    My experience pros/cons

So I bought these after doing some research, the reason why they were my choice was because, it does have a 7.1 surround, the RGB is beautiful and you are able to change the colors of the lights. They are wireless up to 13 hours with the lights turned off and I've gotten to 8 hours with lights on, you are able to connect wirelessly to your PC or PS4 (pretty sure it works with XB1) and have your headset connected to your phone, I have read that you are able to connect up to 3 devices. In the logitech software you are able to customize 3 different modes to your liking which include the audio yes bass to, and also the RGB lights. The headset itself is made out of a strong plastic, even the extension bars to make the headphones bigger, but they seem more durable than others, the only thing I would have wanted to know is that SURROUND SOUND DOES NOT WORK ON PS4, it's just stereo, the surround sound works fine on the PC only if you have the software installed (which is free at the logitech website) I am now in search for a PS4 surround headset, I wouldn't want to return the G933 because they are amazing headphones.

    Volume doesn’t work

There’s no manual online or in the box, the volume control doesn’t work, meaning it only lessens the volume, and for $150 headsets that’s absurd. I will be exchanging it and hopefully the next one works.

I purchased this for my son for his Birthday, actually I replaced the exact Gaming Headset that his siblings purchased for him because it broke. This one only lasted a week. Such a waste.

I acquired this headset after using the black version of the artemis for a year when it broke, this product lasted 10 days before it started failing, O switched to an Astro A50 which has given no problems.

    An Okay Headset

My main reason for purchasing this headset was for the multiple platform capability and the wireless capabilities. The Pros: 1.) The wireless works great and is better than expected and has amazing range. 2.) The Dolby and DTS inclusion is nice, but I hardly ever use it because it isn't executed well. It is great for videos, but in game it is a distraction. 3.) The software used to configure the headset on the PC is easy to use and makes the set up easy. 4.) The custom Equalizer is a nice inclusion and I like that you can have basically an unlimited amount of custom EQs. 5.) If you want, the software can use a custom profile for each game on the PC. 6.) Battery life is amazing. Cons: 1.) I wish that the wireless usb dongle for the PC worked on the PS4 to make it completely wireless, sadly you must plug in the headset into the controller. 2.) The boom microphone sounds worse than the microphone built into the cable. (I don't even understand how that is possible.) 3.) At $200 I feel that these headphones are a little overpriced, the inclusion of Bluetooth or more functionality, like the usb dongle working with my PS4 could justify the price. They would be better if priced at around $150 to $175.

It was great for the first couple weeks and then my brothers whom I got for his wedding gift crapped out on him and shortly after my mic stopped working and of course I can’t return it.

I originally bought these to use with my xbox. I know there is a compatibility issue concerning this console. I can't use the wireless function or the surround sound function. It sucks but I'm just waiting for Logitech to update the drivers so this'll be available to those who want to use it with the xbox. I am having an issue though. Sometimes, the game sound is loud but the characters, when they speak, it's barely even a whisper. Literally not audible. I thought maybe it was my xbox controller but it does the same thing with my phone. I don't understand what the problem is. I'm thinking I may have received a faulty one, but we'll see what happens. All in all, if you're planning on using them for some other console besides the xbox, go for it. The surround sound from my computer audio when using this headset was great and they are super comfortable.

I picked this up after reading reviews on this extensively. This is a great product. The sound is fabulous, especially if you're dealing with a sound source with 7.1 surround sound. The features of being able to hook this up to a TV is fantastic as well. Now I can watch shows late at night without bothering my wife. (I can actually hear the dialogue better in these headphones than on my $1,400 bose sound system. So awesome...
