failed after average use

After about 6 months the covering over the foam pads started wearing off. The cord is horrible! It tangles up way too easy and once it's all twisted up it's near impossible to straighten out again. Mine just finally completely failed after about 1-1/2 years of use. For the price, they should last much longer than that I would think. I have cheaper headphones that have lasted for 10 years. The cord is what finally broke on mine. Something came disconnected inside or the wire broke inside the cloth covering. For about the last month or so one side would cut out randomly. Finally, just now, they completely stopped working. I'll never buy logitech headphones again. I love their mouses, and run 2 G700's but the headphones are junk.

Very great headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to upgrade from using apple earphones to a gaming headset and out of all the headsets available, the Logitech G430 is very affordable and actually very good for its price point. Since these are my first pair of headphones, it really took me awhile to get used to how it felt, but overall a very very great headset!!

Broke too soon

This happened 6 months after we bought it. for $60 I thought that was pretty bad . I have had $20 head sets last me years.. Luckily the the replacement plan we got a free replacement.

Great Sound

Right now it's stereo but I have been doing some gaming with them and the sound is fantastic. I've pnly had them for a few weeks so I can't comment on longevity.

Dropped him off at the ex's and asked him the next day what he thought of them. His entire response was positive and even claimed that they sounded better than his old set. I don't expect him to be an audiophile but I am and it seems he's developed a pretty good ear on his own (can't imagine how) so if he says they sound good, they sound good. Period. These results are based on him using them withOUT the downloadable driver which I've heard gives them a few more features like a 7.1 simulation and some spatial adjustments. Let me put it this way, I wanted to see for myself but he ain't coming up off of them. Might have to get me a pair. Especially at the $35 price point.

Great sound quality for the price

So far its great. pretty much just a plug in and play experience. it comes with a audio/mic to usb adapter which is excellent. i reccomend using the logitech software to preview the sound stage effects to get a good feel for the quality. the eq levels are super customizable too.

Solid headphones

They work well. Sound is good. Comfort is okay - after an hour or so, I drop the skype call to give my ears a rest (note that I'm not a huge fan of headphones in the first place).

The headset felt cheap, and the volume isnt very loud. This may be my audio set up. The reason for 3 stars is the cheap feeling I get when putting them on.
