The Logitech G403 Hero Gaming Mouse features an amazing 16k sensor, and I find the 1600 rate works perfectly for me. Due to the design, the mouse is easy and comfortable in my hand. The mouse has a smooth rounded design which I believe adds to its appearance. The one area of concern is on the rare occasion the Left button is not responsive! Also, there has been a slight delay again only on a rare occurrence; however, this can still be annoying. I would have expected this wired mouse to be Perfect and spot-on every time? I like having the ability to reassign the buttons, including the use of macros through the Logitech gaming software. Within the software, you can also adjust the lighting effects or turn it off completely! The actual movement is smooth; I have inserted the provided weight and have not had any problems with sudden movements side to side. Overall, it's an excellent mouse, including the software adjustments that allow you to fine-tune it to your preferences.

The Logitech G403 HERO is a sleek, light, and comfortable gaming mouse for all ages and play styles. It’s smooth reaction and acceleration is perfect for playing competitively, or simply playing casually. The mouse has the standard right, and left click, as well as the wheel and two extra buttons that you can assign to keys in game, or with their downloadable software described on the back of the box. The mouse’s wheel has individual click inputs for those that play games where the wheel is utilized, this gives the player maximum control. The mouse is also equipped with RGB lights that flash along with in game audio and action sequences. While this is a quite entertaining feature, it does not say how to turn it off, and can be a bit distracting while playing or just browsing the web. Overall, it’s an excellent gaming mouse, and well worth it’s retail. It’s slim, comfortable design is perfect for a long day of work or play, and it’s wired design allows for just that.

Logitech is my go-to for productivity accessories. The " G HERO" line of gaming devices is their premium gaming series. This G403 mouse definitely fits the bill. The tracking surface on the mouse is very smooth, works great on bare tables or mousepads, and the tracking resolution being adjustable and switchable with software controls works great. Players of shooters and SIM games where scope or fine precision needs to be combined with faster/macro tracking will love the ability to toggle tracking resolution and configure custom toggling range in the software. The mouse also comes with a weight that can be added to the mouse to give it more "heft" or "swing" when using it - I prefer a heavier mouse to give me more control and precision when using it. Being able to add weight really helps. I only wish the weight was a BIT heavier - It only made a marginal difference. Also the package almost hides the weight medallion in the packaging material. I had to go back through the box to find it when I realized it was included. I was "underwhelmed" with the difference it made, but it does make a difference. The software experience was good, and I was glad to see full RGB customization of the wheel and logo backlight, having the ability to match the device to the red backlight of my Acer Nitro 5 rig. All in all if youre looking for a wired USB mouse for gaming and general use, you can't go wrong with the HERO G403

The mouse worked out of the box without any extra software installed but if you want to take advantage of all the features, bells and whistles, you will need to download its software, including the G Hub, which helps you configure the mouse for most games out there. The 16K sensor on this Logitech G403 definitely makes a huge difference. It made the mouse extremely precise for all games I tried. My experience in that regards was extremely pleasant with a feeling of infinite DPI sensitivity and the five modes are just what any gamer needs. The Lightsync also worked very well although I think it is just for show-off since you will not be paying that much attention to the color changing while playing games but hey, I love it. Another good feature is the button metal springs. Great click feel and responsiveness. That is essential for good gaming experience when playing with a mouse. Great job, Logitech! Some people will probably like that it is very light. To me, it feels too light. The included removable 10-gram weight makes up a little bit for that but not enough in my opinion. The good news here is that it has a good ergonomic feel to it. That is important to everyone while the weight is just a matter of preference and probably most people like that it is light, not heavy, and will even remove the extra weight to make it even lighter. Overall, I really liked this mouse. My only complaint may not matter to most people anyway.

Logitech - G403 (Hero) Wired Optical Gaming Mouse - Black is a great iteration of gaming on a budget. This mouse sports an LED light "G" and scroll wheel giving it the cool gamer look while offering many necessities to make it a legit gaming mouse. I found this mouse comparable to similar, high-cost, gaming mouse that I have used. This one was a simple plug-n-play setup without the need for software or downloads to make it work. The style looks great, while the design makes it comfortable for hours of use. The quick access buttons offer page forward or back options with a flick of your thumb and the center button adjusts the speed of the mouse movement on the fly for customization and detailed work. The braided cord makes for a smooth glide on any surface without bunching up or sticking, thus affecting the use. I was overall impressed with this mouse and have actually replaced my wireless mouse by the same maker for this one at work due to the comfort and options. PROS - Gaming mouse on a budget - Logitech name and quality - LED accents look great - Braided cord - Multi-use buttons provide quick access for functions - Accurate! CONS - None at this point.

Logitech's G403 wired gaming mouse is very light, but you can also add a 10 gram weight to it if you want something with more heft. I tried it both ways and prefer it to be lighter, since I use it a lot. The mouse has built-in memory, so if you program it for games and/or programs (with the G Hub software), you can use it with a different computer or a new computer without having to program it all over again. In games and general use I found the mouse to be very responsive and accurate. Some mice (especially non-gaming mice) have very inaccurate pointers, so you're constantly clicking on things you don't want. With the software (which you download from the Logitech website), you can program all the various mouse buttons, program game profiles and also the light scheme the mouse uses. The G logo on the mouse lights up and turns different colors, as does the mouse wheel. Speaking of the mouse wheel, it's nice and wide, with little grooves to give your finger something to grab onto, rather than just a slick rubber wheel. Much better than the mouse I had previously.

Logitech has always made solid gaming peripherals and this mouse is no different. It doesnt have all the buttons that many gaming mice have and, for my needs, this is good. If you are looking for a mouse that has all the bells and whistles this may not be it. If you are looking for a good responsive, easy to manage device, this will fit the bill.

When playing PC games you got to have the fastest acting mouse and I believe I have that now. I had really good mice in the past but this one is perfect and size not to bulky in great track speed.

No matter which way you rotate the mouse wheel it will scroll in the opposite direction at random intervals. The only "fix" I found online on Logitech's site is downloading some spyware software that is more interested in spying on my Discord app than it is actually fixing the problem. I do not at all recommend this mouse at all and, if spyware is Logitech's concern over manufacturing quality products, I don't recommend Logitech either.

Good mouse but after a while my son decided for another one with slicker looks.

I really like this mouse, or at least while it worked. The first mouse I received started doing this weird behavior where it would scroll in the opposite direction. This happened within 3 months of getting the device. I contacted Logitech, they helped me out, sent me a new mouse! I was very satisfied with their help. Well here I am 18 months later and the same issue occurs, I go to scroll and it goes the other way unpredictably. I contacted Logitech again but this time they say its out of warranty and they can't help me. I just expect something of this price to last longer than 2 years.
