Many also appreciate its lightweight design and wireless functionality, along with the customizable RGB lighting. Sound and communication in video games is huge these days! You want to be immersed in what you are playing by hearing every detail, or be able to easily chat with those you are playing with. The Logitech G733 are a fantastic wireless option that covers those needs! PROS: - Out of the box, this Gaming Headset looks great! For their price point, the headphones still look like nice high end devices. And really you don't even need to read the manual to figure out how easy they are to use. - The lights are a great touch! It makes them so unique and I like how you can buy different straps if you want to to further personalize them. - I can't stress enough how comfy these are! The padding around the ear, the strap to keep it on your head, everything just works really well together to make for a light feeling on your head while still making sure the sound is for just you to hear. - All you do it plug in the USB receiver into your device, turn on the headphones, and its ready to go! Very impressed with how quickly it is to connect right out of the box. - I really like how the microphone on this. It sounds great when using it, is nice and flexible for moving it around, and you can detach/attach the mic very easily. It's just nice as gamers are not always talking when they are playing so its easy to just take off. - The audio quality really impressed me! Once again, it's price point would make you think the sound will just be average but I found the sound to be crisp, the bass shaking, and just a real feel of being immersed in what you are listening to, watching, or of course playing. - Lastly, I did use these on a PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch and had a great experience on all devices! It's really nice how the USB receiver makes it easy to switch from device to device without having to unpair like you would with Bluetooth, but then you get a stronger connection speed with this vs Bluetooth. CONS: - My biggest issue is the Logitech G Hub Software. You are supposed to download this software from the Logitech website to set up options but I had a difficult time doing so. After a quick Google search I found that other users have the same issue as me. The G Hub is supposed to be how you really fine tune these headphones and I never had the chance before writing this. I hope Logitech can fix this! - I wish the USB receiver came with a USB-C adapter with it. A lot of devices are moving towards USB-C so this would be an easy thing to include with the headphones. - They are a bit bulky at times. I know that is typically the style with these headphones but I wish they were a bit more slim fitting. BOTTOM LINE: - If you are looking for a pair of high end wireless gaming headphones but don't want to break the bank, the Logitech G733 are an excellent choice! The have great personalization options, the surround sound is impressive, microphone quality is very clear, and the battery lasts all day. I think as soon as you try them out. you'll enjoy them as much as I have!

    Decent Gamer Headset

About the G733 Headset The Logitech G733 is a mid-priced gamer headset that can be used with PC, Mac, or Playstation 4. It’s really lightweight and designed for comfort. This headset utilizes lightspeed wireless technology for a low latency connection, and it has a feature called Blue Voice which fine tunes your vocal qualities so that others can hear you clearly. Sound quality gets a boost with its DTS Headphone X 2.0 surround sound. All settings are managed through the G-Hub gaming software. What it Comes With There’s not much to it. You get the headphones with memory phone ear pads already attached. There’s a larger USB receiver to plug into your computer for connection. A roughly 6 foot USB A to USB C cord is provided for charging. Lastly, there is a detachable microphone. The Set-up Setting up is quick and easy. Plug the USB receiver into your computer to install the connection. Turn on the headphones and start using. To take full advantage of the headset, install the G-Hub software and personalize your settings. You can do things like change the forward facing light colors and modes, set you Blue Voice vocal settings, create custom EQ settings, and tune your DTS X 2.0 settings. My Impressions of the Headset Sound – The sound is good. Having the DTS X 2.0 surround sound mode makes the gaming experience immersible. It has deep bass and clear mid-range. Using the headphones for music, they are not quite as high-end as other headphones that I own. Blue Voice – This feature lets you fine tune the vocal qualities of your voice when you speak into the microphone. I found that it worked pretty well. There are some custom presets that are easy to try. You can also adjust individually if you’d like. This helps to control clarity instead of just the volume. Microphone – The detachable microphone is interesting. What’s really cool is that it bends and stays in place. I liked that quite a bit. What I don’t like is that it is detachable, so you could lose it. Also, there microphone plug is only on the left-hand side. It doesn’t reverse like another headset I have. Comfort – This headset is really comfortable. The ear pads are big enough that my ear fits inside of them. The memory foam is great, and the headband makes it really comfortable on the top without a lot of pressure on my head. They are also really lightweight which takes some of the stress off of your neck. Lighting Effects – There wasn’t much to the front facing lights. You can change the color, and there were a few preset modes. Mostly, it was broken up into top and bottom lights. They are not controlled separately from left and right. This is managed in the G-Hub software. G-Hub Software – This is Logitech’s software to control its gaming hardware line-up. You can use it to control multiple items at the same time. As for the headset, this was my least favorite thing about the headphones. I found the software to be clunky and buggy. It had 3 errors the first time that I used it. For example, I created an EQ setting and renamed it for personalization. The software would not update the name. Second, the G-Hub on-screen battery reading did not match the verbal power level that the headphones stated. They varied by as much as 9%. Last, the volume scroll on the headphones wouldn’t work. I restarted my computer, and the volume scroll started working. It just wasn’t an impressive experience. I have used other manufactures’ software, and like theirs better. I’m giving the G733 headset by Logitech 4 stars. The sound quality is good and the comfort is great. I am not impressed with the G-Hub software and did have a few bugs with it off the bat. If Logitech could improve this, shrink the size of its USB receiver, and do more with the front facing lights these could be a 5 star product. Overall though, it does the big things right: good sound and great comfort.

Logitech continues to impress in the headphone market with their new wireless, RGB, gaming headphones. The G733 model is a good upgrade from the past models I have owned not only because of the sound and wireless features but the comfort, lighting effects and additional customization features through their app. After the initial charge and first use, I immediately noticed how comfortable they were on. They adjusted very easily, did not have any pressure points on my head and were not hot on my ears because of the cushions they have. The headphones come with a removable bendable microphone as well as a standard USB dongle as they are not Bluetooth wireless. The headphones are also available in additional colors however I stuck with black. After installing and launching the Logitech application on my laptop which can manage most of their devices, I played the test tone that allows you to experience the amazing 7.1 surround sound which really sounded like speakers all around you with clear sound and good bass. The test tone on the application also played an audio sample you would expect from a AAA game followed by a musical test which were both pretty impressive. The only gripe I had was the highs sounded a little flat until I went through the application to turn the treble up. The RGB lighting effects were fun to mess with however not really my style and would rather save the additional power it might consume. After using it for gaming on my laptop, I tried it out on my Sony Playstation 4 Pro and surprisingly it was a simple plug and play without having to download any additional drivers or another app. I have tried to use other third-party wireless headphones on the Playstation in the past and they were not compatible. The battery seems to last much longer than some of the previous wireless gaming headphones I have used. My favorite part of these is the fact they are wireless. They are very responsive and in sync to what you are using them for and the volume adjustment on the headphones is also an added bonus. Overall, I think these are going to be my new go to headphones for gaming and love the fact they can replace all of the other headsets I use on all my devices instead of having to switch them around. They may not be the best sounding headphones I’ve ever used but at this price point with this amount of features, good sound, great comfort and wireless capabilities I believe they are well worth the investment.

Hi Grouticus. Wow, what a fantastic and in-depth review! Well done. I love how you went into your concerns and the solutions you found, which worked out for you. So happy to hear about your joy and passion for quality gaming. This is one of our first wireless headphones which utilizes our Lightspeed wireless technology. If you do not care much for RGB, and want even bigger sound, you may like the PRO-X Wireless with larger 50mm drivers. Although it costs considerably more. Thank you for the articulated review. - Will, Logitech G.

These are very good headphones designed specifically with gamers in mind. Lightweight (just 10oz) and extremely comfortable - these are perfect for a long game nights. Inner headband is adjustable to maximize comfort and fit head of any size. Ear cups position can be adjusted as well. Ear cushions are easily removable and replaceable. Controls are super simple - volume dial, mute and power buttons. RGB lights up front are designed to bring individual look to your "game face". Sound quality is fantastic! My little gamer was able to perfectly hear people sneaking up from behind in "War zone" - that is not possible with just the laptop speakers. Battery life is sufficient for a whole day play and even when battery is low - headphones can be plugged in with a 6' USB-C cable and continue to work while charing. Couple points to improve: - microphone boom can only be installed on the left side (it can be removed if not in use, but can't be plugged into the right side). - USB transmitter that goes into computer is kinda big and sticks out if you play on a laptop... it's USB-A only. - headphones are designed to be used for gaming only, there is no Bluetooth connectivity or a 3.5mm jack for music. Overall - it's a great choice for a dedicated gaming headset.

I love this headset for PC gaming. After unboxing the headset I realized just how light they are. They are completely made from plastic but they seem premium at the same time. I have all Logitech lightspeed products, speakers, keyboard, mouse and mouse pad. So these fit in perfect. The sound on COD is so good, I can hear foot steps perfectly coming up behind me. My buddies say they can hear me clearly during game chat and in the lobby. There is not a whole lot of adjustments that can be made as far as fit. You can adjust the elastic headband down one notch which should help those with smaller heads. You can also reverse the headband for a different look, and order more from Logitech for a completely different style. Inside the G Hub you can adjust the acoustics, volume, mic, side tone and enable advanced EQ for precise tuning with an EQ. You also can configure the surround sound and select, entertainment, gaming, and sports profiles. You can adjust the volume at each position, left, right, front, back, left, right ect... I increased the volume of the two rear channels to help with footsteps in COD. There is also a DTS setting, front, wide, and traditional. I changed mine to wide, I think its the best setting for me. YMMV. These are rated for 29 hours of continuous play but come with a USB C charging cable that is around 6 feet so you can easily play and charge at the same time. I can recommend this headset as they are budget minded but still great quality.

Straight up, these are some of the most comfortable and effective headsets I've tried to date. You can plug in the receiver, turn on the headphones, and just go. I was all but completely convinced at the quality of the set after sampling a few DTS videos on YouTube. I didn't think that at this price point I would be able to...feel...a sound at a specific point in space around my person. If it's a ping pong ball bouncing, bullets being fired, a crash in the distance, or anything else you can imagine, the sound and precision of the location will get your attention. It's seriously impressive. The comfort is spot on. The set fit my head (average/smaller sized head) straight away. They are noticeably light, and the memory foam ear surrounds make it easy to wear during long sessions. It’s also worth noting that I didn't feel my ears get warm during extended periods either. The noise canceling microphone is not only efficient but very durable. When attached it looks like it's a permanent piece to the headset. It is flexible and rigid enough to stay in place when it's at your desired shape/angle. And you can easily take it out and put it to the side if you have no need for it at the moment. And last, but not least, there are instructions provided in the packaging on exactly how to replace the rechargeable battery when the time comes. I can't tell you how much that is appreciated. This is a great set and I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a headset in this price range. The sound features and comfort will win you over real fast.

    Good Sounding but Lacking Base

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Logitech G733 Lightspeed is a good sounding headset for a not-so-expensive but somewhat expensive headset. It is great for gaming, weather it is the surround sound, or the low latency wireless, the G733 can do it all. It can produce a high range of sounds from 5db to 22KHz and above. Though it severely lacks base, it does well in higher frequency noise. The detachable mic is crisp and more than great for chatting on discord while gaming, and with the very customizable Blue Vo!ce integrated software in Logitech G Hub software. The software is great wheather personalizing the lighting and eq, or the mute button on the side. The headphones are very personalizable with 3 base colors, black, white, and blue and 4 head straps. Because of its proprietarystick it can only be used on an android device with an adapter. It does not support Xbox, but does support the PS4, and maybe the PS5. The headset is very comfy and can last me hours on end, more than 7 hours without hurting. The lipo lithium ion battery can last you 21 hours on end without the lighting, enough to pull an all nighter. Overall a great headset for gamers, not the best for console gamers or mobile users, though I have to say, it was only intended for pc gamers. Though it is missing features I would perfer, like pounding bass and bluetooth capabilities. Logitech did a great job on these. I would highly recommend these to pc gamers, or streamers, who play a few hours a day and cannot have much compromise.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Logitech G733 headphones, and I must say, these headphones are nothing short of exceptional. From their striking design to their impressive sound quality, the G733 headphones have become my go-to choice for an immersive audio experience. First and foremost, the design of the G733 is a head-turner. The lightweight and sleek construction, coupled with the customizable, reversible headbands, allow users to express their style while ensuring a comfortable fit. The range of vibrant and eye-catching color options adds a playful touch without compromising on the headset's overall sophistication. When it comes to performance, the G733 headphones truly shine. The Pro-G audio drivers deliver a rich and detailed sound profile, whether you're deep into a gaming session or enjoying your favorite music genres. The audio clarity is remarkable, and the virtual surround sound enhances the overall immersive experience, providing a sense of depth and directionality that adds a new dimension to games and movies. The wireless connectivity is seamless, and the low-latency Lightspeed technology ensures that there's no compromise in performance, even in the heat of intense gaming moments. The freedom to move without being tethered to a cable is a game-changer, and the wireless range is more than sufficient for most usage scenarios. The battery life of the G733 is another standout feature. With up to 20 hours of playtime on a single charge, these headphones keep up with extended gaming sessions, movie marathons, or long workdays without missing a beat. The convenience of USB-C charging adds to the overall user-friendly experience. The G733 headphones also feature a high-quality, detachable microphone with advanced filters that effectively reduce background noise, ensuring clear communication during multiplayer gaming or video calls. The flexibility to remove the microphone when it's not needed adds to the versatility of these headphones. Comfort is a key factor, especially for extended use, and the G733 excels in this regard. The lightweight design, plush memory foam ear cups, and adjustable headband create a comfortable fit that remains enjoyable even during prolonged wear. In conclusion, the Logitech G733 headphones have earned my wholehearted recommendation. Their combination of stunning design, exceptional audio quality, wireless convenience, and comfort make them a top-tier choice for gamers, music enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a high-quality audio experience. Logitech has truly set a new standard with the G733, and if you're in the market for premium wireless headphones, these are a fantastic investment.

Most headsets I've tried fit loose and slip around on my head or just feel big, but I found this one to be the perfect fit. I also have multiple peircings in my ears and I haven't had any irritation even after playing for hours. Love the battery life on these and my friends say the mic quality is good. As a professional in video editing and a passionate gamer, I'm always on the hunt for gear that can seamlessly transition between my work and play. The Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset, which I picked up from Best Buy, has been an absolute game-changer for me. Why the Logitech G733 Gets a Full 5 Stars: Wireless Perfection: The LIGHTSPEED technology is nothing short of impressive. The zero-lag wireless experience is crucial for both my video editing precision and in-game reactions. Sound Quality That Stands Out: The audio clarity is phenomenal. Whether I'm editing a video or immersed in a game, the sound fidelity is crisp, clear, and incredibly balanced. Unmatched Comfort: Spending hours in front of my computer, the comfort of my headset is non-negotiable. The G733 is like a feather on my head but still provides excellent noise isolation and a snug fit. Durability Meets Design: I love the sleek black look of this headset. It's not just lightweight; it's also built to last, which is great considering the daily use it gets in my studio and during gaming sessions. Versatility at Its Best: Its compatibility with PS4 and PC is a huge plus for me. It’s one less hassle to worry about when switching between editing software and games. Long Battery Life: The extended battery life is a blessing. I can go through most of my workday and a gaming session without having to worry about recharging. Professional Yet Playful Aesthetics: It sits professionally on my editing desk and doesn't look out of place during a gaming live stream. It's the best of both worlds. Final Thoughts: The Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED isn't just a headset; it's an integral part of my daily routine. It has surpassed my expectations in every aspect - from its stellar performance in professional video editing to providing an immersive gaming experience. If you're someone who juggles between creative work and gaming, this headset is definitely worth considering. Highly recommended for its outstanding performance, comfort, and versatility!

For comparison, I had originally owned the G935 prior to this and decided it was too clamping and heavy for work and gaming use all day - plus the battery left a lot to be desired. Switching over to the MUCH lighter and far more comfortable G733 here was the way to go. I've found the only measurable sacrifice has been the 50mm drivers vs the 733's 40mm. Bass, it's a tad lacking in comparison - but with manual EQ settings changes, it works well enough to save.. $70 over buying the Pro X wireless. That's super minor gripe #1 for those keeping count. The other minor issue, gripe #2, I will say the volume wheel on the earcup feels cheap. It doesn't click every turn and feels like cheap plastic and is spongy when turning. Odd to try and describe - but it's the only build quality complaint I have. The re-programmable mute works perfectly in place of a flip-up mic here, and it's textured to tell apart - and the power button is on the bottom. I will say, I was worried the sound would leak from these but the insides of the ear pads have the pleather lining to prevent, whereas the rest of the ear padding is foam covered breathable fabric. A nicely thought out detail. And oh man, are these extremely comfortable for three reasons: thick memory foam earcups covered in fabric, super lightweight but extremely flexible plastic body, and of course the fabric ski band across the top. Next to zero clamping feeling on these - super easy to wear for hours without issue. Regarding the mic - I've seen people complain of the quality in early reviews. And the only thing I can think is no one had messed about with the blue voice plugin or windows settings for quality - because I have absolutely ZERO issues with clarity and volume. Everyone on web calls noticed that I had switched from my old wired headset to this on the same day. Also had used on Discord with no complaint. Plus my test recordings were crystal clear. So, we can put that issue to bed. Especially given the specifications between the 733 and Pro X are identical. It's the same mic folks. I recommend the broadcast 2 preset setting. It is detachable, so that's great. As I had stated before, there is a mute switch in leu of a flip-up mic - a design change, but again - the Pro X didn't go with that 933/935 flip-up either. Just a matter of preference here. Overall 4.5 out of 5 - wish they allowed half stars here. Highly recommended.

First time buying a wireless gaming headset. Found this one open box and have been very happy with it so far. The sound is exactly the same as my Logitech headset that I previously had so there was no extra adjustment time. It was recognized right away in G-Hub. The range is pretty good on it too so it’s nice being able to walk around my room and still hear my friends in discord or whatever YouTube video I may be watching. The microphone isn’t the best, but that may be partly because I didn’t turn on the blue voice settings in G-Hub. I don’t really need the microphone though, because I use a Blue Yeti, so I took it off. Battery life is decent. I try to charge it overnight using my ps5 since I leave it in rest mode, but it usually won’t charge all the way and I end up needing to leave it plugged it when I turn everything on. It charges fast though so it’s not a big deal to me. I could probably find a better way to charge it. The sound quality is pretty good. There’s not really much of any noise cancellation though, so if you’re in a noisy room or area, you’re still going to hear most of what’s going on around you. I like that I can tap the power button when using it and it will tell me the battery percentage. I love how it feels on my head and there is an adjustable head band which I needed to use since my head is a little larger. It is also very lightweight. Hopefully this headset will last me for years to come.
