This remote is easy to use. Even children (and technologically challenged senior citizens) can follow the questions on the screen when they have screwed something up and need to fix it. The remote only handles around 5 components, so if you have some other things that need to be accessed from the remote, this is not for you.

So far this has been good but this is my second one (same style) because the first one had buttons that quit working and it wouldn't control all the devices so I was constantly having to manually turn devices on and off. But so far so good. Hopefully it lasts.

We have 2 of these and both work very well. It's so much more convenient than having 4 remotes laying around

This remote makes using all of your devices easier. I like the fact that it takes AA batteries. The battery life has been great so far. The button layout is good and the remote feels good in the hand. My only complaint is that Harmony remotes used to support more devices. My older Harmony supported 15 devices and I think this one only supports 5. I actually had to delete one device from my old Harmony remotes programming before I could program this remote with that code. I would have paid more money if THIS remote supported more devices. I know Logitech makes remotes that support more devices; however, they are jam packed with other features that I didn't want (and even dislike). Logitech please give us a basic remote (without touchscreen, device/phone integration, Li Ion rechargeable batteries, etc) that does the simple things well and supports more devices and we will pay for it. There is a market for it (your original market), so please return to your roots and give your loyal, longtime customers what they want. Overall a great product if it's device support limitations fits within your system constraints.

Works pretty good most of the time until it "forgets" to turn on certain things. Easy to remedy, just a hassle.

As far as universal remotes go, the Logitech Harmony line is the industry leader for consumer remote controls. I've owned quite a few of these and while some were better than others, this one I now have 2 of because of it's durability and price. It works, very well, but if you run into trouble and find yourself hitting the help button a lot you need to tweak the settings. Most people I know wouldn't want to go through something as complicated as that (it really isn't) which is why I dropped it to 4 stars instead of 5. I am fortunate enough to work in IT and be very comfortable using new hardware and software but even with my experience I had a slight issue getting everything controlled correctly. My XBOX has to be powered on after my receiver is fully powered up and ready or it will not detect a dolby digital signal and revert to PLII. Took a while to search forums to figure out what was going on and how to add a delay. Not something for the users that just want plug and play with a good wizard to walk them through complete setup. All in all, I think it's a great device but the software can be improved.

This remote is the easiest remote to program. Just look up your model on the TV, sat box and amp, answer some easy question and poof...it's programmed. Never had any remote this easy and if it fails it has a help button that will fix the program.(it very rarely fails). Got it at a great price on Black Thursday and I love it.

Logitech has improved their remote-programming routines over the years, and this model was easy to set up for a complicated AV system. The small display is back-lit and easy to read, and you can add several layers of detail to the simple on/off, volume and major control functions.

A remote that controls your everyday use. It controls my tv, soundbar, xbox, directv and even my fan! Easy programmable buttons but the only thing i dislike is that you need a computer with internet to set it up. With no computer and internet to set it up and program it, its useless.

Got the 650 to replace a worn-out Harmony One. Was very easy to load from my laptop, and works as well or better than the One. The best feature is the use of batteries instear of having to put it in a recharge cradle. Love this remote for my Cox contour dvr, LG 3D tv, and Bose soundbar.

If you need an all in one remote and you know how your equipment is wired then this is perfect for you. I own a couple of URC remotes and they are great but I am also an installer and know how to program them. I bought this for a smaller system in my bedroom and it has never failed me.

Previous device which I had for years developed a problem with a button that wasn't making contact. I was able to take it apart and use foil to repair. Problem recurred after about a year and I decided to purchase this unit with a gift card as a replacement. The ability to download remote program settings is extremely useful. This model more than meets my needs.

Setup for different devices and functions all done on the PC. Within 30 minutes it is working great. Not only does it operate your different devices but it allows you to program different events like "watch TV" or watch Netflix". Got a new TV last week and it was easy to plug remote to the PC, remove the old device and add the new one. I did have to reprogram the events but it was easy.

From a multiple hand held device user in the past - this universal remote has replaced all of them. Love the device - the help key is a lifesaver.
