Customers are saying

Customers commend the Crayon Digital Pencil for its ease of use, affordable price, and reliable performance, making it a great value for iPad users. Many appreciate its compatibility with various iPad models and find the battery life satisfactory. However, some users find the pencil's shape awkward, and a few note the limited pressure sensitivity. Additionally, a small number of users wish it had a magnetic attachment feature.

Absolutely fantastic. Was surprised to find that you don't have to pair the pen and that it doesn't use bluetooth... which is great cuz that means more battery life. Feels sturdy. Got it on sale for $50, which is much better than the Apple Pencil 2's price. Works very well with ipad pro 11 2018.

This pencil can do what an Apple Pencil can do. Their tips are the sam. For half the price, this pencil works great with the Apple iPad Pro 12.9 3rd and 4th Generations.

It’s not hard to setup at all, just turn it on and start writing. My only thing is that you can’t tell whether it’s on or off I’d you haven’t used it. I have to try writing to make sure I actually turned it off. Other than that it writes accurately and it’s responsive. Feels pretty durable too.

My kids love using this pen. It was easy to set up with my kids iPad. I wouldn’t pay for the Apple pen when this pen was a better deal and not issues.

Before buying this I was going to get the Apple Pencil since I had and iPad but glad I did my research and spend a lot less! It works just as good as the Apple one in my opinion. If you don’t want to spend a lot for the Apple one this one is a good option!

Bought it to use with my new iPad mini 5. Love it! Works in notes, a drawing app and coloring books (for adults, of course) Feels comfortable in my hand and extremely easy to use - no complicated setup or pairing involved. And about half the price (I bought it on sale) as the Apple Pencil.

This pen works perfectly with my iPad! The only thing it can't do it pressure sensitive strokes (the more you press, the darker the line). But it does angles nicely and has built in palm rejection! I wish the battery life was just a bit longer, though.

This is a cheaper alternative which doesn't have all the features. If you don't need to use a stylus all the time with your ipad, then I recommend the crayon, especially if you can get it on sale. The ergonomics aren't as good as the pencil, but they are ok for short uses.

I'm impressed with this pen. It works very smoothly and with great precision. You don't need to pair it with your iPad, just turn it on and you're good to go. It's very comfortable in the hand and lightweight. Only downside is it doesn't allow to appoint pressure like apples does.

Works GREAT!! Uses Apple lightning cable for charging. I mainly use to write in the Notes app but can also circle, highlight articles before emailing/texting. Just turn it on and start. Very happy with my purchase.

In general, I trust Logitech products and technology. The Pencil is easier to charge than Apple's Pencil, but its edges, though effective in preventing the Pencil from rolling, could be bothersome.

Our 9 year old has been using this pencil for almost two months. She loves it! She likes knowing when the battery is low. She gets her work done so much easier and quicker. We chose this device over the apple pencil and we don't regret it.

For a construction environment, this feels like a carpenter’s pencil which is nice. It doesn’t have the pressure sensitivity and instead uses angle of attack for drawing width. Decent purchase, especially discounted to half of an Apple Pencil v1.

Great Apple Pencil Alternative, But. . .

Absolutely a key alternative to the Apple Pencil. One key difference between the Apple Pencil and the Logitech Crayon is that the Crayon doesn’t have pressure sensing the like Apple Pencil does. If that is a downside or necessity for you, you may want to get the Apple Pencil (2nd Gen). In addition, the Apple Pencil has lower latency than the Logitech Crayon that is noticeable, but not a deal breaker.

Thank you for your insightful review of the Logitech Crayon. Your detailed comparison of pressure sensitivity and latency between the Crayon and Apple Pencil is particularly helpful. This information will be valuable to users considering both styluses.
