Worked great for a month then broke

Did not work for me

ATTN Chromebookers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones to pair with my Toshiba Chromebook 2 with the intention of using the mic to dictate notes for work. As with most products these days a manual wasn't included, just a rather poor diagram. After doing some research I learned I needed to download the Logitech Unifying app from the Chrome Store. After doing this and inserting the nano receiver I was able to listen to streamed music, which came in nice and clear. However, when I attempted to use the mic for dictation, I could not get it to work. The next day I brought it to the Geek Squad and they had a hard time figuring it out as well. After we got the whole team involved the mystery was solved. To activate the mic go to your Chromebook's settings, click on advanced settings, scroll down to accessibility, click on Enable on screen keyboard and a little icon should appear in the lower right hand corner of your screen. Click on the icon which will feature a display with a small mic. Click on that and you're ready to dictate. I wish I could have found these instructions somewhere. I live in a two story town house with a basement and I can travel throughout with the headphones on with no distortion and the music sounding crisp and clear. I hope this review/tutorial proves useful to others.

Please follow these steps to troubleshoot connectivity: 1) Move the headset closer to your audio source — it might be out of range. 2)Move away from other sources of wireless signal — you could be experiencing interference. 3) Connect the headset to a USB port using the charging cable — it may not have enough battery power. 4)Try adjusting the volume on your audio source — it might be turned up too high. If you're using the wireless receiver: 1)Make sure it's connected to a USB port that isn't behind any large objects (ex. a desk or desktop PC). 2)Make sure it isn't connected near other wireless receivers that could be causing interference. Thank you for your feedback. Sorry for any inconvenience. Use the following steps to connect the headset to your computer:
Connect the USB receiver to a USB port on the computer (connecting to a USB hub isn't recommended).
Power on your headset. The headset and the wireless receiver come pre-paired out of the box.
Once the installation is complete, your computer may require a reboot to finalize the installation. IF you need further assistance, please contact Logitech Support on the website. LaShonda from Logitech

Posted .Hello, this headset connects via bluetooth. I would make sure the computer Bluetooth is turned on and the headset is in range (32.8 FT). If that does not work, the unit may be defective. This device comes with a 2 year warranty through Logitech, if you would like to send back for a new one. I hope this helps!

I really like this headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This headset is comfortable, has good sound quality, and the wireless range is strong enough to work anywhere in my house, including upstairs and the basement. They fold into a compact shape when not in use and the USB dongle even stores right in the headset. The controls are great except for the power switch, which must be counter-intuitive because I have a devil of a time remembering which way turns them on/off and you can't really tell by feel. I get around 6 hours of continuous use out of the battery. I would buy these again.

Decent Headset, poor noise cancellation and range

When everyone is quiet, the sound is pretty good quality though. Also a bit disappointed with the range. It's not quite the 33 feet as advertised. I get probably about 20 feet out of it before it's distorted.
