We overspent on a pricey X-7 remote that stopped working after a couple of years. Of the six input buttons, only four worked. So we checked around for a good substitute for a reasonable price and found this Harmony. We had liked our previous Harmony years ago, but this one is so much better. Everything about it works fluidly, intuitively, and just as you'd expect. I'd definitely use this one even if someone bought another X-7 for me.

The remote is very easy to use, the setup was easy as well.

Setup is simple and easy; able to setup multiple devices on one remote. With this remote I am now able to control all my devices and many more.

Super easy. If we mess it up, we just push the help button and it fixes itself. Once it was set up, which we had the technician do for us, it was so smooth. We love it so much that we bought a second one for a separate TV. I don't know how easy it would be for us to set it up so I might recommend having a technician do it. All the settings are saved on the internet account so we can't mess up the remote by pushing wrong buttons. Love it.

Using this remote instead of the four, I have been using. It is a good price and works great!

Overall an excellent product. If you take the time to get your Model numbers for everything you want to program first, them programming to unit is so easy. Remember video/audio inputs must be written down also. I like the fact that once programmed, hitting one button will turn on my TV, U-Verse and sound bar for TV review. Also, hitting one button will turn on my TV, sound bar and DVD Player to watch a movie. If a problem comes up, hit the "Help" button, follow the screens!

actually like the remote & it does a fine job on all the equipment. If it wasn't so pricy, I'd buy another for the bedroom although I don't need it, but switching from this remote to the one that comes with the satellite is a little frustrating with a couple of button used not being in the same location. I do like Logitech products, they stand behind them if a problem ever arises.

I've had this remote for a month now. So far I think it's excellent. You can set it up so it turns multiple things on at the same time, to a specific channel and change button functions. This model requires the remote to be pointed at whichever component you want to control, so something like a Roku stick, that uses Bluetooth to control it, won't work. Although, there is another model that will control both kinds of devices.

Works great. Easy to program. You need to keep the batteries fresh otherwise it becomes forgetfull.

Far better than the more expensive Harmony with its quirky touch screen. Full push button number keypad. Yay! Battery operated, no chargers.

I recently built a custom NUC and needed a remote to control my entire media center. I searched online and although unfortunately the rechargeable version of this remote is no longer in production, I ended up going for a brand new 650. Even though there is a bit of a setup process involved to get this remote up and running, once you're ready to go it is a dream! I wouldn't recommend any other solution that isn't a Harmony remote for your media center needs!

It does a decent job will all applications except the smart tv. This remote doesn't have many of the functions your smart tv remote has.

Remote is easy to use and can control all my equipment with one remote.

Have had 2 older remotes and liked them so much decided to ditch oldest one and get 2 new ones. Very easy to use and sync all your items. Love how they HELP when you press the button and it keeps asking if the problem is fixed. Would recommend these remotes to anyone. Made newer of the 2 older ones work in game room to turn on/off tv, either gaming console, that's nice! So they work for anything you tell them to do.

My husband had typed up a full page of instructions of what remote operated which electronic machine. I still couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV or play my music !!! I can actually turn on everything & even know how to turn on our exterior sound bar...ALL BY MYSELF !!! It is worth the money & thankfully, my husband knew how to set everything up. I would not have a clue how to do that either. If you have the same issues...go get this. It is so easy to operate.

I don’t like having to program the remote through Logitech’s desktop app. It’s UI was terrible when I was programming the devices I had. The experience on the newer hubs is far better. It is still probably easier than a standard universal remote though. I don’t like how long it takes to run the scenes as you cannot do anything with the remote till the scene is finished executing. Scenes will also mess up if any external remote is used to turn on or off a device. I don’t know why. I am just using the remote to pick the device and controls manually at this point. I still give it 3 stars since it’s better than having the hassle of multiple remotes and the price is lower than what I am comparing it to.

After we got our new TV, we learned our sound bar and DirectTV would not work with it. A gentleman at Best Buy recommended this harmony remote. We are pleased and glad we purchased it!

I've used an older Harmony remote before and I really liked it. My only complaint is if I wanted to switch between watching cable TV to watching a DVD the remote would think that the TV was not on and it would inadvertently turn off the TV. This remote doesn't do that. I can switch seamlessly from Direct TV to Apple TV and the remote will turn off the direct TV receiver, switch the mode on the stereo, and turn on Apple TV without a hitch. This is a tremendous improvement.

I have effectively reduced the number of remotes to one! I use Apple TV, my cable box, streaming services, regular tv, and Sonos. Before, if the phone rang while watching tv, I had to grab my phone, unlock it, lower the volume then answer the phone IF it was still ringing by then! Now, I can mute or lower the volume, pick a favorite channel or turn everything off with one remote. So worth it! I am getting another one for upstairs.
