Overall it is a good headset. I love the design, but it could be a little sturdier. I like the way it fits and sits in my head. And I like how it boosts the sound around you so even while wearing them your not to cut off from the world because it feeds the sound into the headset.

I bought a pair for my son and was listen to music that he listen to. I was shocked how they sounded. So I broke down and bought me a pair and I am loving it!

I purchased this over 2 years ago, and it's still going strong. The quality is excellent and the sound is great. It's very comfortable to wear. You do have to run the Logitech software to get the surround sound benefits.

The sound in these headphones are great. Able to hear where the shots are coming from. Pair it up with a good sound card.

Very Comfortable headset. Can play Fallout and GTA for hours without any fatigue from wearing.

Good sound quality. You can download the software from Logitech website and customize it. Fits right. Use it for MMORPG and TeamSpeak. Easy to install. Bought this on sale. The quality is great.

Surround Sound by Headphones is the next new thing in gaming. So many to chose from. G430 I feel are the best for the Price. Cloth is better then pleather. Less metal make it lighter. USB adapter included, Blueish is better the Greenish. Wireless need recharge.

I bought this headset to replace a Razer headset, I wasn’t sure how well it would work, but I gave it a try. It has a microphone as well with good audio. Highly recommended!

I bought these about a month ago and they were GREAT sounding with Windows Ultimate 64 bit...Excellent sound,great 7.1 surround Now on Widows 10 Pro 64 bit with the same Realtec Gigabyte on-board sound card...Now there is NO sound what so ever..Logitech tech suppport has been non-existent except to say try plugging it into the 3.5 plug instead of the USB,,WHAT? What's the point of surround if there is no surround?And without the USB card there is no surround...I have removed/reinstalled their software about 6 times and at this point there is no sound from them at all..NOT happy at all...

The basic functions of this headset are great: the mic is of pretty good quality, and the sound quality when using the 3.5mm analog plugs is reasonable as well. However, the comfort level is only mediocre for longer periods of use (>90 minutes), and the headband has a tendency to slide off when I'm moving around sometimes. The surround sound performs well for many games, but the bass level in LGS (Logitech Gaming Software) — i.e. whenever using the USB adapter/mini sound card — is far too high and makes good audio feel unbalanced; as a number of reviewers across the internet have said, spending some quality time with the equalizer inside LGS can fix most of the issues here. Additionally — and this may be particular to me — whenever using USB with surround turned off, the balance is skewed far right. The surround sound feature turns itself off regularly in LGS, and I've grown rather tired of having to turn it back on every time I sit down at my computer. Sound quality aside, the build quality of this headset is great. It has a metal headband which seems unlikely to snap in half like many lower-quality headsets, a nicely braided cable, flexible mic boom, replaceable, lay-flat mesh earcups, and generally feels like a solid piece of gear. However, I just can't forgive the lack of decent sound quality and subpar comfort at the mid-range price point of $80 MSRP. The G430 is one of few Logitech products I've purchased that I would not recommend.

I am very happy with the Logitech - G430 Over-the-Ear Gaming Headset. My only complaint is the cord tangles easily but product works great other than that. Any suggestions to prevent cord wrapping and tangle upon itself would be appreciated.

I own a youtube channel, and this headset comes in to just about all my needs. It has comfort, style, and Surround sound, but I have come into a few things that I don't exactly like about it. It has a very long wire, so if you're in a office chair, the wire can go under one of the wheels and get stuck. The Surround Sound is amazing, but I had to install a program for it to work. Overall, great headset for gaming and listening to music

These puppies have some booming sound quality. Virtual 5.1/7.1 Dolby surround sound on a USB headset? Yessir! The construction of the headset makes it feel fairly durable, but the pieces that aren't metal (the plastic pieces) feel very cheap and would break if dropped, I'm sure. I don't really care to test that out.... :) Overall I would recommend this purchase. The headset has sound quality comparable to those premium headsets such as Astro A40. Just note that the surround sound is virtual surround sound and not 100% genuine Dolby 7.1 surround as the premium headsets (Astros, etc) use, which is only available via optical ports.

bought for PS4. Yes they work, but have a very LOW volume. You will be dissapointed if using for this console. Also as other reviews say, they are made with very cheap plastic. Yes I can see them breaking at the earpeice swivel very easily. returned them and got the PS4 wireless gold headphones and they blew the G430's out of the water. I am extremely happy with the Sony's They sound awesome, fit great. I also tried the Corsair H2100 wireless. They DO NOT WORK with the PS4

I recently purchased this headset to try to alleviate the pain of having so many cords cluttering my desk. The thought of moving to a wireless headset was definitely something I was willing to entertain. Pros: This headset is very easy to setup and the overall feel of them is amazing. They are definitely designed for you to use them for an extended period of time while gaming. The gaming software that is available to download offers you some unique customization for your headset, and is a breeze to configure. Also, the quality of the microphone is great considering the wireless connection. Cons: The wireless connection on this headset is really what made me become interested in making an exchange for the wired Logitech 430. I am currently experiencing a series of disconnects while I am using them. This will interrupt any audio you plan to listen to and any recording/streaming you may be doing with your microphone. Also, there often times is a weird interference when you are listening to sound through the headset. Not sure if this is because the set I have is defective, or it is common with all the g930s Overall it comes down to dealing with the constant disconnects vs the fun of having a wireless. The pain of the constant disconnection & random interference sounds while listening to audio is not worth the ability to use your headset wirelessly. Wired or Wireless... I would recommend going wired.

This is my first headset since a 1999 piece of junk. The surround sound works shockingly well for the forty dollars I paid. The cord is crazy long, almost too long IMO. The mute button is handy and works well, but is a bit too far from the headphones. This headset works really well for 2-3 hours, I've sat with it on for more than that and the top of my head ached a bit, but I probably shouldn't be sitting for 3 hours in the first place.

I've used this to play PC games. It's big enough to cover your ears completely. Sounds great and is comfortable.

I wasn't sure if I would like the headset because it was on sale for very low. But I must admit, I enjoy my Logitech headsets because it saved me money, consistently provides me with noise cancellation and accurate audio when an enemy is nearby. I play Fortnite and see these headsets as a must if you're on a budget and want surround sound to take advantage in-game scenarios/battles. Thank you Best Buy for always having my back when I need gaming equipment.
