Had to return the track ball. love the ergonomic design, but the item would not work with my computer. For some reason, the two items could not communicate within the working perimeters needed. Found my misplaced trackball and am using it again. Would recommend this trackball for those who use them. The shape is great and very comfortable to use (if you can get it to connect).

A bit too ERGO? Works okay, but I upgraded

Very basic as far as trackballs go. It felt smooth, but not quite as smooth as I was hoping. The ergo felt a little bit too curve and caused my hand to contort a bit rather than relax. I ended up going with a more premium model.

This is a good trackball for the average piece of equipment, it could be rechargeable that would make it above average, for the price and standard would not trade it.

I bought this as my backup trackball. Seldom used but the left button has stopped working after 372 days. It looks like quality has gone down at Logitech. I have M570 (previous model) that are over 10 years old and still working fine. I would recommend buying the extended warranty, if that is something that you do not wish to do, then I would suggest picking a different brand. I will be doing that from now on.

Could just be my preference, but while this is so comfortable for my hand my thumb just doesn't have the same precision as my palm on a mouse. Can't recommend to others.

We understand that ergonomic design is a personal preference, and while the M575 is designed to reduce strain on your wrist and forearm, it may not be the ideal fit for everyone. The mouse is sturdy and worked well, but I wanted something to offer more support to take the pressure off my thumb. This wasn't it. In fact, my hand hurt worse when using this trackball mouse. I returned it got a different mouse.

    Just another trackball

Not the best effort from Logitech. I regularly use an MX Ergo, which is many times better then the M575 but also much more expensive. I bought the M575 to use with a laptop thinking it would be more portable. Its lighter, but only slightly smaller than an MX. The scroll wheel has some issues. Not sure if its driver related or the wheel is just broken on mine but it regularly acts as a "back" button rather than scrolling. There are better cheap trackball options.

Pro: Mouse does not take up much space on desk. Con: Trackball is not sensitive no matter how I customize the setting. Very slow movement across the screen especially when you have a large monitor. Not recommended for video editor, sound mixer, gamer and anyone who needs high precision or fast response. I like all the previous Logitech mice I bought (4 total), but this M575 mouse is the first and only one going back to BB. I end up buying a Kensington Trackball mouse which is excellent.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to write this review. I appreciate you detailing your experience with the M575. I'm sorry that the Trackball was not sensitive enough for your needs. Logitech offers a free software, Logitech Options, that allows you to customize the features on the mouse including DPI that can increase the speed that the cursor moves across the screen. I'm happy that in the end you were able to find a device that worked for you. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. Kristi from Logitech

That's right! ERGO M575 has been designed and developed to ergonomically fit the shape of your hand. And with no need to move your arm around to move the cursor you’ll reduce fatigue in your hand and arm.

I first tried it out because i was tired of the normal mouses going off the pad when i used them. I have been using one for years and will never go back to a regular mouse. It is also pretty easy to clean if the ball gets dirty.

I had high hopes for this and thought it was a cool idea. Unfortunately I could see that it might actually cause future problems rather than fixing current ones. You can only move the mouse with the thumb ball it might be better if you at least had the option to move both ways. It def takes some getting used to but by end of day my hand was hurting. I decided to return. For reference I have minor carpal tunnel and “tennis elbow”
