good headset for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The reason I bought this is for recording my gameplay and streaming online. The only thing that's annoying for me is when you plugging the USB it keeps installing the driver even it was already installed. I'm not sure if that's how it is but it's getting annoying.

Excellent! Almost Exactly Like the G930
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously purchased a Logitech G930 wireless headset only to find out it had a number of issues since release and I ran into several of them.. Screeching.. dying randomly.. turning off and not back on.. mic not muting or staying muted forever.. etc etc.. Anyway, this headset, the G430, is exactly what the product description for the G930 boasted, but it's wired and doesn't have all the unmentionable horrible problems that the G930 has.. If you find this on sale, I'd say you should snatch it up. The virtual surround is great. The new Logitech Gaming app is great. GO for it. The only apparent difference between this headset and the G930 is the cord, which is long enough to suit anyone's needs.

Great
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds great, works as it should. Don’t expect high end sound and bass as you’re getting what you pay for but for simple gaming purposes it suffices.

great gaming headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for something that would give me that sensation of being in the game as far as acoustically and these really did a good job at a fair price point.

Awesome sound and comfortable to wear
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset has both 3.5mm jacks and a USB converter so I was a bit dubious about how the sound quality was going to be. The sound quality is amazing and they are actually really comfortable to wear.

7.1 is nice but quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy the headset the surround sounds great but I can crank the volume up on everything and it's just not loud at all. I expected more there.

Cheap and sturdy, with good quality.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best price to performance headphones on the market. The only negative is the soundcard, while it gets the job done the surround sound is sub par at best. However you can bypass this by plugging the speaker jack into the computer directly, a nice workaround. These headphones also work great for console gaming, however you'll have to stream your game through your computer with your headphones in to get it to work with Xbox. PS4 doesn't have this issue as you can just plug it in directly to the console and it'll work.

Great Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very Comfortable, Great Sound, and Price. I like the mute and volume controls located on the cord, and the USB adapter thats included, for computers that don't have the separate Mic/Headphone Jack.

Can't beat the price for a 7.1 headset.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I get into this, let me just say: I bought this on sale, for $50. I wasn't expecting too much from a $50 7.1 headset, but I was pleasantly surprised. Pros: -Sound quality is pretty good, for a non-amplified headset. -It is incredibly comfortable once you get the foam broken in. -The Surround Sound capability is almost spot-on, which is great since it's Virtual. -The microphone is "uni-directional," which basically means each side of the mic will pick up sound. Nice thing is though, is it's noise-cancelling. -The headband is made of a fairly thick metal, which will greatly increase the durability of the headset, and also keeps it planted to your head a bit better. -Look great...I mean, VERY great. Cons: -The mids and bass are a bit lacking, but that's to be expected from an unamplified headset. -The USB dongle/sound-card can cause some serious problems at times...and for an audiophile, it's no fun. Sound isn't consistent. -Previously mentioned USB dongle is REQUIRED for Virtual 7.1 Surround. -Isn't True Surround, but it was under $80 (even before the sale) Overall: I gotta say...for the price I paid, I got ALOT. When Surround Mode is activated in the software Logitech directs you to download, you can pretty easily pinpoint where enemies are coming from. The sound, although lacking a bit, is still quite powerful and clear despite not being amplified via USB. The microphone is alot better than my previous headset's (Turtle Beach X12), and cancels out quite alot of "ambient noise." If you're looking for a relatively cheap, well-rounded headset, I'd definitely recommend the Logitech G430.

Best bang for the buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use this on PC and on Xbox one (with the appropriate adaptor). Sounds are crisp and clear and it does not bother me when wearing it for hours during long gaming sessions.

Great quality for gaming alone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to use my Dre Beats, but realized that my computer wasn't compatible with the built-in mic. I play a lot of Rainbow Six Siege and Battlefield 1. I was very satisfied with my ability to track where sound was coming from. You really can't tell the difference between the two headphones.
