The buttons are aren't clicky, so if you need a quiet mouse this is great for that. The buttons are also really sensitive, I find it occasionally right-clicks when I pick up the mouse to put it aside, not a big deal (better right click than left) but something to keep in mind.

Enter the Logitech Trackball line up. No CTS since then. I've the wired up to the latest MX Ergo wireless. I dropped back down to this model since the more expensive one has more buttons that I never used except when I accidentally pushed them! Good trackball but I don't need all those buttons. But they may be great for anyone who does like and use them. The biggest "drawback" is getting use to the mouse/trackball difference. In my case, it's a "never going back" to mouse . . . ever. I like it but it may not be for everyone.

It fufills all of your mousing needs. If you feel a sudden urge to mouse but not at your 'puter???? Be glad this mouse has no tail, take mouse with you to park, on beach, mother-in-laws and mouse like at 'puter!

Very Comfortable to use.

I find it comfortable to use, Yes, you have to get used to it to use, but once done, there's no going back. Rather than moving your arm when using a regular mouse, you are simply moving your thumb w/this.

Silent Ergo Rollerball Mouse

For those not used to a ball it can take a little getting used to but I promise you'll never go back to a traditional mouse. This particular model surprised me with its absolute SILENCE. It makes no noise whatsoever which can be a little disarming at first - you don't get that audio feedback (clicking)!

Comfortable, smooth thumbball control, good design

I prefer trackballs and find the M575 is very comfortable, with a design that fits my hand very well. After hours of use, I have no strain. I am a gamer, but not a great gamer, so this mouse is fine for me. My next mouse, I might step it up to a gamer mouse. Then, I wouldn't get so frustrated in those competitive/fast-pace games <G>. However, this one is SO comfortable it'd have to be a really good one to replace it.

A mouse takes up to much room on a desk top. If you want to take it apart for cleaning the screws are under the foot pads and one under the battery label at 1.5v

Good mouse

The mouse is pretty quiet, and feels pretty good and large in the hand. The trackball also feels good to use, and the extra buttons are really good with how I mapped them. Sometimes stuff gets in between the trackball, causing it to roll a little worse, but cleaning the inside very easy. Overall a mouse I would recommend purchasing.
