Love the device, wish it was better made

Have had multiples of this style, from corded to cordless, over the years and none last more than a couple of years. Wish they would actually bring back the version with a cord, prefer that to dealing with dead batteries.

Solid trackball option

I definitely saves space if that is your biggest dilemma, and It works in that regard. It does get dirty relatively quickly which affects the way the thumb ball tracks. Not a big deal, remove the ball and clean the contacts and voilà. That said, I bought this thinking it might be easier to draw with CAD and Visio. In some ways it is and in others it isn't. Would I buy it again? Probably not, unless I needed to conserve space. That's really what it is ideal at, since you don't have to move the mouse (just the thumb ball).
