Logitech - G403 (Hero) Wired Optical Gaming Mouse - Black is a great iteration of gaming on a budget. This mouse sports an LED light "G" and scroll wheel giving it the cool gamer look while offering many necessities to make it a legit gaming mouse. I found this mouse comparable to similar, high-cost, gaming mouse that I have used. This one was a simple plug-n-play setup without the need for software or downloads to make it work. The style looks great, while the design makes it comfortable for hours of use. The quick access buttons offer page forward or back options with a flick of your thumb and the center button adjusts the speed of the mouse movement on the fly for customization and detailed work. The braided cord makes for a smooth glide on any surface without bunching up or sticking, thus affecting the use. I was overall impressed with this mouse and have actually replaced my wireless mouse by the same maker for this one at work due to the comfort and options. PROS - Gaming mouse on a budget - Logitech name and quality - LED accents look great - Braided cord - Multi-use buttons provide quick access for functions - Accurate! CONS - None at this point.

Logitech's G403 wired gaming mouse is very light, but you can also add a 10 gram weight to it if you want something with more heft. I tried it both ways and prefer it to be lighter, since I use it a lot. The mouse has built-in memory, so if you program it for games and/or programs (with the G Hub software), you can use it with a different computer or a new computer without having to program it all over again. In games and general use I found the mouse to be very responsive and accurate. Some mice (especially non-gaming mice) have very inaccurate pointers, so you're constantly clicking on things you don't want. With the software (which you download from the Logitech website), you can program all the various mouse buttons, program game profiles and also the light scheme the mouse uses. The G logo on the mouse lights up and turns different colors, as does the mouse wheel. Speaking of the mouse wheel, it's nice and wide, with little grooves to give your finger something to grab onto, rather than just a slick rubber wheel. Much better than the mouse I had previously.

The appeal of this mouse is its simple design, RBG lighting and affordable pricing. Easy connection via wired USB and it's ready to go. It's nice that the mouse comes with a removable 10G weight to choose what feel appeals to you. The gamer in our household tried it out on various games and other applications and was satisfied with the precision of this mouse. It features Logitech's Hero 16K sensor which seemed to meet their clams of: accuracy with zero smoothing, filtering and acceleration across the entire 16,000 DPI range. The mouse features 6 programmable buttons to keep the design simple, but adequate. Buttons have a nice ergonomic feel. One can download Logitech G Hub software for customization options such as adjusting the RGB lighting, speed and DPI, and game profiles Logitech makes it easy to recommend their products given the many options and models to meet user needs. The G403 Hero mouse is well suited for those looking for a simpler, sleek, quality, wired mouse at a great value.

The Logitech G403 Hero Gaming Mouse features an amazing 16k sensor, and I find the 1600 rate works perfectly for me. Due to the design, the mouse is easy and comfortable in my hand. The mouse has a smooth rounded design which I believe adds to its appearance. The one area of concern is on the rare occasion the Left button is not responsive! Also, there has been a slight delay again only on a rare occurrence; however, this can still be annoying. I would have expected this wired mouse to be Perfect and spot-on every time? I like having the ability to reassign the buttons, including the use of macros through the Logitech gaming software. Within the software, you can also adjust the lighting effects or turn it off completely! The actual movement is smooth; I have inserted the provided weight and have not had any problems with sudden movements side to side. Overall, it's an excellent mouse, including the software adjustments that allow you to fine-tune it to your preferences.

Logitech never ceases to amaze me with their innovation in technology creations! Right out of the box, this mouse is ready to go! However, if you desire more as a gamer, you can download the G Hub, which comes loaded with plenty of bells and whistles! Right out of the box, I couldn’t help but notice how light in weight this mouse feels. The mouse has a coin that can be added on if a gamer desires a sturdier balance. The clicks feel great and I personally did not experience any delay while using this mouse. The sensors with 16000 dpi affords great resolution along with accuracy. Therefore, if you are a gamer who wants that mouse that packs a punch, then this is the one!

The Logitech G403 HERO Gaming Mouse is a high quality and very precise wired gaming mouse. In using it with several 1st person shooters on a Dell gaming laptop, I was impressed with the instant response and comfort of the G403. It also is very attractive with RGB lighting that responds to in game action. The G403 is very lightweight and maneuverable. It also comes with a 10g weight for different playstyles. I recommend the G403 to anyone looking for a high quality wired gaming mouse.

When playing PC games you got to have the fastest acting mouse and I believe I have that now. I had really good mice in the past but this one is perfect and size not to bulky in great track speed.

Logitech has always made solid gaming peripherals and this mouse is no different. It doesnt have all the buttons that many gaming mice have and, for my needs, this is good. If you are looking for a mouse that has all the bells and whistles this may not be it. If you are looking for a good responsive, easy to manage device, this will fit the bill.

No matter which way you rotate the mouse wheel it will scroll in the opposite direction at random intervals. The only "fix" I found online on Logitech's site is downloading some spyware software that is more interested in spying on my Discord app than it is actually fixing the problem. I do not at all recommend this mouse at all and, if spyware is Logitech's concern over manufacturing quality products, I don't recommend Logitech either.

I really like this mouse, or at least while it worked. The first mouse I received started doing this weird behavior where it would scroll in the opposite direction. This happened within 3 months of getting the device. I contacted Logitech, they helped me out, sent me a new mouse! I was very satisfied with their help. Well here I am 18 months later and the same issue occurs, I go to scroll and it goes the other way unpredictably. I contacted Logitech again but this time they say its out of warranty and they can't help me. I just expect something of this price to last longer than 2 years.
