I tried this thing out, and it was very comfortable. I would have kept it, but I enjoyed both the price and responsiveness of the keys of a Logi mechanical keyboard.

I bought this because I was having carpel tunnel issues. Not only did it not help, but it hogged a huge part of my desk, and it slowed down my production while increasing typos. I work as a writer, and after trying to get used to this, I realized my work was suffering and went back to a standard keyboard.

I like the keyboard. But one of the Jets are stuck. And I didn’t get warranty on it so I’m sure I can’t return it. But other than that it’s a great keyboard.

Hand placement on the keyboard is comfortable and the keys are smooth and easy to type on. This is a slim and luxurious keyboard.

    Not great ergonomic design

The design is pretty plain. The wrist pad cuts off short which makes your left wrist fall halfway off. It’s worse if you wear a watch on the left too. The keys are as short as laptop keys which doesn’t make a difference even with the slight curve split. The only thing good are the adjustable height (2 options). But I would not recommend or purchase. Definitely pricier than what it is. Not better than Microsoft ergonomic keyboard. Also: This is my 3rd attempt to post this honest review.

OK but makes it hard to comfortably use the mouse

I enjoyed using the keyboard on its own: the slopped posture and split keyboard helped with my wrist strain. I am a touch typist but it did take me a bit to get used to the split keyboard (my right hand really wanted to type b). By biggest complaint is that with the num pad the keyboard is quite wide so in order to type properly on the keyboard (with the keys centered on your body) it was quite uncomfortable to use a mouse/trackpad all the way off to the right. Would probably be much better for someone who uses a left-handed mouse! I ended up returning the keyboard.

I could not get used to the split in the keyboard. I made consistent typing errors. I also hit the print screen button for which I needed to “undo.” Both of these decreased my typing speed greatly.

We understand that adjusting to a split keyboard can take time. Some users find it increases accuracy in the long run. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve the user experience. Logitech

It works well enough on my iMac, but not perfectly

I bought this to replace the failed keyboard on my older iMac and it works, but the Escape button and some others don't always function the way they did on the iMac wireless keyboard. It's not a perfect match.

I'm not liking it so far. I type on it daily and have had it for about a month now. These tight keys are hard to work with. They often double a letter you type! And worse, the placement of the keys are off a bit. They aren't close enough to the typical placement of keys on keyboards so I continue to type the wrong letters. I don't look at keys, I'm a memory typer. I've been using these types of wave keyboards for 15 years and this is a difficult one! I don't know if I will ever be able to use it without constant errors to redo. It's terribly frustrating. If you type by memory, don't buy this one. Whatever you do, don't buy this one. The only upside to this keyboard is how silent it is. That's it. Oh, and the fabric of the wrist-rest is nice.

PRO: Quality construction. Very nice wrist rest. Full sized keypad including numeric keypad. Wireless (which could be a con depending on battery life) CON: I make a lot of mistakes typing on it. I think that is from the overly pronounced bulge in the middle and the odd shaped keys Logitech uses to compensate. Keys like backspace seem much farther away than on a traditional keyboard. Mushy membrane feel, like a laptop keyboard. Undersized ESC key.

Hi Orleans704, thank you for sharing your experience with the K860. I'm sorry that you make lots of mistakes typing, I hope that that is because you are still adjusting to the design of the keyboard with the split layout. I'm sorry that you feel like the membrane on the keyboard is mushy and that the ESC key is undersized. I am happy that you do appreciate the quality construction and the nice wrist rest. Thank you for sharing your list of Pros and Cons. I hope you are able to continue to enjoy the K860 and all its features. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. Kristi from Logitech
