I have had multiple gaming mice over the years with many being Logitech. Compared to my previous Logitech and more recent Corsair gaming mouse this one feels very lightweight. Even with the weight disc inserted it still feels much lighter than my other gaming mice. This may be more of a pro than a con for some people so take it how you will for your personal preference. It has great features though and the LED lighting is pretty cool and able to be configured via the app. The DPI settings can be adjusted on the fly via a button on the mouse if needed during a heated match. The biggest pro for me and why I prefer this one to my other ones is that it is wireless! No cords to keep getting in the way and freedom to cover a large amount of real estate on my gaming mousepad. Overall it functions very well for gaming or even general surfing or video editing. The wireless is also a great perk and as long as you can get over how light weight it is then it is an overall very solid mouse.

Great lighting, speaking of lights, it is very lightweight. Made me wonder if a battery or something was needed, but no. Seems to be very accurate on a variety of surfaces so it was great with my laptop. Also the options available for it are pretty cool too.

Generally I would say a mouse is a mouse. Well that was before I had a really nice gaming mouse. As much as I tried, I could not find anything I didn't like about this mouse. It fits perfectly in my hand, has great button sensitivity, looks great, and has great battery power. I was surprised at how effortless it was to point and click, not that it was super hard before but now it's like nothing. No stumbling, no intense double clicking. Wonderful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a reliable, cool-looking, ergonomic mouse for both work and play.

Great Wireless Mouse - With one minor drawback

This is a great wireless mouse for gaming and general workload. The ability to change tracking speed on the mouse with the center assignment button is great for gaming/productivity. Charging it is a breeze and I never notice any latency when gaming. It is nice to not be restricted by a cable when moving quickly around in First person shooters and the like. Reason I gave 4 stars is there is no USB Transceiver storage on the mouse. It is completely external and if you use it both for a desktop and on the road laptop you can easily forget to grab the transceiver and be out of luck. There looks to be plenty of room for them to install a slot on the mouse for it so that would be the only improvement I would recommend. Other than that a great mouse!

This mouse fits my hand quite well, has as many programmable buttons as I'll ever use, and the battery life/customization is great for the price. Got it on sale for around $63 and plan to hang onto it for the foreseeable future.

I'm a huge fan of Logitech and their products. Unfortunately a common theme with their mice is that they don't last very long. The G703 suffers from the double click issue because of the cheap switches they use. Additionally, I also ran into an issue with the scroll wheel about 3-4 months of use. One thing I will praise is that it has a great sensor, so if you enjoy playing FPS games for example, this is a great mouse. However, if you want something to last you for more than a year, look elsewhere because as long as Logitech continues to use their cheap switches, these things just don't last. For reference, I've used the G203, G403, G502, G703 and the G Pro. The longest I've had a mouse last is almost 2 years, but the rest of them ran into issues within 6 months. Worst part is that the Logitech Customer Support is on-par with one of the worst I've had to deal with. They're fully aware that their mice have these issues, so they intentionally make it difficult if you ever try to start a RMA. The one time I was successful the process took 2 months. Unbelievable right? Bottom line: This is a fantastic mouse in terms of performance, but they are not built to last. If you don't mind paying $50-100 every year on a new mouse, go for it. Otherwise, save yourself some money and the headache of dealing with these breaking.

    Excellent mouse (first impressions)

It's the new year so I figured it was time to bench my faithful g502 mouse in favor of something more agile. There are absolutely a ton of wireless mice on the market and they all have they're own special qualities (and malfunctions). For my preferences, I just wanted something comfortable (I prefer right-handed claw grip), and good sensor tracking is a must. Pros: 1: Thankfully this is built with an optical sensor up to 16000 DPI and I have no issues like mouse acceleration or jitters. 2: It is comfortable, and easy to palm grip as well as claw grip. The mouse is not slippery but it glides on a mouse pad smooth as butter. 3: Clicks are crisp and a bit easier than on the g502. 4: It charges very quickly with the included cable. The software says I have approximately 43 hours after a full charge. 5: Includes RGB LED lighting, but only on the mouse wheel and the logo. You essentially won't notice it if your hand is on the mouse. Cons: 1: Mouse wheel does not have left/right clicks, nor does it include a lock button for smooth gliding. (this is a feature available on other logitech mice) 2: Requires a software to take full advantage of the features and adjustments. (Does include on-board memory with up to five profiles)

I was pleasantly surprised in the quality, weight, and attention to detail. This is my new best mouse. The way it charges and is still usable is superb. The connector is the best I have seen or used for this type. The precision is great and the RGB effects are spot on. I am now looking to Logitech for all of my gaming needs.

This mouse is awesome! Love it for gaming on my PC. Perfect response. The clicks are smooth, and feel great. Battery life was something I was concerned about, but it lasts for a long time! Also, it charges fully in only like an hour. Love it. All in all, highly recommended.

Upgraded from G402 which is bought around 5 years ago to this one, the feel is much better! Even though they look similar. And the wireless feature made my FPS game experience so confident! I love it!

Obviously if your looking at this mouse you are here for the higher end gaming type mouse. So far this mouse does not disappoint. Look and feel is similar to the last model and feels great in the hand. The RGB lighting is always a great touch and can be turned off all together. The battery charges up quickly and seems to last forever, you will almost forget its rechargeable until it reminds you that the battery is low. The weight of the mouse is adjustable to your liking which is a great touch. Running the mouse through the trenches and it performs well with whatever you throw out it. Be sure to download the software to get the full potential and button programming. My G403 is still ticking and would assume this unit will do the same if treated nicely.

Very smooth and feels even better when you add in the weight that comes with the mouse. Easy to use and overall has a good feel to it. I originally got the g502 lightspeed but it was too bulky feeling and so I returned it for this mouse and like it so much better.

Two of them broke for different reasons

The first G703 had a scroll wheel issue which was a well-covered topic about two years ago. The last one had a perfect scroll wheel but the right mouse button switch is an absolute nightmare. Gaming is impossible. Not just annoying - impossible. Even normal tasks... dragging files with a right click, forget about it. Bought a Roccat instead and no issues. One star for ergonomics, one for software. If you get this, make sure you have the warranty on standby and a protection plan unless you change your mouse once a year for $100.

Hi dinosaurparts, Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear about your issues with the G703 gaming mouse. Logitech takes great pains to develope and design their gaming products to the highest standards, but there are outliers that slip through the cracks despite our best efforts. We hope that you will decide to try Logitech again in the future, perhaps a different mouse like our Pro Wireless or Pro Wired series which are built specifically to the recommendations of our pro gamers. Thank you again for choosing Logitech.

I bought this mouse and out of the box the scroll wheel and left mouse click weren't working consistently. Sometimes mouse clicks weren't registering, sometimes the scroll wheel wouldn't register and would make weird noises while it did it. Logitech didn't want to warranty the product so I got a new one from BestBuy. Six months later the new g703 was doing the same thing however it never made the weird noises the previous mouse's scroll wheel made. So I called Logitech Warranty again and they wouldn't do anything about the mouse. I love how quick it charges and how it feels in my hand but the quality and support Logitech gives this product are very low. If I could go back in time and stop myself from buying this mouse I would.

Hi Maxthepaco, thank you for sharing your experience with the G703. I'm sorry that you had 2 mice that had the same issue with the left click not registering. I'm sorry that the limited hardware warranty on the G703 did not cover the problem you were experiencing. I hope you are able to find a mouse that works for you! Thank you for being a Logitech customer. Kristi from Logitech

After the 1st month It had double clicking issues, on top of that about a week after the double clicking issue began I woke up one morning and the scroll wheel was broken. The middle mouse button would not work, and every scroll cycle the mouse would do a clicking thing and slant to the side. I went to logitech support about this and they told me to try unplugging the mouse and updating the software even though this was a hardware issue. I explained that it was a hardware issue and they told me to open a warranty claim ticket which I spent the next 6 hours trying to figure out how to open a warranty claim ticket with my parents. I never ended up finding out how to open one and thought whatever, I don't use middle mouse button that often ill just wait a few months with this one and get a new one at a later date because I just spent $70 on this. 2 month later and just this morning I woke up and now the whole scroll wheel is not working including scroll function. Its almost like it sunk into the mouse. Funny thing is I had these same exact problems with my razer mouse which is what led to me to get this mouse, and I have always been extremely careful with my mouse as I don't receive money often as I am a teenager with no job. Extremely disappointed.

      Hello Charlie,
I am sorry that your new G703 is not performing as expected. This type of hardware failure is peculiar, and I have almost not heard of it, and my only guess is that you may have gotten a defective unit. Please, reach out to the Logitech support team and use the chat option to make the process easier for you. The support team will provide you with a replacement unit if it is determined that the issue was caused due to a manufacturing defect. Logitech appreciates your product input. https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393
