The Logitech G923 is a great racing wheel for PlayStation and PC. The driving feel super realistic with engine vibrations and such. It’s well-built with a leather-wrapped wheel and sturdy metal pedals. The brake pedal has great resistance, adding to the immersion. Easy to set up and works with most racing games.

Ive been looking for a wheel to use with forza and the f1 games on the xbox one, and i chose the g920. the build quality is great, it feels really durable, but sleek at the same time. force feedback is great, and is adjustable. The brake pedal is a bit stiff, but ti should be more forgiving after more use. Overall, an amazing product

If I had paid full price it would be 3 stars. This wheel does it's job, has ok clamps, and has strong force feedback. Those are it's high points. It's low points are it's noisy (the one I got has gears that actually squeek), its clamp knobs could be grippier, the wheel has a large deadzone in the middle, and the brake pedal takes nearly all of my weight to press all the way (I'm 250 lbs). The whole set has a quality weight and feel to it but, it's a good thing I got this on sale.

One of many Logitech wheels I've owned over the years - upgraded to this from the G27 (which isn't all that old, but isn't recognized in certain newer games). For most everyone, this will require the 'brake mod' that most have heard about (it's all over Youtube - not a big deal, but something to be aware of). I use this for both PC and Xbox One. There are (much) more expensive wheels out there that are almost certainly better than this one, but for the price the G920 is hard to beat in terms of both compatibility and quality.

I should start this by saying outside of a cheap wheel for a PS1 I had in the late 90s, I've never owned or really even used any racing peripherals at home. That being said, I was absolutely blown away by the quality of this thing for the price (at time of this writing, its $300, but BB will price match the big site named after a forest which usually has it for around $240-$250). I work as an auto tech for big 3 US dealer, and I will say the fit and finish of this wheel is just about on par with a generic sports car (camaro, mustang, etc.). Not Porsche or Lambo quality, but for sure nicer than I was expecting. The leather (not sure if its real, probably fake) feels very nice during long, sweaty handed play sessions, and after 2 weeks of use hasn't rubbed off or gotten marked in any discernable way (will update if and when it does). I drive a WRX IRL, and the pedals honestly feel extremely similar to it. They're sporty and firm feeling, not squishy like a manual Cruze or something, but not track car hard either. I feel the brake pedal could have a little more travel, but it's nothing major and may just be a personal preference. I'm pretty sure they don't change their feel based on vehicle being driven, but games like Forza will change the clutch "bite" point depending on the car. It can be a little akward, simply because you can't actually physically feel it like you would in a real car, but I imagine that would be a very difficult and expensive thing to emulate from game to real life. But honestly, once you dial in your settings, it feels just like driving a real vehicle within about 10 min. The force actuation is extremely accurate and MUCH stronger than you think it would be for its size. (it will shake desks, especially if they're not super sturdy) Most games default to the strength of it being perfectly in the middle, but I find it best to use it at maybe 35-40%, but yrmv. The whole setup is very heavy and sturdy, without being too cumbersome. The clamps feel very strong and easy to adjust. it can be a bit akward to route the wiring for the pedals, shifter(not included but highly recommended), power, and main USB connection, especially if your desk is like mine with already terrible cable managment, but there is a slot underneath that does a decent job of keeping things from tangling as the exit the main connection point (directly under the wheel). The shifter paddles are either mechanically actuated or very good at imitating it. They're solid metal and feel great to use, but they aren't self centered, meaning they travel with the wheel. It can be kind of disorienting when trying to turn and shift at the same time, so it will require focus to remember where the upshift vs. downshift paddles are at any given time. The standard abxy buttons feel fine, not any better or worse than a standard xbox controller. d-pad is about the same. The start and select buttons are a little soft, but nothing terrible. The only flaw I can find on it is that it doesn't have a small joystick on it to use in menus or map screens. I play on PC, so i just grab the mouse for those times, but console users may find it difficult to scroll through things like maps or certain menus when only having access to the d-pad. Thats a small QOL improvement I'd like to see on the next iteration of this thing, There are LS and RS buttons, but they're not very stable and almost feel like they should click in multiple ways. That being said, I don't really find a need for those extra buttons. One thing to note is that if you have it plugged into your computer/console, every time you start or reboot the device, the wheel will self calibrate by turning all the way right and then all the way left. So if you leave it on the floor or on a shelf when not in use but still plugged in, be sure that the wheel can rotate freely or else youll have to recalibrate the device when you go to use it, and if its in a position where it cant move at all, you may risk burning out one of the motors. I will note, on PC, even though the buttons are labeled with the xbox layout, many games (even xbox gamepass games like FORZA), will still refer to them as generic pc game controller buttons ie 1-10. Not at all a dealbreaker, but does require some getting used to sometimes. Overall, its an easy 5 star for me. 98/100, simply because nothing is perfect, and at this price point, the minor features missing are completely acceptable.

    My first wheel purchase

If you have a passion for racing games like I do and want a better experience other than a controller than look no further. This is my first wheel purchase as well. First to start off to give some warning and advisement. I have a desk that I attached my steering wheel to. I’d advise something sturdy and something that doesn’t move mounting this wheel to. If you also have a slick floor (tile, or wood) floor your foot pedals will not stay. Find a way like I did to mount or attach to something so they don’t move. After that you ready to go. I’d advise in the games setting you are playing, watch like a YouTube video to set up the wheel for each racing game you play. Takes less 5 minutes to find and watch a video on what to do. After that your pretty much ready to go. After about 10 minutes of playing Forza I was hooked. Running lap times quicker than the controller. I noticed I have way more control over my car and can push it a little harder. This wheel is not for someone who is not into getting a better simulation experience and know how to set up your vehicles as well. For the price I bought this for and how fast it got in I couldn’t be happier. I also bought the shifter to go along with it. Plugs right into it.

Great experience to add to any driving game

Great product, a little high price for the value but does offer a more realistic interface with most driving games on Xbox. Definitely recommend getting the shifter along with it if possible, while the paddle shifters give you a high performance experience, it doesn’t give you the satisfaction of shifting. Also, the paddles are a bit sharp along the edges as they’re made of a metal rather than plastic. Other than that there was a little difficulty getting settings right in each game but even without messing with settings it’s still fun to use out of the box.

G920 has met my needs for entry to sim racing. Easy set-up and configuration/tweaking through G-hub application. Pedals are useable with the brake being adjustable but stiff and unnatural feeling out-of-the-box. Wheel does not have options for F1 wheel replacement or quick wheel swap from Logitech directly. Minor complaint for price point. This is a solid entry device that does not require immediate upgrade but does not offer the range of customization found in higher priced options.

Overall, solid racing setup. It starts as a good setup that with some modifications and calibrations make it a great setup. If you're not sure if racing is your thing, get this. It's one of the cheapest full setups you'll find for the money and won't totally break the bank. I for one will probably upgrade, but this bridges the gap nicely. The Wheel - Very good quality materials, paddle shifters responsive and sturdy, decent force feedback. Since I use this for Project Cars 2, I applied the almost mandatory Jack Spade profile, which made the FF excellent. Others have stated this saved the game for them. The pedals - Sturdy, somewhat heavy plastic base, good quality pedals with a good throw... except...the brake pedal. At first I thought it was broken, but then did some research. Logitech was trying to emulate a real brake pedal which has more resistance. I just did a recalibrate on it and it does indeed feel more realistic. I give light pressure for normal braking, and if I need to slam the brakes and lock up the wheels, I have to put some leg into it. I like that. People it's not hard, there is calibration and there are mods. Luckily, I didn't need to mod it.

Coming from a Microsoft Force Feedback wheel on my Xbox 360, I'm super excited to virtually drive with a quality wheel on the Xbox One. Pros: Very sturdy with some leather-like material wrapped around the wheel. The wheel feels smooth with just the right amount of force feedback without making you feel like you have to fight back. Using it with Forza Motorsports 6 I've had zero problems and it just works. Con: Even though the foot petal base is large and relatively heavy, it still wants to move on carpet while driving intensely. The clutch petal and brake petal are just a tad to close and wearing sneakers has me hitting both petals when I want to brake. I end up wearing slimmer dress shoes just to drive. Undecided: The brake pedal moves about 40% of the way before it hits a rubber stopper, making that last bit of the brake pedal really hard to smash down and incredibly difficult to achieve 100% brake pressure. I am not sure if this is a feature, or an annoyance, but I will simply say that it keeps me from locking up my brakes So it does help...until I truly need to apply the brakes hard, then not so much. Verdict: So is this a good piece of equipment? I would say yes. I have had tons of fun with this and it makes Forza Motorsports 6 that much more of a joy to play.

Purchased this after long reasesrch between the Thrustmaster or Logitech G920. I decided to go for the Logitech. Having never owned a wheel, I was surprised by the force feedback and the quality of the paddle shiftets and buttons. The force feedback was stronger than I expected and was really fun to use. The only thing that was holding me back from purcahsing this wheel was the brake pedal. I’ve heard that it is stiff and hard to press. But i had no problems with that. If you have never had a wheel before, buy this one.

Excellent product. It’s not the best racing wheel, but for the price it might as well be. Perfect for casual applications like cruising in Forza Horizon 5, and even for intense races in games like Assetto Corsa. Buying Open Box Excellent is also a wonderful way to save money; mine looked brand new when I got it. I will say the brake pedal is a little stiff, but there’s a little mod you can do to fix it. I just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
