Bought this for my family room tv. Have four devices and can now control all of them from the same controller. Had a little trouble with set up but was able to call the free help line and within 10 min the lady on the phone and I had everything set up. The woman on the help line was very nice and helpful. The controller has worked every function on every device that I need to use.

I really love this remote and the companion PC application to help with setup. I would say setup is medium to advanced with the user being able to really customize the remote setup. I have programmed our most watched networks with their corresponding logo which makes for a cool and user friendly look. Overall this remote meets all my needs and controls all of the million devices in our home.

My spouse can mess up a remote in a nano second. We have 2 different surround systems in the house. Each element had it's own remote. Not sure what buttons were hit....but it took hours to fix. We have more than one of these in the house, and have used them for years. Practically impossible to mess up. The Logitech Remote will turn everything on at once. Simple and easy to use....and has saved a marriage of over 40 years.

After getting it programed you can set it up to turn on several things at once or switch to them like to watch a DVD. it would switch and turn things on so all you'll have to do is put your movie in. Doesn't do to well if you need a smart remote for the TV. Other than that its way better than the replacement remote that your Dad would get.

Picked this up on a Deal of the Day special to replace 4 separate remotes. Programming was ridiculously easy (be sure to have your device model #'s handy and know which devices are connected to which inputs). The Harmony website walks you through the set-up and voila - one button push to watch TV, watch a movie, listen to music, etc... no more fumbling for remotes, turning on Blu-Ray players, and switching multiple inputs.

It has really nice remote with cool features, the setup requires time due to the uniqueness of the remote,it operates the Sony tv and Samsung sound system. Due to the no brand local cable provider there is no way for it to work because every brand has pin to sync, other than that no complaints

My Dad has had this remote for several years and I have hesitated to purchase one myself due to the price he paid. However, I finally broke down and bought one and the price had dropped significantly! Now that I have it at home and I am using it I would pay twice as much as the original price! I went from 4 remotes to just this one and I am very pleased and so is my wife!!!

This remote replaces my old Harmony One. This remote is so much better to operate. After having the geek squad program the remote with my new receiver, it works like a charm. Everything responds effortlessly. Another good feature is the fact that there is no recharging station. Double AA's provide the power. Very easy to operate.

Needed to control 4 components. Didn't want too complicated. Takes some getting used to. Remembering the buttons takes a bit. But after a bit really quite good.

the only complaint I have is that the link with directv is slow and it does not "scroll full screen" on guide for directv

I am very satisfied with this remote. One click turns on the devices and changes to TV and cable box, or TV and DVD, or TV and music. TV input automatically changed and buttons on remote automatically set to control appropriate device. One click turns everything off. Once it is set up everything is automatic. Setup is simple because you use your computer for setup. I purchased 2 more as Christmas presents.

Overall, this remote is a perfect 5/5 and actually is the second one I've purchased in less than one year. Logitech's team has built this remote to handle just about any device and having the LCD screen and backlight on the keys is perfect. Also, their software to load on your computer to program the keys is flawless. I highly recommend it and trust me you won't be disappointed!

My wife wanted a single remote to replace the individual remotes that came with each product. This remote is easy to program and basically works as expected though at times the expected functions do not turn on and off as expected. Nevertheless it provides a single remote to work my music and TV products.

Good product but need to program with the different functions especially if one do not want to watch TV via sound system

This remote saves a lot of time searching for the other 4 we have. All in one, well worth the $$$. Programs in minutes.

Overall good purchase. You have to stand directly in front of the TV about 3' away and stand still and hold the remote directly at the TV and not move it for several seconds. Once you get used to that, it is a good device. It's not so bad once you get used to that. Afterall, it is turning on 4 devices and the "Help" button does help.

Loved this remote so much that I purchased the exact same one after a rough-housing teen damaged the first one. Ridiculously easy to program for multiple devices especially the second time around. Just needed to sign in and answer a few questions. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Great for the electronically incompetent like me.

With a list of the equipment and model numbers that I needed to control in hand, the web site from Logitech made it so easy to program the functions to turn the right things on or off very quickly. The unit has easy to find buttons with a logical layout. This is a great entry level universal remote.

If you're comfortable with the ability to completely customize your remote, this is a great choice. Logitech's database seems to have all of my devices and let's you set up activities to control the sequence they use to start. I really like the ability to customize buttons, both screen and non-screen, by device. Highly recommended.

This one remote replaces several and makes switching from TV to movies easy.
