The Logitec-Harmony was very easy to set up and to use. It also allowed me to add a 10 year old VCR that we rarely use.

I bought this thinking I could get it to work with my PS4, but, I didn't realize it was the next model up (not concerned), and I needed a bit more hardware which I'll eventually acquire. I have not YET gotten it to work stand alone with the PS4, but, it is VERY easy to setup TV and PC running Media Center with, and other varying devices. Screen is easy to read, and with a bit of a self-induced learning curve (many remotes & buttons), using it was a breeze. Well done, Logitech. Well done.

I would never have thought about buying such an expensive remote before. It seemed like the kind of thing only a "serious" home theater person would get. After adding a sound bar to my TV to make up for the rather pathetic built in speakers, I found that the "universal" remote from the cable company couldn't control it. I now had four remotes on the table and decided enough was enough. I looked at a less expensive remote, but the screen and customizability of this one sold me. I'll never need another remote now. I'll just update this one so that even if I change components, the control scheme will remain the same.

Bought this remote after returning a bit more expensive Harmony. I liked this remote better because it has standard batteries and no recharging station. Like all harmony remotes I've had this one programs via a computer & USB cable. I really like this feature vs the old fashioned code entry of other remotes. The remote can still 'learn' functions if needed by pointing two remotes at each other, but I haven't found a need for this yet... the programming via internet assigned every button I needed. The little display is kind of nice too, since this give the remote a tone of flexibility that hard buttons don't always allow.

I purchased this mostly for my HTPC so I didn't have to use my mouse but I have integrated all of my devices into it. It was simple to train and works great. I have replaced all of my remotes with this one unit. It is wonderful because you can train specific buttons for each device to do whatever you'd like. don't know why I waited so long to integrate a universal smart remote into my entertainment center.

I've owned Harmony remotes since they came onto the market. I have also recommended Harmony remotes to family members who are......less electronic savy than I! As with all Harmony remotes, the software is easy to use and self explanatory. This is the second of this particular model that I have purchased. I like that it has a digital display but does not go the complete touch screen route of higher models. I feel this is a great value for the money and I highly recommend it.

The harmony remotes are great, I have several different types. This one was easy to configure and controls xbox 360 and xbox one as well (note: an additional receiver is needed to control PS3 and PS4). Got the remote on sale for $40 and think thats a fair price for it. There are better remotes to be had at its normal list price of $80.

Easily programmed and actually works with Xfinity boxes which was the main driver for me when choosing this controller. It is a great improvement over the three or more different controls I used to have. But, it takes a while sometimes to change all the different components in my home theater setup.

The Logitech Harmony 650 does everything. It is programmed to control the TV, VCR, DVD, Sound Bar, and Tivo. It does this with ease. What an outstanding product.

Bought this so my wife could operate our home theater system with one button (watch TV, watch movie). Works great for those things. With old software the user could customize most of the buttons on the remote, but the new software only allows a few button customizations. For instance, I wanted a quick button on the remote to access our DVR list, but I have to push 3 buttons to get there instead of just one, not a deal breaker for my main goal, but a little disappointing.

Over the past few years I have owned a Harmony 890, 880, and now the 650. I started with the 890 and loved it. It controlled everything I wanted it it plus features that I didn't use. The buttons on the 890 started to wear out. I bought a used 880 and it worked ok, but the volume up button stopped working. I finally decided to buy a new 650. My main reason for purchasing the 650 was due to the fact I hate the newer Logitech remotes that use smart phones to work. I want a remote, not a smart phone to control my equipment. I downloaded the software, hooked up the remote to my Macbook, and was able to load the config from my previous remotes into the 650 with no problems. Took a total of 10 mins and I had a fully configured functional remote. I control a Toshiba TV, PS3 (through the adapter), Phillips DVR, Panasonic 5 disk DVD, & a Denon receiver. Before I purchased it I was concerned that the smaller screen would be a problem, but it turns out that the hardware buttons on top make up easily for the smaller screen. The remote works great for what I use it for and I would recommend it for anyone that is looking for a remote to replace their older Logitech.

Programing could be a challenge depending on the equipment you have but once it's set up the remote works exceptionally well. It comes with software that lets you make many configurations. If the component you have is not in their database you can train the remote off your old remotes. The IR beam scatters well enough that you don't have to point the remote directly at the components. The buttons are intuitive and the display is customizable which comes in handy for more frequently used activities / tasks rather than drilling down through a menu. The HELP feature is nice and does 'learn'. If something isn't working right frequently the HELP automatically steps you through a troubleshooting menu to fix any recurring issues. I like how it lights up the screen and buttons when you pick up or move the remote. Overall I'm pleased with the functioning and the comfort in the hand.

I was looking for a remote that could replace 4 other remotes (TV, Blu-Ray, Bose Solo, and Roku 3) to make TV watching easier for everyone in the family. First tried the Harmony 350, but it didn't let you create "Activities" like Watch Movie, or Watch Streaming. It controlled all the devices, but still took too much work. I tried the 650, and it is awesome! It imported my device settings, and let me create different "Activities" for each device, including ejecting the tray when I select Watch Blu-Ray. :) Easy to set up, and very programmable, I highly recommend the Harmony 650.

I had my doubts before I bought this, but afer using it for a few weeks, it won me over. The configuration software is very intuitive and had settings for all my devices. For the heck of it, I decided to add the electric fireplace that's in my living room. By using the existing fireplace remote to program the 650, I'm able to even control all the functions of my fireplace (on/off, temperature up/down, etc). Now I have one remote for everything! Great job Logitech!

I like the one touch capabilities and the fact that once it's programmed it works very well. However my issue is with the harmony website you can't just program it with simple codes but rather you have to register online and put in all of your devices so it can programmed via internet connection. Was a bit of a hassle but once I programmed it getting back into my account was impossible had to do it all over again. Harmony needs to improve their website severely!

This was a Christmas present to myself. I needed a remote control that would work on all of my equipment and the Geek Squad recommended this brand. Of course, I didn't realize at the time that there were multiple remotes made by Harmony. I chose one with great reviews and I'm happy with this purchase. Since I still have some problems communicating with my BluRay player, I took one star off of my rating. But it works much better than my old remote control.
