A decent mouse but not good for gaming

Neither would recognize this mouse. There are known issues with the software and I tried the suggested solutions without success. I ended up using XMBC and Microsoft drivers. The other problem was the side buttons didn't have a positive feel to them and would often times not work for gaming. They do work and are ok for spreadsheets and word processing. It did have reasonably long battery life and all around good feel overall.

Ergonomically the mouse is great, but the build quality is extremely lacking. All of my mice have broken the same way. Scroll wheel bar internally snaps after a year or so of use. I do not abuse my mice and are not hard on them. The plastic is extremely thin and does not hold up to any sort of use. One of my mice was knocked accidentally out of a friends hand 2 inches onto the desk and broke the scroll wheel. If you have any issues or breakage good luck getting Logitech to cover it. I’ve paid $320 in mice in the last 3 years because of the same issue.

Mouse is a little bulky but that's okay. Not as heavy as I thought it would be especially with the metal weight piece in it.

I usually keep it plugged in so this is not an issue. Programable buttons is a nice feature which I have not taken full advantage of as of yet. The RGB lights are gimmicky to me but understand that some people like this feature. The next mouse I buy does not need the lights and may be alittle less expensive.
