I love playing racing game, and have for 20+ years. started out with Mario kart. But, that said, I never played competitive. I always just played casual. So with that, I never saw the need for a racing wheel that is over 100$. I was given this wheel to use and try out, and man am I impressed. And I have not fully used the wheel to its fullest. few things I love about the wheel outside of games. underneath the wheel, you have the spot that you plug in the power, the pedals, and if you want a shifter that as well. it has a bracket so you can wrap some extra cable around. This helps with cable management. love that. The wheel has plenty of buttons which I love but and I have not even used all the buttons. There is a knob button as well as a + and - button. I would imagine the knob button might be great in other driving simulation games, like farming or trucks etc that might need some extra buttons to use. The wheel and pedals feel solid and well built. The wheel has a leather covering so it feels great in the hands. The pedals feel realistic. on the bottom of the pedals, it has a button you can press and it releases a foot (so to speak) that has small teeth to help it from sliding on carpet. The wheel has 2 mounting brackets (or you can mount with screws). the brackets you push a knob on each side so it pops out, adjust the brackets to the edge of your table, then as the knob tightens all the way you then press in on the knob to lock in place. have played hours with it and not have the wheel move. My dad used the wheel and he just turned the knobs and did not lock in place. the wheel after a bit would slide off. Once I showed him how to properly lock, he has not had any issues. its has force feedback which gives you pressure against the wheel. It also uses logitechs trueforce technology. Not all games use that yet. I hope some older games will update and incorporate that. But from what I have played and felt and tested. The older games that do not support it, when you hit a wall, drive on the dirt or edge of road etc, at times would make the wheel rumble but not really feel like you are driving on the rocks or edge, and at times would not cause the wheel to even rumble. But with trueforce, it felt like I was driving in the grass, or edge of the road. If there where bumps like driving on the shoulder, it would feel like that. Reving the engine would rumble to that, as well as shifting. It basically gave it a lot more realistic feel. The wheel has lights on the top above the buttons. Those lights would rev up as your RPMs went up. Nice touch. WARNING: when you plug in the wheel to power and then usb or vice versa, the last plug in wheel activate the wheel to calibrate so it will turn on its own one way then the other way and then back to center. I do not have a bracket for the wheel to fit in. So what I used for it was one of those old TV wood square shaped trays. The brackets fit perfect. and the pedals just fit in between the legs. I faced the tray so that the one leg that goes side to side was towards me. and I would put both my legs in-between and the pedals against my desk. a future that I am surprised logitech did not really hit on. It does have a double clutch for a more advanced control. Hard to explain especially being I dont use. Its not easy to setup. I dont use it myself, but later on I probably will more often. You basically hold both paddles and then I believe the L1 and R1 buttons. (the L and R could be 2 or 3 not sure what combo). then you basically use the +/- button to lower the clutch point. then you assign what ever button you want (like L3) so that when that button is pressed it fully presses your clutch in. So basically you press the foot clutch which only activates the clutch to what you set so lets say 1/3, then press the L3 button so your clutch is now at 3/3 (all the way). Then you basically start out by releasing the L3 button, then as you start to get going, you then release your foot clutch. I dont know much with logitechs other models like the G29, G920 etc. I believe this uses the same gear mechanics as those. The difference with this wheel is that they updated the circuitry inside with the processor. They updated the pedals as well. And like I said above they added the trueforce and the double clutch. I have always enjoyed my logitech gear. They have lasted for me so far and I hope this wheel will continue. The couple gripes I guess I would say, why not go with belt system? and why not add 2 more paddles on the back. it has 1 paddle per side that is long. could probably get those in half and make it 2 paddles per side. For now, I set on up as my handbrake. Find it easier then pushing one of the front buttons. Just used to a bike lol. But then that takes away using the shifters to shift. But if they added 2 more paddles, that would allow to use a hand brake and still have the shifter options. over all though, its a learning curve but much easier then using a controller. I find that I can be more precise with using the wheel. staying in the lanes etc. I also find it a lot more fun to use. If you are looking for a mid range wheel, this is one to consider. I enjoy using it, and my father in law loves using it on his ps4. I use it on a pc.

The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals is a fantastic product for anyone who loves racing games. The wheel is designed to provide a realistic driving experience, with a high-quality force feedback system that accurately simulates the feeling of driving a real car. The pedals are also very responsive and provide a great level of control. One of the best things about this product is its compatibility with a wide range of devices, including the PS5, PS4, and PC. This means that you can use it with all of your favorite racing games, no matter what platform you prefer. The build quality of the Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals is also top-notch. The wheel and pedals are both made from high-quality materials that feel very durable and long-lasting. The design is also very sleek and modern, making it a great addition to any gaming setup. Overall, I would highly recommend the Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals to anyone who loves racing games. The Logitech G923 is a great gear driven racing wheel. Logitech has taken an already solid platform in the G920 and improved it ever so slightly to create the G923 Racing Wheel. The G923 looks and feels just like its predecessor the G920 but with some slight color changes. The design and button layout is exactly the same. The real difference here is in the new progressive spring in the brake pedal (which I found to be quite stiff) as well as the new Trueforce technology that transfers in game data and sounds to the motors in the wheel. Having the feeling of gear shifting and engine revs translated through the wheel is not how you would experience things in real life, but it actually makes the driving experience with the G923 more immersive. I found the wheel to be very responsive when playing both simulation and arcade racing games like Gran Turismo Sport and Need For Speed Heat. And most games I tried allowed me to make changes to the sensitivity or degree of rotation of the wheel. For most racing games I liked to stick with 270° but for rally games like Dirt or big rig games like American Truck Driving Simulator and Snowrunner, having the full 900° is where it's at. I'm not a huge fan of the button placements, as they're not easy to reach without rolling your hand while driving, but all the buttons feel good and solid when pressed. The wheel is a bit loud with force feedback turned on, but not noticeable while wearing headphones or having the TV turned up. I just wouldn't play this if you need to be quiet is all. Overall I am very pleased with the design and performance of this wheel and would highly recommend grabbing it, especially if you can find it on sale.

If you own a Logitech G29, stay put because this wheel is basically a G29 with loss of PS3 support but the addition of the proprietary TrueForce force feedback. The wheel still uses the same motor. It's still gear-based so you'll still get a slightly notchy feel when you turn the wheel but it's honestly not that bad in terms of sound. It's actually close to silent. But it's not as smooth as a belt-based wheel, which typically cost more than gear-based wheels (more on this later in my review). The wheel's maximum rotation is 900°, which is par for the course if you're into simulation racing. So you'll be able to turn the wheel 2.5 times from lock-to-lock. Most sport cars have 900° rotation or less. Older vehicles and family cars may have more rotation. The buttons on the wheel have nearly all the controls of a standard PS4 controller. The only thing that's missing are the 2 analog sticks (because it has the L3 and R3 analog stick buttons). The Square, Triangle, Cross, and Circle buttons feel premium and the d-pad feels great and precise as well. Perfect for menu selections. The other buttons feel plasticky and kind of cheap by comparison. The wheel does NOT come with a H-pattern shifter, but it does have metal paddle shifters behind each side of the wheel for gear shifting. The wheel has RPM LED lights just above the center cap of the wheel. The wheel is made of mostly metal backed by hard plastic. So in other words, the looks basically the same as the G29 with the exception of colors. The wheel is now mostly black, including the dial, L/R buttons, and the paddles. The center marker is now something along the lines of turquoise-blue. The wheel is covered with black leather that feels great to touch. When you're using the wheel on a PC, you'll need the install the G Hub software to get force feedback to work. I guess they install or act like drivers for the wheel. In G Hub, you'll also be able to configure the settings for wheel such as the rotation range. This is very useful for emulation gaming since racing games designed with controller play in mind actually have only a 180° rotation (because there's only 2 points of direction, left and right, with analog covering the degrees between them). When left at the default 900° for those types of games, you'll experience severe understeering. In G Hub, you'll also be able to adjust the sensitivity of the wheel turn; the intensity of the force feedback from the torque (i.e. the pull on the wheel when the wheels on the car are turning) and audio effects (i.e. the vibration from bumps); the strength of the centering spring; and the sensitivity of each pedals. You'll also be able to set and save specific settings for each application you add to G Hub to their own profile, which will automatically be used whenever you run that application. The wheel has 2 plastic clamps on each side of the wheel that are tightened with an integrated screw dial above them. These clamps are used to attach the wheel to most tables. The clamp's opening is 1 1/8" so any table/desk that's thicker than that will not work with the wheel's clamps. The wheel can also be mounted using 2 x M6-1.0 screws. The length of the screw will vary based on what you're mounting it to, but the depth of the screw thread on the steering wheel is 15mm. The G923 comes with 3 pedals (from right to left: the throttle/gas, brake, and clutch) and are made of metal, with plastic circle bumps within each pedal which I assume is texture for grip. The pedals are screwed on to the spring mechanism using 2 black painted screws, although the black paint wears off easily. I've been using it with my bare feet, sometimes socks, and the black paint on the bottom screw of the gas pedal has worn down to a dirty black-silver. These screws can be unscrewed the adjust the positioning of the pedals to bring them closer or away from each other. There are 3 positions you can screw them to, and out of the box they are on the center position. You can bring them closer for easier heel-toe shifting or further away if you have larger feet. The base of the pedals is hard plastic. The bottom of the pedals' base has rubber feet, although when I used them on my bathroom floor, they didn't hold well and would still slip. There's also carpet spikes you can pull out, which worked well on my low pile carpet. Just like the wheel, you can also mount the pedals. It uses 6 x M6-1.0 screws. The pedals feel great, with the right amount of pressure and resistance when depressed. I have some concern about the cables though. The serial cable for the pedals is kind of thin and built-in to the pedals' base. Likewise, on the wheel itself, the USB 2.0 cable is built-in to the wheel. But unlike the pedal's cable, the USB cable on the wheel is reinforced to prevent breakage. I wish they did that on the pedal's cable too. If either of these two break, they're not easily user-replaceable. The USB 2.0 cable measures 7 feet, however because of the design, the longest you'll be able to make use of it is 6'7". If you use the cable management loop, it will shorten to a max length 5'11" or shorter. Be prepared to use a USB extension cable if needed for your setup. I used a cheap one for my living room and it worked fine on my PS4. The force feedback will vary depending on the game you're playing as each game programs it their own way. I found the feedback good for the most part, although the stronger hits were somewhat annoying because it was this unrealistic rattling/hammering feeling from inside the wheel's base. Like something inside the base was knocking hardly on the plastic shell of the base. It reminds me of those corn popper toys that little kids play with with the handle that you roll it around with to make it pop (look it up on youtube). The only upgrade the G923 features that the G29 doesn't have is the TrueForce force feedback. At the time of this writing only 3 games officially support it: Assetto Corsa Competizione Grid (2019) Gran Turismo Sport iRacing unofficially supports it when you edit its ini file to enable it. The experience of TrueForce will vary depending on the game. TrueForce on Gran Turismo Sport was subtle. It's hard to put in words because it's all about feel, but the feeling running over dirt road felt more defined. As does going up or downhill. So it does give you a better sense of immersion. It just feels a little half-baked though. When the car is idle the engine is still running but your wheel feels like the engine is off with no vibration at all. Gran Turismo Sport still doesn't recognize the G923 as its proper model despite supporting TrueForce. The wheel is identified as a G29 in the controller settings. There is also no option to configure TrueForce feedback. On Assetto Corsa Competizione, the TrueForce feedback feels a lot more pronounced. When your car is idle, you can still feel the engine rumbling from the wheel. When you're accelerating on a straightaway you can feel the gear changes when they shift, like in real life. Driving over grass felt more realistic. When I turned off TrueForce, the engine rumbling while idle was gone. Driving over grass had a more generic rumble feel. The game felt more lifeless after using TrueForce. Feedback was there but it felt plain, like I couldn't feel the nuances of the actual environment or situation. With PS5 having DualSense with its new controllers, I can imagine those haptic feedback sensations would be translated to this wheel via TrueForce. But the problem is, I don't KNOW that. I'm assuming. This was such a difficult wheel for me to review because I honestly loved using it. Logitech doesn't help itself by releasing the wheel at an awkward point in time, months before the release of PS5. It has been confirmed by Logitech themselves that the G923 will be compatible with the PS5, but so will the G29 as well as Thrustmaster's line of PS4 wheels (confirmed by them on their website). Due to this awkward timing, the G29 can be had for less money. For the same price of the G923, the Thrustmaster T300 RS GT (which uses a belt drive) with the 3 pedals can be had. TrueForce is amazing when used to its potential, but it all depends on how the game uses it. It still remains to be seen how many games will actually use TrueForce since it's proprietary. And that right there is the $399 question. I get why it's priced that way. Every new wheel from Logitech starts at that MSRP. But unfortunately it doesn't offer anything to differentiate itself from the G29 aside from TrueForce, which is feedback technology that I see great potential with. But maybe by the time more games support it and have the best of it to show, the wheel can be bought for a cheaper price. If you plan to spend $399 *now* a better wheel can be bought. If you ever find the G923 at $200-$300 though, BUY IT. It's a great wheel and I love TrueForce. It's just too expensive right now to put all its chips on the promise of a not yet widely accepted proprietary tech (again only 3 games *officially* support it right now). And you lose PS3 support. With the G29 you'll have a wheel that supports PS3, PS4, and PS5 for a cheaper price. If and when more games support TrueForce and the price is still $399 then I may recommend it because loved the immersion and detail it had to offer in Assetto Corsa Competizione. I believe its implementation in games can only get better. But wait. Don't buy now (unless you fear of it being sold out). If you need one now, belt-based wheels that used to be $600 5 years ago can now be had for $399 and will also support PS5.

This is my first wheel and first time using a wheel. Overall I'm happy, but expect so spend some time dialing it in. I didn't get a chance to test it with a PS4, but was able to test with a PC. If you are getting this wheel for PC gaming exclusively I do recommend you choose the XBOX version as there are a few more supported games then the PS4 version on the PC due to Microsoft Windows liking XBOX control scheme. That said setup was easy. Mounted securely to my desk without issues. Very easy system and the pedals have enough heft that they didn't shift around on my carpet. The cables have a good reach, so routing them wasn't a huge deal, I was able to position everything to be comfortable. Since I already have Logitech's G Hub installed on my PC for my mouse the wheel was seen immediately and ready for action. I happened to try a few different games and this the part where the wheel isn't as plug and play as a controller. It takes time with each game to dial in the settings that make it feel good, so expect to fiddle with the settings for the game you want. For me, not being a wheel expert it did take me some time for WRC 3 /Crew 2/Forza horizon 3/Grid 2019 to get the Wheel dialed in the way it felt natural and good. Again I feel as I use the wheel and learn about the settings in games and read more forum posts it will be a faster setup for newer games, but being new expect to spend about 30 minutes to hour per game playing with the settings and tweaking it to get it right. Once it is dialed in it feel great on the games, esp. Grid 2019 that fully supported "True Force" racing giving a feeling of being on the road. It gives you a better feel for the speed and the control is more natural if you drive a lot. Did it make me better at these games? No. Partly because I'm still used to controllers, but mostly because I am not the greatest at playing these games. But it did give me a greater sense of immersion in the game and feeling of being on the road. I had I think a bit more fun losing then I normally would. Overall the feel of the wheel and pedals is very premium and it have a lot of heft to wheel especially. This really does help in providing some immersion to the games and the fun. Now as soon as I get my PS4 back, I'll be able to try Gran Turismo, and I'm hoping the setup on the Console for that game will go faster now that I have an idea of the different settings and what I seem to like. TLDR: Great feeling wheel, if this is more for PC Gaming using the XBOX version since it covers more PC Games, but if you are willing to put in the time to tune the settings it really adds to the fun and immersion of the games.

Entry Level to Some, Racing Nirvana to Me!

In January of this year the decision was made to jump into online SIM racing. I got the opportunity (I wish everyone could) to test out literally everything on the market due to a close friendship I have with an influencer in the SIM racing world. With that exposure, I tested several different cockpits, wheels, pedals, monitor stands, monitors, basically everything. I am going to surprise some people by some of my final decisions and what I am racing today. Time and time again I heard experts in the SIM racing world just breezing right past Logitech wheels and pedals to the "real" wheels and pedals. During that same period of time I found myself going back to the Logitech G923 for PS5 and PC. One of the reasons I kept going back to this wheel is because the G923 fit so nicely on the Next Level F-GT cockpit from Next Level Racing. Putting those two together just had a natural feeling for me. One of the largest selling points for the G923 is the "Trueforce" action when using the wheel. It replicates what you feel when actually racing. The feedback is just awesome. I only tested 5 different wheels and I am by no means an expert when it comes to SIM racing products, but I kept returning to the G923 because it felt realistic to me, which was a requirement for me to continue in this SIM racing adventure. Here is what I put together. Next Level F-GT cockpit. Triple monitor stand from Next Level. Keyboard and mouse tray from Next Level. 16 locking wheel castors from Next Level. 65" by 24" Floor Mat from Next Level. 3 Asus 27" IPS FHD G-Sync Compatible Gaming monitors (VG279QR). Logitech G923 Wheel and Pedals. Logitech G Driving Force Shifter. *Note* The 3 Asus Monitors were purchased online from Best Buy and they look awesome and it was a great price (I think they were $215.00 each). I also have a wireless Logitech keyboard, a wired Logitech headset, and two 12 button, button boxes in use. I only race on IRacing via the PC. Also, if someone is wondering why I didn't go to a higher resolution gaming monitors, I was limited due to using an existing desktop and CPU, which is a Dell XPS8930, which included a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, which handles the 3 Asus monitors quite well. All in all, I am very happy with my current setup. I've ran the flag up the flagpole for the Logitech G923 because this is a great wheel and doesn't seem to get the credit it should. It's not a direct drive wheel, but it suits me just fine and for $399.99 I think it was a deal!

Fun, Gets You Immersed with Great Control

Racing games have gotten more and more realistic over the years. Their controllers have been racing as well to catch up. Over the past few days, I unboxed and tested a steering wheel and pedal controller set where the wheel design and build had similar feel to the sport steering wheel in my actual car down to the rounded flat bottom! And with the weight of the feedback components, this ends up being of similar weight to my car's steering wheel with an airbag, amazing. The Logitech G923 is a racing wheel and pedal set that aims to be more true to life via the Trueforce feedback engine which is just steering wheel only. The pedals do provide some feel, but it's more in the progressive nature of pedal pressure (harder the further you press) when applying the pedal and the response when the pedal returns to the neutral position. The steering wheel is a nice leather (or something similar enough that I can't tell the difference or care) giving a premium feel with the brushed metal. If it didn't have essentially a game controller built into the upper half you'd really be hard pressed to distinguish this from the sport wheel for a car. On the opposite side of the controller are dials that you use to adjust the responsiveness settings of the wheel. The wheel also has side mounted paddle shifters. The wheel housing holds motors that provide the force feedback as well as steering gear to translate your motion to something the games recognize. The steering wheel gives about 2.5 turns lock to lock so would be incredibly "quick" on a real car but hits the sweet spot for gaming, particularly non-offroad racing where if done right, you wouldn't need that much steering range anyway. The housing has feet that pop out to secure to a table with a knob you tighten. If you've installed a table mounted toddler seat, it's pretty much the same exact operation. It can also sit flat and the bottom has some threaded holes which would allow for a more permanent installation if you were building a more custom setup. For me, given that my gaming rig is a laptop, table mount is perfect. However, with this being table mount, that puts the pedal set on the floor. The cable from this routes up to the steering wheel box along with power and the controller to the PC (or PS4). The pedal set has rubber feet for floor and a gool spiky carpet grip that flips out for carpet. My testing happend on a floor and while the rubber grip did mostly help, my seating position wasn't quite as lined up as I'd like. It would be nice to be able to put this at an angle. This resulted in me sometimes being able to push the whole thing away with some spirited manouvers which was fixed by placing around 20lbs of bag behind it. I think an angle/platform adjustment would be about what's needed to get this to great (and having actual feedback in the clutch and brake pedal would be unreal). I tried this out with Dakar 18 and F1 2018 on my laptop. Unfortunately, neither game supports Trueforce so my review won't include anything on that. The wheel is really designed more for games like F1 and will more than up to the task for Dakar. I enjoyed the steering wheel feel in both Dakar and F1. It felt responsive with a good weight and the feedback did a good job of matching the game mechanics. I feel where this really shines is in two areas. The first being little details on the steering response of vehicles and pushing that back to you, so for example, you'd struggle a bit more moving the steering wheel when piloting the car through mud than on a track. The second area is in gross response - when you bump another car (or get bumped yourself), there's an immediate steering response as the wheel moves to match. Contrary to what you might think, this sets you up to respond faster as your "wheel" is already in right position. Instead of the jerky back and forth to reacquire the true steering angle, you just pickup from where your virtual car is actually located. It also makes the game more immersive as you get to feel a bit more of the jossling and rolls or throws as your car moves through terrain or slides around a turn due to too much oversteer. Overall, I think the G923 is a good blend of features for a racing controller. I did have some placement/mounting issues with the pedals but nothing that couldn't be solved quickly. It looks great, has great feel and feedback, and improved my experiencing playing, both in terms of making me feel more connected to the game as well as actually helping eke out better in-gmae performance by giving me not only more feedback to what's happening in game but allowing my physical controls to actually track the vehicle I'm piloting. After a few days of use, the only other nit pick is that the colors on the wheel itself are too bland. I think the buttons/knobs need a bit more contrast, which would make them a bit more noticeable with less ambient light so that it's easier to see in your peripheral vision and hit without having to glance at the wheel to reacquaint yourself. I suspect more time and muscle memory will solve this as well, but I don't think it takes away from the aesthetics of the wheel and in fact would give it more of an F1 look anyway.

    Logitech Ups Their Game Again

Logitech has once again stepped up their game with the next in their line of racing sim controllers, the G923 wheel & pedals combo (for PS4 and PC). For full disclosure, I’m using this with a PC rig, though I did try a couple of older games with it on PS4, which I have largely moved on past. This is definitely a step up from their previous rig, now featuring LED lights to sync with shift commands, as well as better feedback in the wheel. Honestly, with games getting harder & harder to differentiate between real-life and video game in terms of the graphics, AI, realism, etc., it’s awesome to see Logitech do the same with each new iteration of their control wheel. The feedback was firm and configurable. The sewn leather grip made this feel like a high-end car’s steering and made for a comfortable grip even during longer (or stressful) driving sessions where your hands get a little sweaty. The steering was quiet and didn’t have the gear-grinding sound or feeling I’ve felt on other wheels, quite smooth to play with. The buttons on the wheel obviously match those of a PS4 controller, but were configurable for those of us using PC. The HUGE addition is the new 24-position dial mounted on the wheel, giving you options for dialing in different settings with suspension, braking, etc., similar to the control F1 drivers have at their fingertips for changing track conditions. I also love the addition of the LEDs, as I mentioned above, for showing shift statuses right on the wheel. The lights were bright enough to see below your eye’s field of view without being distracting to the game on the screen. The pedals are just as great. I play in my home office, which is carpeted, and the retractable grips on the bottom held the pedals mostly in place during play, but during intense braking or clutch work you can feel them want to slip a little. But I think I am going to invest in a dedicated rig that the wheel and pedals will mount to moving forward. The feedback in the pedals is second-to-none, and like the steering wheel makes playing a game almost equal to the thrill of driving a high-end car. All of the settings are configurable (both wheel and pedals) within the PS settings, but for us PC users the G-Hub software gives you full control over the settings from centering strength to how far the wheel operates in the full circumference. Overall, Logitech has continued to up the game of reality in control, whether its with their aviation products for flight sim games or their racing rigs. This is no different. I would highly recommend the G923 if you’re in to bringing more reality to your racing sim games and want to go beyond a handheld controller.

As far as racing wheel and pedal goes, the Logitech G923 is a is a well made bundle. As an owner of the T300RS and T3PA-PRO, I was very surprised at how well the wheel performs. In fact, I will go as far as say I prefer the G923 over the T300RS, because of the feel and usability of the wheel. There are many things that makes this my preferred wheel, and one of them is the feel of it. The real leather stitching gives you a more authentic and grippy feel when driving. The force feedback is also well done and remains silent during operation. My T300RS would have a fan that would kick in during a gaming session, but this wheel stayed quiet making driving that much more enjoyable. This wheel also mounts to the surface/stand quite easily. At first I was skeptical of the plastic hinges that were provided, but the provided enough support that the wheel did not budge at all in my stand. Really, my only gripe is in how the cables are managed - you have to remove the wheel from the stand to access the ports, but this isn't too bad since you can remove the wheel from a stand in just a few seconds. The pedals do not stand out as much as the wheel for me. However, that does not mean that they are still great. Each pedal has their own level of resistance when depressed. The gas and clutch feel correct, but the brake pedal can seem a bit stiff. You really have to push it in order to fully depress it. For some that may be desirable, but for me it was not. Because this pedal is mostly proprietary, it would be hard to find mods to customize it to your liking. There is little adjustability in that you can move the pedal plates to the left/right by a centimeter or so, but that's it. There are a set of retractable spikes that can help grip the pedals without screws. On carpet, they are so-so, but on a rubber mat they work amazing. Overall, the pedals are nice for starters, but you may find them a little lacking further down the road. My opinions of the G923 is that it is an amazing set for anyone considering buying a driving simulation setup. The wheel especially and the pedals combined with the easily usable software from Logitech gives a genuine gaming experience that outshines what a normal controller would do for driving games.

In the box is a steering wheel, foot pedals with three pedals, instruction manual. Set up was fairly easy, once you connect the power and connect the foot pedals to the steering wheel all there is left is to plug it into the PlayStation. It will go through a self test after connection and you're good to go. Keep in mind that the box is super heavy for a reason. The steering wheel itself is the heaviest part, which means that this product is a well-built sturdy and highly capable piece of tech. It definitely feels almost like the real thing with the faux leather wrapped d-shaped setup, you feel as if you're in a high-end sports car when you put your hands on this thing. A few notable things, the steering wheel of course is smaller than the standard size of a steering wheel but it still gives you the same feel and realism that an actual steering wheel would give you. Also on the steering wheel itself, it has all the functioning buttons that you would need to navigate throughout your menus and PlayStation. You can fine-tune the adjustment knobs located at the base of the steering wheel for more simulator-based games. The pedal shifter is equipped with some firm large pedals that allow for very precise shifts especially when drifting. A few other notable enhancements is the shift light, I was playing Need for Speed and noticed that the shift light built into the steering wheel corresponded perfectly with the revs in the cars, which is a added bonus to know the perfect time to shift without having to look around or listen for audible queue. The only issue I had with them is I wish they were slightly a bit heavier. When you are not on the carpeted floor, they tend to shift in hard breaking situations. Other than that the actual feedback from the three pedal design is great. The clutch feels like a clutch, the brake pedal is stiff like a brake pedal should be and the gas pedal feels connected to a cable even though it is not. Overall, I'm very impressed with the steering wheel, it actually hit all the marks I was looking for with no issues and the design is portable enough and easy to set up. I would definitely purchase this product again and I would highly recommend to friends and family!

I don't have much experience with racing wheel accessories except for the Wii Wheel from back in the day and its successor in the Nintendo Switch add-ons. So prior to getting the Logitech G923 for the PS4 and PC, I would consider myself a novice in the racing game genre. The G923 isn't turning me into a racing pro anytime soon, but Logitech's racing wheel and pedal combo gives a truly adrenaline-charging experience. The wheel device is heavy and looks like it will stand up to wear and tear. It has a leather, textured grip that has a very arcade feel. Multicolored lights extend from the top when you press the pedals. The standard PS4 buttons are centered on the wheel except for joysticks and L1/R1 buttons, replaced by a very responsive hand dual-clutch system located behind the wheel. Overall, the equipment feels very compact and sturdy. Attach the wheel to a desk or table with its drop down clamps to keep the device static. The pedal stand is bulky and made of hard plastic, with polished metal pedals that feel especially stable and are pressure-sensitive to simulate a true racing feel. The body of the stand does tend to slip and move during extended use, so I recommend stabilizing it (for example, placing something heavy in front of it) prior to playing. Gaming with the G923 is amazing. While the current catalog of compatible games is limited, the games I did play were loads of fun and enhanced by the racing wheel and pedals. The device is fully customizable through the Logitech G Hub app via PC. It took a little getting used to the wheel pulling back during gameplay as well as the gas and brake pedal resistance. It really becomes second nature using the G923. Logitech has made racing games more fun and immersive than ever. The G923 lets users customize their experience to their liking with a durable, sleek device for their PS4 and PC.Definitely an awesome experience testing this product. Full disclosure, I received this product for my honest, unbiased review.

Logitech racing wheels are always fun to use and work very well. This wheel takes me back to my childhood but also brings cutting edge technology and racing accuracy. Logitech made a good decision allowing for the cross compatibility of the PS4 or PC on one wheel since many gamers have a console and PC these days. The price point is very reasonable considering you get this flexibility. Overall, I highly recommend this driving wheel if you are in the market but cannot accurately describe whether it's worth the upgrade over the last version. Look and Design: This looks and feels like a professional wheel. It doesn't feel cheap and has really good weight. I don't personally have a racing chair for this, but that would put the experience over the top. I started out with setting it on my coffee table (and my lap at times) which was good enough to stat. All of the buttons have a good feel. Gaming experience: The steering wheel has 900 degrees of rotation. That is phenomenal. Maneuvering was totally in my control without physical limitations from the wheel itself. I'm still not exactly sold on the Trueforce technology yet (in terms of accuracy), but its takes the driving experience to a whole new level. I primarily use this for Gran Turismo Sport on my PS4. The wheel was so responsive to speed and the car I was driving. It was quite accurate when bumping corners or other cars. The pedals are also super responsive and allow for fine control of speed. I stumbled over the three pedal design but that will improve with practice. All in all, I'm extremely impressed with the fun and immersion this wheel provides. In general, I don't think anyone can be disappointed in this wheel. It's reactive, well built, and just a ton of fun. I will miss the option of a gear shifter in exchange for just paddles, but aside from that, buy one now.
