The Logitech - G403 (Hero) Wired Optical Gaming Mouse is a great gaming mouse. I find that it is very comfortable and precise when playing several types of games. I have been playing Apex, Overwatch, CoD and Civilization to test it out and I love it. Very easy to setup, all you really need to do is plug it in, but to get the most out of the G403 Hero you need to install the GHUB software to configure your mouse buttons, sensitivity settings, RGB, and gaming profiles. As I said earlier this mouse is very comfortable in the hand, the sides of the mouse are rubber so you really have a good grip while gaming without it feeling too cumbersome and this mouse is also very light which i prefer, for those who don't Logitech includes a 10g weight that you can add to the bottom of the mouse to further your customization. Also button click feels great with the response I am looking for when gaming ( light, responsive and fast ).The HERO 16K sensor is very smooth and accurate. Overall I am enjoying this product and recommend it.

The appeal of this mouse is its simple design, RBG lighting and affordable pricing. Easy connection via wired USB and it's ready to go. It's nice that the mouse comes with a removable 10G weight to choose what feel appeals to you. The gamer in our household tried it out on various games and other applications and was satisfied with the precision of this mouse. It features Logitech's Hero 16K sensor which seemed to meet their clams of: accuracy with zero smoothing, filtering and acceleration across the entire 16,000 DPI range. The mouse features 6 programmable buttons to keep the design simple, but adequate. Buttons have a nice ergonomic feel. One can download Logitech G Hub software for customization options such as adjusting the RGB lighting, speed and DPI, and game profiles Logitech makes it easy to recommend their products given the many options and models to meet user needs. The G403 Hero mouse is well suited for those looking for a simpler, sleek, quality, wired mouse at a great value.

I'll keep this sweet and simple. This is an awesome mouse, for every day use, and while playing FPS games. I don't even use the weight inside of it, as I prefer it being light as possible, which is a plus while playing faced paced games, such as FPS games. I've used the popular G502 wired mouse, which isn't a bad mouse, but the G403 feels so much better in my hands. The G403 is also a lighter mouse. Build quality seems fine to me. I'm also using this mouse without the software. I cannot change LED color without it, but that's fine. And I don't mind the default color pattern, which has a slow breathing effect, while cycling through the colors of Red, Green, and Blue (RGB). I got this mouse during the last Black Friday sales, and I may even pick up a couple more during this holiday season. It's great mouse! I highly recommend it, especially if you play FPS games. This is about the four or fifth Logitech I have either bought or tested. The G403 is great for gaming and or everyday use, as a matter of fact it is currently my daily driver. The Hero is wired and well built. I used the plug and play aspect right out of the box. I then downloaded the Logi command center to tweak some of the devices visual and mechanical features. I changed the color ratios and mouse sensitivity (to insanely fast, lol), I have put in several hours on a couple of FPS & RPGs and I have no complaints! The input response is perfect and ergonomic design is comfortable and stress free on the hand and wrist. I suggest using the included weight to give the mouse a heavier feel for those cqc situations. At the msrp, this device will bring a touch of flare and Pro-playerism to anyone's station at a reasonable price.

I’ve owned many Logitech devices over the years with my first device going back 30 years and they have always been good. It’s not just mouse peripherals, its all their products – Astro Gaming headsets, Ultimate Ear speakers and Jaybird to name a few. So why am I mentioning the above when reviewing the Logitech - G403? Because Logitech is a company of ecosystem products that can share technologies to produce great quality and innovation, not unlike Apple. The Logitech G403 gaming mouse is an example of a great quality product from Logitech . Simple, efficient and ergonomic. I am not a big PC gamer but when I do, I want the old school wired mouse with limited buttons but razor-sharp reactions. Compare this to the some of the other gaming mice on the market that can have up to 19 buttons, 6 customizable buttons are more than adequate on the G403. The buttons are tactile, well placed and react well. The scrolling wheel spins well but not too freely. One of the things I do not like on some other gaming mice is the wheel spins way too loosely. Now to take advantage of all the capabilities you have to download and install the Logitech Hub software. I personally did not find much use for the software, so I just used the default settings from Windows. Plug it and go, just what I love about wired mice. Additionally , the G403 has an added feature where you can add a supplied 10 gram weight to give the mouse some extra heft. This can really affect your precision so do not discount trying it. In summary, the design, features, construction, ergonomics and design are spot on and all you really need in a gaming mouse. Skip the expensive , 19 button monstrosities with thousands of LED colored lights. Keep your control lean like the G403 and your gaming experience will be even better. Recommend completely.

Logitech - G403 (Hero) Wired Optical Gaming Mouse may be the most accurate mouse I have ever used. I am honestly impressed with the Hero sensor. If you like Logitech mice, you will know and like the feel of this mouse. It feels like the G Pro or G703 but wired and slightly lighter, more on that later. The wire is light enough that I almost forget that it is a wired mouse. My only downside for the mouse is the weight and the way Logitech adds weight. The weight disk is the same as any other Logitech mouse with the ability to add weight, so this is a complaint for Logitech in general and I won’t dock my rating for it. It would be nice to have more options for adding or removing weight. Whether that is by using multiple disks of different weights or a layered disk that lets you add or subtract the weight. This mouse is light, as I mentioned even the cord is light, adding the disk that came with the mouse barely made a difference. The software is Logitech’s GHub software, and it is really well done for this mouse. Not too much to it, just the right options. Being able to program what the speed changes are when scrolling through the preset sensor speeds on the mouse is well done. At 16000 DPI, this mouse will move across you screen at light speed. Normally I set at 1200 or 1600 to quickly allow me to compensate for over shooting or drift when releasing the mouse. I have it set at 800 because of the accuracy and seriously the lack of drift when releasing the mouse. I have large hands and a tendency to fingertip the mice I use. That lends to the drift I mentioned earlier. But this mouse is very comfortable, even when I relax my hand into a claw or palmed grip. The balance of the mouse is exactly what you would expect from Logitech. Overall, this is a well done mouse with no gimmicky additions for the sake of features.

Right click on the mouse doesn’t work after 3 months

The Logitech G403 HERO Gaming Mouse is a high quality and very precise wired gaming mouse. In using it with several 1st person shooters on a Dell gaming laptop, I was impressed with the instant response and comfort of the G403. It also is very attractive with RGB lighting that responds to in game action. The G403 is very lightweight and maneuverable. It also comes with a 10g weight for different playstyles. I recommend the G403 to anyone looking for a high quality wired gaming mouse.

Logitech - G403 (Hero) Wired Optical Gaming Mouse - Black I really like this corded gaming mouse, and for regular use or gaming, it’s very functional. Of course, it offers customizable RGB lighting and has 6 programmable buttons using the G HUB software you download. You simply choose from a list of functions and drag/drop it onto the mouse button you’ve selected on the mouse image next to the list – you’re done. The button behind the scroll wheel is to adjust your mouse speed on the fly, if you want, or you can customize it for something else. You can also customize control over streaming, replays, screenshots and other game related features. This mouse has a 10g weight that is held in the base magnetically, or left off as you prefer, offering a different feel and more or less resistance to moving the mouse on its pad. I find I prefer the mouse without the weight, but that’s just a personal preference. The G403 is quite precise, and I really like the very muted click when pressing a button. Frankly, loud mouse buttons or keyboards eventually drive me nuts, so the very muted click from this mouse is something I greatly appreciate. I’ve found over the years that I prefer corded mice to cordless ones. BT mice are the least dependable, in my opinion. I’ve found BT to act up at times with various BT devices from earphones to keyboards. WiFi is more reliable, but even using them from time to time I may experience some slowdown in the pointer at times. Your experience may be different, but with corded devices I don’t experience any of these things, and since it’s USB there are no batteries to change. Overall, I really like the G403 Gaming Mouse. I’m sure you can spend a lot more money and get a gaming mouse with more bells and whistles – if you’re into pro gaming, then go for it. For the rest of us, I find the G403 fits my office and gaming needs very nicely.

The logitech G403 is an almost perfect gaming mouse for a gamer like me (your mileage may vary of course). It's packaged well: secure so there's virtually no way for it to get damaged in shipping, yet was still easy to remove. The mouse itself is just heavy enough. There's something about a Logitech mouse that always fits my hand very well, even though my hands are larger than average. There is a removable weight in the bottom, but I couldn't really tell the difference when using it. The buttons have just the right amount of click, and feel sturdy enough to last (my past few gaming Mice have all been Logitech and they hold up very well). There are the perfect amount of buttons for me and my gaming style. I've seen some with up to 12 programmable buttons...personally I'd never remember where they all were, much less what they all did. You can download the Logitech Ghub software from their website. It's a quick download and easy install. From there it finds your peripherals and gives you customization options. It works for any Logitech peripheral that you have attached, so if you have other customizable Logitech products you may already have the program. It's very easy to use. You can program your buttons for different functions according to the game you're playing, and also adjust the lights (which is cool when you're not using it I guess....but the light is covered when you are). You can also adjust the speed and dpi from the software, and that is extremely easy as well. One of the cooler features is you can set up a dpi 'profile' for when you're gaming vs regular use, and switch between them very easily. Most importantly this is a great gaming mouse. Light, responsive, sturdy, and it feels good in your hand when you're playing!

I've used a few complicated gaming mice in my time. This is not one of those. Its only physical alteration possible is to add one weight to make it feel heavier. It LOOKS like a normal mouse with the lights turned off. This is good if other "normal" people use your gaming mouse on occasion. They won't be intimidated by it....on the outside. :) The sensor tracks very well on most surfaces. If you find a surface that it doesn't track well on, well you might want to pause and ponder your life choices. Has a program to download to control functionality. Can have macros and program all buttons to your mouse. Can have many, many, many profiles for different games/programs/whatever, with separate button commands and macros per profile. Very easy to use the software. Has programmable lights for both the logo and the scroll wheel. My favorite light setting is for Audio Visualizer, Reactive color mode. You set your two colors for low and high audio, and a few other settings and then the colors react and pulse to audio playing. You can adjust the sensitivity (DPI) via a button behind the scroll wheel or in the program, where you can also adjust the scaling of the sensitivity via the DPI button presses. Mouse came with an optional 20gram weight to add to mouse. I like the feel of the mouse movement better with the weight added. This is a very accessible gaming mouse with enough customization because of the great program from Logitech to go with it. I recommend this mouse.

Logitech - G403 (Hero) Wired Optical Gaming Mouse – Black. My daily mouse which is the Logitech G502 Hero and the Logitech G403 Hero have a lot in common. But they differ a lot is in their ergonomics and the G502 does have quite a few more button options. Even with that the optical tracking sensor are the same, you can adjust the weight and the lighting effects are pretty much the same. And although the G502 does have more buttons I really find I don’t use them that much. In fact, I think the G403 gets the balance just right. In that respect I actually like the G403 better. But where it really matters to me is the way they feel in the hand. The G403 compliments the G502 by giving you a choice. I prefer the G502 but either works very well and I think that is really where the big difference that matters the most is. So, if the feel of the G403 is a better fit for your hand, save the few dollars and go that way. You are really not giving anything up and they are both very good as a daily mouse and of course they are excellent for gaming. Logitech probably more than any other company that makes gaming peripherals has been the leader and the go to manufacturer for PC gaming going back farther then I can remember. And although the G403 is almost on feature par as the G502 either is a great choice so go with the one that feels best for you.

This is a great gaming mouse. It works and works well. I didn't have any issue with the sensor on my desk surface. I was able to tune it to my needs and the braided cord looks nice. The ability to add some additional weight made it feel prefect in my hands. It was plug and go. They do have additional software for customization, which works and is nice, but the fact it isn't needed to get this mouse to work great for gaming is all I care about. It felt and moved as I expected, never had an issue in tracking or it freaking out. If you need a new mouse and don't mind it being wired this definitely the one to try. It worked perfectly. Logitech and the Hero sensor they have is prefect. Just very impressed with this.

Logitech never ceases to amaze me with their innovation in technology creations! Right out of the box, this mouse is ready to go! However, if you desire more as a gamer, you can download the G Hub, which comes loaded with plenty of bells and whistles! Right out of the box, I couldn’t help but notice how light in weight this mouse feels. The mouse has a coin that can be added on if a gamer desires a sturdier balance. The clicks feel great and I personally did not experience any delay while using this mouse. The sensors with 16000 dpi affords great resolution along with accuracy. Therefore, if you are a gamer who wants that mouse that packs a punch, then this is the one!

This is an excellent mouse all around. Perfect size and ergonomic feel in the hand for long use with no fatigue. The soft touch is a plus. The programmable buttons are perfect for the experienced gamer to dial in their usage. The scrolling is silky smooth and quickly adjustable with the center button. I love the lights that change with the game even though you can't see or don't focus on them while playing because your covering with your hand. No big gripes so far. All in all a great mouse at a nice price point.

I am an occasional PC gamer and have always relied on the mouse that shipped with the computer. As you can imagine, that is not necessarily the best mouse to get the best results from games. The Logitech G403 HERO Gaming Mouse is a major upgrade for me. It feels solid and the buttons are far more responsive than the mice I have used previously. This is a wired mouse so you will not get any issues with the wireless connectivity that wireless mice can have. The cord is quite long but comes with an integrated Velcro strap to keep it in check while you play. Logitech state that it has up to 16,000 DPI sensitivity. I have no way of checking this but I was very impressed with the movement when I tried it on my gaming laptop with "Gears of War 4". The movement was very smooth and natural and I felt I should have had this mouse a lot sooner. The mouse can be programmed to light up in response to in-game action. I'm not that bothered with this so I just left mine randomly cycling through colors which was pleasant and not distracting. The buttons as I mentioned earlier have great click feel and must have some good springs installed. Only time will tell how they keep up but for a casual gamer like me, I doubt they will be stressed. I didn't feel like I needed to mash them as I have with standard computer mice, so this is another big improvement. I tried the mouse both with and without the included, optional 10g weight and preferred it with the weight. It is a great option to have as people will have different preferences so I applaud Logitech for including this. All in all this is a really excellent mouse which I use both for games and general Windows applications. It has great response when used in reaction games and the look and feel are worthy of any gaming rig. I miss it when I'm just pushing around a standard mouse and might start packing it around with me for both work and home, it is that good!

This mouse checks all the boxes for me - wired, big enough for my large hands, programmable buttons, decent weight, uses the same customization software as my Logitech keyboard. If you can't figure out how to remove the cover where the additional weight goes - the cover is held on magnetically and the weight is also held in magnetically. So just tip the cover and lift it off, there's no latch or tabs holding it on.
