in small areas. A lot of times, we don't want our cameras to be seen - this one is clearly seen with a white body and black front. Overall, not a bad camera. For that price though, there are better options and quality elsewhere. For a simple camera, it fits the bill perfectly... for monitoring pets, children in cribs, and possibly even a front door outside. However, with the power wire having to be used, uses are quite limited at times. I did not use outside, so I can't vouch for the waterproofness of the camera. However, the speaker and mic work though a little distorted at times. It's hit or miss here. If you're looking for advanced features, you'll want to get something else... simple things - it's right up your alley.

Great Camera with small room for improvement

The Logitech Circle is a great little camera for home video streaming. The installation was probably one of the easiest I've ever encountered for an electronic device. I had it up and running in under 5 minutes from start to finish. I wanted the camera because my dog tends to get into things when I leave. She'll eat my shoes or get something off the table so I wanted to be able to observe her and she what she actually does. What's cool about the camera is it will send you notifications to your phone when certain activity is detected. So sometimes I've been able to watch her in the act. It's very funny. You can change what type of alerts you want in the App which I find handy as well. There is also a playback feature with bubbles of the time that shows the different activity detected. So it can easily be accessed. I also think the nightvision is pretty cool for such an inexpensive camera. I feel more comfortable now even knowing my house is "secure". Almost like a smart home, I can check on the downstairs from the comfort of my bed if I wanted to do so. The only thing that really concerns me is the hackability of the feed itself. Since I am looking at it over Wifi it makes me wonder if someone can easily hack into it or if logitech itself is even monitoring. I don't think anyone really wants to see what's going on in our family room 24/7 but it is something to think about. For now I tend to keep the camera off at night and leave it on during the day to watch the dog. The only thing I haven't found to work as advertised is the talk feature. I tried talking to my roommate today through it to let him know I was on the way home and he said all he heard was a few small sounds, but had no idea what I said. So there is definitely improvement in the talk feature and the only reason it's not getting 5 stars. All in all I would recommend the camera for someone looking for a simple and easy to use camera for home monitoring.

Easy Setup, Clear Picture, Awesome Features

Let me just start out by saying that I currently own two Nestcams, the old Dropcam Pro, and some Yi Cameras. I've used all of these for various purposes, but am most impressed by the Circle 2. Pro's: 1. Setup was easy. Once you install the app on your device (iOS for me), you're immediately aware that your device has been discovered. You hear an audible tone from the Camera, and the setup begins almost immediately. No messy scanning of a barcode, or plugging into a computer here. If you use any of the Logitech products that are accompanied by a login (I use Harmony remotes), you'll be able to login fairly quickly. The entire setup process took me less than 5 minutes. The longest I had to wait was the firmware download and install, but that was painless. 2. No hub required. There are a few competing products that require a Hub to properly work. The downside to this is the lack of range when you place camera's on the exterior of your home. This one doesn't, so you can setup as many as you need, and as long as you have a great wifi signal, it will provide a strong connection. I'd recommend a mesh wireless system if you're placing them on your exterior walls. This allows for a more convenient placement option if your neighborhood is saturated with networks. I use an eero network, and it immediately connected without the hassle of trying to figure out what eero "node" to connect to. 3. 24 hours of FREE cloud recording. The others will only offer you local storage (which is pointless if the camera is stolen), or a quick 30 second clip. This one allows for a day's worth of video, and a daily brief you can view. It's a quick time lapse of all the activity that happened within view of the camera, and is pretty neat. I was able to see what my dogs did all day (mostly jumping on or off the couch). They do offer other cloud options, but they aren't required to use the device. 4. Flexibility. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to have to decide whether you purchase an indoor or outdoor camera for your security needs. This one is water resistant (or proof) so it offers you the ability to put it almost anywhere (so long as you have power and Wifi). It comes with a standard wall mount and stand, but Logitech offers additionally accessories to stick it to a window, or on a wall plug. Your applications for this are no longer tethered to a wire (if you don't want it to) with the rechargeable battery (separate purchase or buy the wireless version). The cord that comes with the wired version is also pretty long, so it's easy to find a plug if you need one. The camera itself is designed to be plugged into the appropriate base for your application (ie use it on the wired stand, or attach the battery accessory). 5. App experience. Where others have failed, this one makes up for. You can customize the level of alerts you receive, and can even filter "people" vs other. This has worked pretty well. I'm not sure how it works on the backend, but so far it's only displayed alerts for actual folks walking by. Doesn't go off when my dogs are, unless I set that option in the settings. The app is super easy to use. You can even choose what resolution your view the camera in. This is great if you don't have access to wifi while you're away from home. I have it set to 1080P, and am ashamed that I settled for other lower quality resolution options from other cameras. 6. Integration options: You can pair this to your Amazon Echo and command Alexa to start a recording. If you have the new Echo Show (the one with the screen), you can use it to view your live feed. Simply use the Alexa App to enable to skill, and you're up in a matter of a minute. This is an option not available from other cameras. Cons: Not really a con: The additional cost to take advantage of the additional cloud storage for longer recording time. There is also some added cost if you want the various mounts, but Logitech makes this optional vs required when making the purchase decision. So if you buy the wired version, you can always buy the appropriate battery pack to make it wireless. This allows you to purchase the camera you think best fits your needs, and simply by the appropriate mount attachment should things change. Summary: The Logitech Circle 2 camera is an easy buy. It offers the flexibility lacking from others, and is a great value overall. Due to the ease of use, picture quality, and the flexibility of application (indoor or outdoor), I'd highly recommend this as your next camera purchase. I'll be buying some more of these and getting rid of the others. Logitech got this Circle right.

The new Logitech Circle 2 camera provides a host of features including: full HD Video and Night Vision with 180-Degree Lens, Smart Alerts, Advanced Motion Filtering, Smart Time-lapse Day Brief, etc. However it should be noted that in order to use some of the features additional fees are required. First the setup was quick and easy; mobile app and plug in play. The Circle app allows for the changing of numerous settings in order to "customize" the experience. One thing that may be initially unnoticeable is the Circle 2's small size, compared to competitor models. This allowed for less intrusive placement within my home. I was very pleased with the quality of the video and images. The Circle 2 camera is certainly sufficient for home monitoring and security use. The one thing to note is that the overall cost of the Circle 2 can add up. There are a number of additional "related products" which you have to purchase separately if you want additional mounting options, a rechargeable battery option, etc. Something to keep in mind especially if you are building a multi-camera home security system.

Excellent Security Camera Packed With Features

An excellent internet based security camera that is extremely easy to setup. The Logitech Circle 2 security camera is wired for power and Wi-Fi for connectivity camera so placement of the camera is dependent upon an outlet and your home Wi-Fi network. It comes with a wall mount adapter or a solid enough base so you can place it on a shelf or something. There are additional accessories that can be purchased for different / better mounting options for both inside and outside of your home. The camera is packaged nicely and the setup instructions are simple and easy to follow. I setup the camera using my iPad in a little over 5 minutes. The camera is easily managed through the app and is available for all platforms. There are audio as well as visual notifications on the camera letting you know what it is doing during the setup process which is nice. The camera (and each additional camera if you are installing more than one) is independent and does not require a hub to connect like many other security camera solutions. This is a nice feature in that it allows you to place the camera just about anywhere as long as your home Wi-Fi network will allow a solid connection to it. Image quality is quite excellent and you are given the option of setting the camera to multiple video formats. This setting, of course, is dependent upon the amount of bandwidth your home Internet connection allows for. All of the video formats give you a nice, clear picture. You also have the ability to change the viewing angle of the camera with 180 degrees being the widest viewing angle. Depending on the placement of the camera, this allows for a very large area to be displayed. We have a fairly open downstairs area in our home and we can view almost 2/3 of the downstairs with where we have the camera placed. There is about a 2-3 second delay in live video you will notice when viewing the live video feed in the app. Audio quality from the microphone is also quite excellent. There are flexible settings for the microphone and depending on your placement and activity around the camera, you will need to test the various settings to find the one that will work best for you. There is a built in speaker on the camera to allow for “two way” audio but it is one of the only things that does not appear to function very well. Audio coming from the speaker when you use the talk function is quite low and very difficult to hear / understand. This is especially true is there is any noise or ambient sounds in the room. It is not a big deal but it is definitely something that could be improved in a newer version of the camera or hopefully with some additional settings in the management app. The camera / Logitech account comes with 24 hours of free cloud recording storage and basic features. I wish it were a little longer than just one day worth of storage but there are additional storage options if you would like to pay for them (monthly or annual charges). If you want to take advantage of all of the advanced features and options of the camera then you will have to sign up for the Premium Subscription service. The daily brief option is pretty cool. It gives you “quick time lapse” of any activity that was recorded for the day. You can also select individual times that a recorded event happened and quickly view it in normal speed. All in all the Logitech Circle 2 security camera is an excellent security camera packed with a lot of features and options. Aside from the couple of minor issues with paying for the advanced features and the two way speaker, I would definitely recommend.

    Mediocre hardware, unreliable service

[ Pros ] - Quick and easy setup. - Weather resistant. - Adjustable field of view, with 180 degrees being the widest option which provides great coverage. - Useful 'Day brief' feature that shows recorded activity for a user-selected time period of up to 24 hours at fast pace. - Microphone picks up sound in the room reasonably well. [ Cons ] - Operation is entirely dependent on Logitech's online service, with no support for offline recording or offline/direct streaming of live feed (over the local network). - The back-end service was extremely unreliable during my testing. - The interface is rather cumbersome to use and is lacking in features and functionality. - The speaker quality is terrible, to the degree that two-way conversation wasn't feasible. My testing partner near the camera couldn't understand most of what I spoke into my phone while using the Logi Circle app. - Lackluster image quality that lacks detail and has low color saturation. [ The Service ] The camera is accessed online through the Logi Circle app or through the Logi Circle web site, with the web site basically being a slipshod port of the app that is more cumbersome to use and lacks the feature to send audio to the camera's speaker. I found the service to be incredibly unreliable. On the first day of testing, it was very difficult to near impossible to view recorded video. Attempting video playback would usually result in long or indefinite waits, and when video did play back, seeking to a specific point in the video was usually impossible, or stopped playback of the video altogether. Other days in my week of testing were hit-or-miss with video playback. The live feed was usually stable throughout the week, although it was common to have the feed interrupted for a second with a 'loading' animation displayed. I performed my client-side testing on a wired connection with stable 100Mbps fiber optic service which was not the source of these issues. Some important features are provided, such as privacy mode (live streaming only, no video 'recorded'), toggling LED and night-vision lights off to prevent glare when the camera is positioned behind a window, adjustment of field of view, adjustment of the microphone, and adjustment of image resolution for instances where bandwidth might be a concern. However, there are several features noticeably lacking. The camera does not display timestamp overlays in still images or recorded video. When viewing day briefs, timestamps are not shown, and there's no apparent way to switch to the full recording of the event that's being shown at any given moment, in cases where you want to see the full video at normal speed for an event of particular interest. There are no options to create time-lapse videos, record videos or image grabs at specified times, or to adjust the sensitivity of what the camera deems worthy of recording. [ Conclusion ] The concept of a security camera that can be quickly and easily setup with hassle-free recording and monitoring is great. However, with hardware that I would call mediocre at best, a lack of some features I consider important, and unreliable service that gets in the way of actually using the camera as intended, I would not recommend this product to a friend.

Hello Gerbil! Thank you for your review ! We are very glad you like the easy setup and the 'Day brief' feature of the Circle 2 as well as that it is weather resistant.
In the settings of the camera you actually can adjust the motion-sensitivity. The camera can be used as a security camera but also is used by many users to record their kids and pets. That's why there is no time-stamp on those recordings.

I received this camera and immediately loved the packaging. It is packaged similar to a high end Apple product. I currently have two Nest cams and also have Arlo for outdoors. One thing I love about this camera is that it has features the other two I mentioned do not. First of all it is a wifi camera so you can expect the delay to be 1-3 seconds which is normal. The app is okay, not as good as others but it works just fine and makes using the features very easy. The great things that this camera has that the others do not is that you can box an area you want to detect so for example if you have this in the front of your house, you can put the box on the driveway vs. the road so that it only detects movement on your driveway vs. passing cars. With Arlo, you have to decrease sensitivity so much to not detect unwanted items you do lose some activity detections. This Logitech combats that problem. Another feature I love that the others do not have is that you can turn on a human feature so it only detects people and not your pets or cars. This can be done with the Nest but only if you pay $10 a month. We do have this mounted inside the house because unlike Arlo, it does require to be plugged in for power vs. having batteries. Overall it is a nice substitute for Nest and if you don't have other Nest products this camera would probably be my first choice.

Unfortunately I had to return this camera because I could not get the app to work correctly. Loved the style of camera though. Would not fall over and seemed sturdy.

For years I was reluctant to add a new layer of risk and exposure to our day to day lives by going live and online with surveillance. But with a trip planned and no apartment sitter, this was a better way to go. Logitech has created a simple plug and go device that provides peace of mind when our family vacationed this summer. The app enable device makes this a no brainer when looking for an affordable starter HD security system as it serves as a live monitor when paired with your mobile device. It comes with free 24 hour recording of your previous day, then automatically deletes previous day recordings. I do enjoy their discreet way of marketing their upgrade subscription plans, not pushy with constant alert notifications. Some key features of this device; infrared automation camera setting, 1080 HD recording option, smart alerts, microphone audio recording and speaker for two way communication, and privacy mode with built in human recognition technology. Great for outdoor and indoor use, theft deterrent during work hours and vacations. Great for homeschooling teens or for keeping an eye on your animal friends. Easy to use device. Great find.

Very easy to set up, the only downside is that it is wired. Picture quality is sharp and I like the easy to use phone app. If you are looking for a home security camera and do not want a wifi verision then buy this one. It can be used indoors or outdoors. Solid build, just a little awkward when trying to set up by the window.

The Logitech Circle 2 security camera is truly an amazing camera with crystal clear 1080p HD capabilities. I was very pleased with the clarity of the image especially when played back from a recording. When live streaming it can get laggy due to internet connection issues but you should be fine with a strong enough connection. The wide angle lens is also truly amazing. I was able to capture my entire living room which has a bunch of windows for access points and still capture the front door. The supporting app for the Logitech C2 let's you access the live feed and change the settings of the camera to your liking including resolution, field of view, night mode, and much more. My favorite feature is definitely smart alerts which you can customize to alert you on specific occasions like when a person is captured on camera. The camera is also equipped with a microphone and speaker for back and forth communication. The speaker has some issues with clarity and at times it's very difficult to understand what people are saying but the microphone is clear as day. So whether you're speaking to someone live or just listening to the playback of a recording you'll be able to capture words and sounds with great clarity. The night mode is fantastic as well and you're still able to clearly see faces with no problem. The camera can be placed inside or even outside thanks to the weather proofing design so it's very versatile. It is also designed for many different mounts than the one it came for but those must be purchased separately and some are still on pre order as of the time of this post. Overall, I think this camera is amazing and provides that sense of security that it needs to. With a battery backup you'll have a recording even if someone cuts your power or if the power goes out for some other reason. Keep peace of mind with the Logitech Circle 2!
