I have a lot of expensive tools in my garage/workshop, and it recently occurred to me that my home security system doesn’t cover that area. I decided I needed a camera that could cover all the entrances, function in day & night settings, and be remotely accessed. The Logitech Circle 2 camera does that, and more. It also can send me alerts when movement is detected, allows 2-way communication, has a great app for my iPhone, and provides 24 hours of free cloud storage. There are premium options for those who want more storage, but a day is sufficient for me. Install and set-up was very easy; you simply affix the mounting bracket to the wall (or wherever you are going to use it) with the included hardware, then clip the camera in place. You can invert it 180 degrees, then correct the image in the app, and the ball-and-socket joint between the camera and the base allows you maximum adjustment possibilities to get the exact point of view you want. From opening the box, to viewing the camera’s output on my phone took less than 15 minutes. Super simple install! The only thing I miss is the ability to insert a micro SD card for local storage. It would be nice to record myself working on a project, then pop out the card and upload the video to my computer. Not a deal breaker by any means. Overall, I am thoroughly pleased with this camera, and intend to buy 2 more to use outside of the garage.

The camera is pretty good. Pairs up quickly and the app is not that shabby. The only downside is that the homekit option only comes with the wired version. Also, the speaker could be a bit louder.

Good camera with very large viewing area. Day in brief is a great feature. One of few apple HomeKit integrated cameras. You can use motion to automate other tasks such as turning on life.

The Logitech Circle 2 camera works well with homekit. Storage options are limited and video clarity at times can be grainy, Overall I am happy with my purchase and would defiantly but the circle 2 again.

Camera takes color pictures, color video and sound. Has night vision. More than a basic camera. Also has microphone and speaker for you to hear and talk to persons around the camera location (Good for kids). Comes with 24 hour rolling cloud storage from which you can watch and save footage from last 24hrs to your phone or viewing device .

Durable, great picture quality, some limitations

The Logitech Circle 2 Wired Camera offers durability, great picture quality, and helpful audio features, but there are some limitations that make the product less useful than it could be. Setup of the camera requires the Logi Circle app (available for Android or iOS) and a Logi Circle account. Once I plugged the camera in, the app found it and got it connected to our home Wi-Fi network and my Circle account easily. I was up and running in about 10-15 minutes. I'm glad to report that the picture quality is great during the day, and pretty good at night too. The night vision illumination only reaches about 8-10 feet though, and anything further away than that begins to disappear into the dark. The field of view is also very impressive, with a nice wide-angle view of our driveway, walk, and entryway. Having audio is a helpful feature. It's good to be able to hear what's going on, and the two-way feature available in the app is a nice touch. Unfortunately, even with fast fiber-optic Internet at home and a reliable mobile provider, there's significant lag when I try to use the two-way audio feature on the go. The camera feels securely built, and there's a durable housing and mount. We've got the Circle 2 on the exterior of our house, and so far it's survived plenty of rain and wind with no trouble. The biggest thing to note about the Circle 2 is that the hardware is 100% dependent on the Logi Circle service. Many of the better features require a paid subscription. The free version of the service includes live streaming and 24-hours of cloud storage. If you want person recognition or storage of your recordings beyond 24-hours you'll need to sign up for either of the paid plans (currently $3.99 or $9.99 per month, per camera). There's no way to store recorded video locally or on any other platform. Many of the features (e.g. The only thing included with the purchase of the hardware is live streaming and 24-hour storage. Also, I think it's important to mention that the Circle 2 comes in two versions, one with a power cord built into the base and one with a battery pack base for wireless use. It would be super helpful to have one camera that can be used with either the wired base or wireless battery, but that's not possible. The camera that snaps onto the wired base is different from the camera that snaps onto the battery one. How disappointing! Overall, the durability, picture quality, night vision, and audio features make the Circle 2 a good option for many situations. If you don't mind paying monthly for some of the more advanced features or longer term video storage, this could work for you.

I love the Logitech camera’s. They work with a HomeKit flawlessly I now have 2 set up, I want to get more if the wife will let me. The cameras were great in the whole map with HomeKit. Or using third-party apps to see logitech set up was extremely easy, and having a motion sensor built-in allows me to run automations when someone comes into the room.

I bought this camera due to it's build size. I was looking for something to hide and blend in with my TV set-up. It set up easy thru my smart-phone app. The recorded and live functions take sufficient 1080P video. However, it has randomly lost connection, twice. Both times I was out of town. I had to unplug it and plug it back in when I returned. Also, the switch from day to night vision when you turn a light off or on is noticeably LOUD, which is very annoying. I like the design, just not the operations of it.
