I must say the new one has more solid structure, the movement is more precise. Overall, a much improved product.

I play a lot of games that require right clicking on small items and if the pointer movers when you try to click, it really messes things up.

My issue is I failed to read the box before I bought it. It won't work with Win 8.1 which is on the computer I wanted to use it on. I did use it on a Win 10 laptop.

Trackball vs mouse

The ease of a trackball, not having to move it around like a mouse is what first interested me. This latest model has a nice new texture. I wouldn't use anything else, at least at home,,,
