That is what all the reviews I read led me to be believe, and they didn't let me (him) down. He loves it and I'm so glad I spent a little extra and bought him the Logitech.

Only downfall is it doesn't have programmable buttons for the regular remotes left and right push in buttons. (Forza games)

Additionally, the brake pedal is very difficult to use due to an unnecessary rubber stopper inside the device. On other reviews, it is recommended by users to remove the rubber stopper, I found that this was true as I used a friend's device that had this modification made to it. That device worked much better. For a product at this price level, the user shouldn't have to modify the device to get a better experience. I do not recommend this product unless you are willing to put in the footwork to modify it.

Takes some getting used to as I've been a keyboard gamer my whole life. Recommend getting a stand as it makes it easier to move out of the way when playing other games.

I would have given it 5 stars but the gear shift had to be bought separate. It does have the paddle shifter on the wheel , but had issues shifting while doing a rolling restart .
