Interesting concept - Fast gaming
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my time gaming with PCs I've owned almost exclusively Logitech mice and this just keeps up with that tradition. I am upgrading to the G703 from my aging (and dying) G700s and I have to say that for the most part it is an improvement. To start, the packaging is your standard mouse packing, it's plain box embossed with Logitech G703, a picture of the mouse, and that's about it. Not much in the way of literature (which is fine with me), the mouse itself, the wireless lightspeed module and an extension cable. Setting it up, as you would expect, from most mice, is plug and play, once I attached the receiver module to the extension cable it was good to go. Be aware that this extension cable can also be used to power the mouse directly should you run out of batteries while you're playing. And on the note of batteries, this mouse has the battery built-in, it is not user-replaceable like most of their previous wireless mice. Also something to note about this mouse is that it supports their 'PowerPlay' mouse mat which allows you to never have to charge it as it receives power wirelessly through the mat, which I have every intention of purchasing eventually. The feel of the mouse itself is quite nice, the sides are soft rubber and the top is a very smooth (but not glossy) plastic. I will say that it is a bit light weight, even with the weight in the mouse. It will take some getting used to as my G700s had a AA rechargeable battery in it which added considerable weight to an already hefty mouse. The mouse also has an RGB 'G' on it along with a stripe on the mousewheel. Honestly, coming from the G700s this feels more like a sidegrade or even a slight downgrade, but unfortunately my G700s was dying. Playing games like Overwatch and Assassin's Creed Odyssey felt as natural as ever, even wirelessly, which is something I avoided in the past even though my G700s was wireless. Overall it's a pretty slick mouse, a decent option for those who want a wireless gaming mouse.

great for gaming and daily use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the good: fast response time - Most home "consumer" users won't really notice, but gamers will appreciate how quickly the mouse responds to movement. Very fast, very accurate, and also highly configurable in terms of how sensitive you prefer your mouse. good battery life - rated at 35 hours with the default rgb lighting, closer to 50 without. comfortable/well balanced classic understated design - I'm not personally a fan of flashy design. This mouse has a classic look with just a touch of rgb. button mapping - using the Logitech G Hub software, the individual buttons on the mouse can be mapped to different functions/macros. usable while charging with included micro-usb cable the bad: no internal storage space for the USB dongle misc: - compatible with the new wireless charging mat (not included) overall: I am personally a big fan of Logitech peripherals, including their mice. This G703 Hero is no exception. Fast response, accurate, well balanced, and good battery life. I like to game, but I don't exactly like some of the flashy "gaming" style that some manufacturers go for. The understated rgb lights on the "G" logo on the palm rest and the wheel are nice touches. Easy 5 stars for me.

Comfortable to use, very responsive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having used Logitech M510's for the past 10 years, it was time for a new mouse. It's an adjustment going to a right handed mouse but this one is great. Compared to the G Pro, I appreciate the extra weight and height. PROS: +Lightweight, but includes an optional weight for those used to heavier mice +Comfortable to use, added height at the back for control +Rubberized grippy sides +Extremely fast response, smooth motion +Rechargeable via USB cable CONS: -Still uses Micro USB instead of type C -Scroll wheel not as firm as G Pro -Full price is excessive, though these often go on sale

Good quality wireless mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are dead set on a wireless mouse and don't really need a whole bunch of programmable buttons, the G703 is a very, very good choice. The mouse features 6 buttons, enough for most of us casual gamers, but not so many as to be confusing, the optical sensor is the same one used in the high end G903 and you have the ability to purchase a charging mouse pad that I hear works extremely well (even though I have not tried it). There is no lag and no interference from any of my other wireless devices. This mouse glides smoothly on the mouse pad, requiring little effort. The buttons are very good, maybe a little mushy compared to some, but I still think they are very good. I have no issues with this mouse and love using it as a gaming mouse and for normal everyday use. The mouse comes with a charging cable and usb adapter, but if you decide to purchase the charging pad, you won't use either of these. If you are not into programming a button for every feature of agame, but want a mouse that is as fast as any wired mouse without dealing with a cord, this is the mouse you need and I can highly recommend it.

Works GREAT!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced another wireless mouse with the Logitech G703 Hero. The prior mouse had issues of going to sleep for anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds while gaming, which is not conducive to a good k/d ratio. ZERO complaints about the G703. I just received it today, and spent the afternoon gaming - purely in the spirit of research, of course. I had no dropouts whatsoever. The mouse performed well, and made for a good experience. The G703 has a great feel to it - light, but not too light, in the hand. It also has adjustable movement speed so that I can select the movement speed that works best for me, as everyone is different in their preferences. I highly recommend this mouse. No lag, no issues, A solid wireless mouse that helps remove clutter from your desk.

This is a high quality, very accurate mouse.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SET-UP Set-up was very simple. After plugging in the small USB receiver, Windows takes control and installs drivers for basic functionality. Initially, I was very disappointed with the performance of the mouse. The default Windows drivers and mouse options offered very inferior performance compared to my go-to Logitech MX1100. Finding a quick and simple place to download the Logitech software from the website proved very frustrating. However, once I went back to the directions (who would have thought to read those??), I found the proper URL for the necessary GHUB software. After installation, things were immediately different and the mouse had a whole new personality. The GHUB software is mandatory to get the most and best experiences from the mouse. It allows you to fully customize the interactions from lighting to resolution, assigned buttons, macros, report rates etc. USE Once the GHUB software was configured to my tastes, this mouse has been very enjoyable to use. The mouse has a premium feel. The optional 10g weight was much needed and a welcome addition. Button clicks are smooth with just the right feel and resistance. The scroll wheel has the perfect amount of resistance and is smooth and consistent. It is obvious that Logitech spent a great deal of time and effort in the design, ergonomics, and functionality. The mouse is nearly infinitely customizable. The buttons, scroll wheel, lighting effects, resolution, report rate can all be changed and tailored to support your needs and wants. The GHUB software makes programming the different options simple and straightforward. While I don’t find the software instantly intuitive, it is easy to learn and offers many options for the user. I really appreciate how changes the user makes to the mouse instantly reflects in the GHUB software. For example, I had the report rate set at the default of 1000x/second. After and extended gaming session, the mouse was draining the battery fairly rapidly. I switched to 125x/second and the software immediately re-estimated my remaining battery life and current draw. Very slick. CONS While I am still getting used to the new size of the mouse, I do really miss the size and heft of my MX1100. I have been using that mouse for years and am really accustomed to the weight and feel and am sure it will be the same with the mouse as I continue to use it. The GHUB software is good, but it is a weird experience too. The software has to load in order to get the mouse configured correctly. Until it fully loads into memory, the mouse uses the basic Windows drivers and is not very responsive or user friendly. Granted this is only for the first few seconds after Windows boots, but the switch from the basic Windows drivers to the GHUB software is abrupt and I constantly lose the mouse pointer. If I had more patience, this wouldn’t be an issue, but I don’t have a great deal of patience. The same scenario occurs when the mouse goes to sleep too. It conveniently dims the lights after 1 minute of inactivity and goes to sleep after 5 minutes. Upon wake up, there is an awkward transition from Windows drivers to GHUB. To be fair, this can be reduced or eliminated by changing the sleep times in the GHUB software. But, this would also affect battery life. FINAL THOUGHTS I really like this product. Even with my impatience regarding the software, it doesn’t diminish my opinion of the product. The mouse has an excellent, premium feel. In addition to the wireless features, it includes a charging/direct wire cable, should it be needed. Dimming the lighting to 80% and slowing the report rate to 125x/second gives me about 50 hours of battery life per charge. Having the option of using the included hardwired cable or the optional wireless charging pad are great features. I have found this mouse not only works great for gaming, but is also super precise and a great fit for photo editing. It is far more accurate than my MX1100. Highly recommended.

Super responsive!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best mouse I have personally purchased for my PC. It is incredibly responsive, no lag at all! It preformed perfectly for me while playing games on my laptop. It connected right away and I was able to customize my button settings as well the light color. I quite like the extra weight you can add to the bottom of the mouse giving it a heftier feel. This Logitech mouse is a great addition to playing PC online games for me!

Smooth and comfortable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is very easy to setup. Just attach the included USB cable and it begins charging. You can download the optional software to control the mouse speed and lighting effects of the logo. It works great wired and once charged, just unplug and attach the cable to the wireless doggle. If the battery runs low, just attach to charge and keep on gaming. The optional weight is a plus. I like it and it makes it feels more stable. All the buttons have a smooth feel and it works great for gaming or everyday computing task.

Very Accurate. Nice gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You might think: what is the difference between the gaming mouse and any mouse. Well, the difference is big! The accuracy of this G703 is amazing. The resolution is indeed above any regular computer mouse. The size is good for gaming. Feeling just right in the hand. The clicks are solid and exact with very good travel and kind of low noise. I tried it on several type of surfaces with no issues at all. By the way, I have the weight inserted in it. I like it heavy for better feeling. The scroll is perfect and the scroll click is very good. Also, the regular featured extra buttons are all good and working as supposed to. With this mouse there is no jumping feeling or struggle to get it accurate. It can be used as wireless or just as wired mouse. I use it wireless until the battery went low (the scroll light will flash red) and then plugged the wire directly in it. It is an amazing idea so you don't stop using it. Charging time is very short. In almost 20 min it was steady green light. I was reading on forums about Logitech gaming software to turn off the lights on the mouse. I tried to install it but for some reason it didn't work. I am not bothered by it any ways. I will look at it later. Overall, it is indeed a good gaming mouse that also can be used for designing purposes. I'd really recommend getting it if you look for a stylish and accurate computer mouse. Again, while the size might be a little big for some people, it is just the perfect for me. P.S.: it is a regular USB device. It will work just fine with most computers and OS that are supporting USB drivers.

Good Mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great grip scroll wheel is click and can scroll with ease the mouse buttons on the side are fairly big but thin enough to not to bug you or irritate you when you grip it on the side the sensitive button is minimal and can't be accidentally pressed the RGB are minimal but presence so it can be enjoyed by those who have that itch and decent weight with a detachable magnetic weight unfortunately like other mouses that have seperate small weights in the magnet its with or without no minor adjustments.

Super responsive and customizable
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am impressed with this mouse. Logitech continues to create great products. I own a few of their devices. When unboxing, I appreciated the ease and organization of the packaging. May not sound like much, but they obviously put thought into it. The cord that is used for both connectivity and charging is more than sufficient in length, probably about 5 feet, and could easily be routed so that it is hidden or stretched for when you are sitting back from a monitor. Once charged, the battery lasted about 4 hours of continuous average use. It recharged quickly but did so while plugged in and in use. After installing the software, the responsiveness was greatly improved as it was customizable for my use. I was also able to change the colors on the scroller as well as the logo under my hand. From a solid color to multiple colors and patterns, it is a cool feature to play with. The buttons can be fully customized for your favorite game or programs. The standard settings worked just fine for my initial testing and use and I’ll certainly be trying these out further over time. I’d highly recommend this mouse for gaming and general application use. I found it to be one of the better ones I have ever owned.

So Awesome
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was super excited to try the G703 out for gaming. Received it in the mail and couldn't wait it set up. Feels great in hand with the 10g weight. The RGB is customizable through the Ghub app as well as the DPI which can be laggy computer slow to unnecessary fast. Playing GTA V with it has been a great experience. The price is very reasonable too

Nice, sleek, and precise
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G703 is very smooth and comfortable while using it. The package comes with a wireless mouse, USB adapter, wireless receiver, 10 gram weight, and a tangle free usb cable. The one thing I notice about the mouse that it’s bigger than your average mouse almost double the size. There is a “G” logo that changes colors something that I thought looked cool while not in use. You can program the 6 buttons, change the lighting and scrolling to your liking. I didn’t download the optional app to use the pre sets for customization so I cannot comment on that. I like that mouse is very smooth and quiet. I didn’t really mess with the setting to customize it since I think it was nice as it is, I understand the price might be steep but this mouse feels good, looks durable and it’s easy to use. I’ve been playing gta 5 online (I know who plays that anymore) and it works great! I would recommend for any entry level gamer as it’s a solid mouse. You can use it wirelessly or with usb. Either way it’s very stylish and comfortable which is a win win for me already.
