How do they sound better than my sony 1000xm4s?!

Bass is solid and sound quality is crazy clear. Obviously the Sonys have sound canceling but this isolate sound pretty good.only downfall is.. maybe it’s my PlayStation 5 but I have to manually switch the sound output/input each time I start the PlayStation. If I don’t sound will be directed to my headphones instead of my sound system.. most likely it’s my PlayStation but… idk
