Excellent driving for PC and Xbox One

Plays Steam and Xbox One games perfectly. There is some adjustment necessary for each person’s preference but excellent item.

The force feedback is intense and can be overpowering in some situations. Love the fact that the wheel centers itself for you. Brake pedal is a little stiff which prevents you from pressing down all the way unless you squat 500 lbs.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Coming from a Microsoft Force Feedback wheel on my Xbox 360, I'm super excited to virtually drive with a quality wheel on the Xbox One. Pros: Very sturdy with some leather-like material wrapped around the wheel. The wheel feels smooth with just the right amount of force feedback without making you feel like you have to fight back. Using it with Forza Motorsports 6 I've had zero problems and it just works. Con: Even though the foot petal base is large and relatively heavy, it still wants to move on carpet while driving intensely. The clutch petal and brake petal are just a tad to close and wearing sneakers has me hitting both petals when I want to brake. I end up wearing slimmer dress shoes just to drive. Undecided: The brake pedal moves about 40% of the way before it hits a rubber stopper, making that last bit of the brake pedal really hard to smash down and incredibly difficult to achieve 100% brake pressure. I am not sure if this is a feature, or an annoyance, but I will simply say that it keeps me from locking up my brakes So it does help...until I truly need to apply the brakes hard, then not so much. Verdict: So is this a good piece of equipment? I would say yes. I have had tons of fun with this and it makes Forza Motorsports 6 that much more of a joy to play.

I've seen a lot of complaints about the brake pedal on this set, but for my casual purposes it seems to work just fine, just takes a bit of break-in time.

I've really only played World of Outlaws with it so far. I would suggest doing your research on what games it's best with and get your settings figured out. I tried fh5 and snowrunner with mixed results. But again it may all be in my settings. I run a little less force feedback just for longevity. Overall very happy with it

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m getting close to 40 and don’t play Xbox very often anymore but when I do get a chance (maybe three times a month) I want to really have a good time and immerse myself in a good story or simulation game. I’m a sucker for air and ground sim games...they were my favorite in the 80s at the arcades and still are to this day. Something about holding the actual object that’s in the game. Just one step closer but it’s miles better than a controller. I’ve always been skeptical on these racing wheels...could they really be that good? Yes...yes they are. It’s the most fun I’ve had playing an Xbox. For the first time in years...I find myself trying to find more time to play. The force feedback is crazy cool...actually fighting you in hard turns really making you feel the road beneath you giving you better instincts to drive better in the game...if only the pedals had it too. Dreams!
