Ball doesn’t rotate as smoothly, has thinner plastic. FYI, my old one 10+ years still works fine. I just wanted to upgrade a BT model, my Mac doesn’t have a usb port for the dongle.

I don't have to have a solid surface or move the mouse, the trackball does all the work. It took me some getting used to using the trackball after decades of moving a mouse around. But it is awesome.

Great Mouse with no tail!

However, Logitech continues to have a serious issue with the roller wheel and it stops working. I have had to replace several of the mouse because of this issue, and this one is less than a year old. If it is not under warranty, I will look to replace with a totally different brand as I won't trust Logitech anymore.
