DO NOT BUY if you’re looking to use this for Xbox one or PlayStation 4. It’s not wireless when using the consoles and it sounds terrible especially when using for Xbox it doesn’t even allow you to talk in to the actual mic on the headphones you’re talking through piece on the wire.

I've used several different headsets and this one takes the cake for a budget headset. I've used a Logitech G35 headset for a year or more now and it's one of if not the best wired headsets I've owned. I wanted a newer headset that was compatible with Pc and console so I initially bought the Astro A40 with the external Mixamp controller. I was seriously disappointed with them as far as comfort and sound quality. I returned them several days later for these. I was blown away right out of the box. The packaging is basic and can come off as cheap to some. Logitech is an underrated brand of peripherals. I had a little trouble getting the headset to connect to the wireless adapter but once I updated firmware and reset the dongle and got them connected they've been fantastic. They're lightweight and comfortable, the ear cups are noise cancelling and the sound is amazing. The bass in these is off the charts. I am using the Logitech gaming software to make the most of these and it pays off. The headset overall is a bit tight so some with larger heads may find it a bit uncomfortable. The retractable boom mic is a nice touch and seems to pick up sound very well. I love that this headset has programmable hotkeys so I have them set to control music playback while I'm gaming. The response is pretty much instant I haven't noticed any audio lag. The RGB is a nice touch as well. You can use preset profiles or create custom lighting profiles. The wireless adapter stores away in one of the ear pieces for transport which is awesome. It's just a very well made and comfortable headset that is easy to transport and very easy to use. It works with pc and all modern consoles so it's very versatile. I got it on sale for 100$ and for that it is an amazing value for what you're getting. I checked reviews and comparisons between these and the Astros and the SteelSeries headsets and I'm very very glad I chose these in the end. I highly recommend them to anyone. Don't skip on them just because they're Logitech, definitely give them a look.
