This remote was a must buy for me because the original remote for my surround sound was discontinued. The remote is not that easy to set up, but once you do get it set up it will make your life easy. It ties all your remotes into one, and it has a easy help button that will typically fix your issues.

It's a great controller for all devices. Only issue is if you have two of the same TVs that use the same infrared remote it'll turn both on.

works great. upgraded from previous model and that all went smoothly. nocked 1 star because the setup program does not allow sequencing of activities on the screen. search the internet(g00gle) for this issue if you want more info. but this does not detract from the ease of use it provides.

this product was hard to set up when I called customer service it took awhile to get it set up

Programming is cumbersome since it’s software based but once you get everything setup, it’s so nice to have one remote for everything. I wish it didn’t power off everything when it switches functions by default but that may be configurable.

I bought this one to replace a different Logitek remote that the enter button stopped working.

Bought this for pops for Father's Day. He is technologically illiterate so the amount of remotes I had set for him on his entertainment center (that I had hooked up for him). After I paired this with the tv, cable, surround sound, and bluray I no longer get 11pm calls about how to work the remotes

I have had one of these for years and they work well, but after three of four years may need replacing. I tried my son's more expensive ones (two types) and they can be maddening in addition to being expensive. I may be old fashioned but one thing I like about this is that it's NOT rechargeable; I can lay it anywhere and it'll be okay.

The Geek Squad did an excellent job of programming this universal remote to coordinate with: Apple TV, DVD Player, IPOD, Receiver, CD Player and of course, Cable television. It's very easy to use and helps coach you with any questions that you might have. I have recommended this product to family and friends and even thinking of purchasing one for a Christmas gift exchange.

I'd give this an excellent rating except for the need to use the help feature too frequently.

Great remote, had the same one previously but accidentally broke it. Just had to buy another.

My mother and father have one of these and they work very well for all of their electronics.

It turns on everything that I programmed, but only turns off some of those items that it turns on. Each time I then have to go through the help until it figures out to turn off the remaining items, but then it can't remember that those items have to be turned off the next time, so I go through it again the next time I try to turn off everything.

This device is very useful for organizing and simplifying the controls for several devices that have to work together. I have, in two separate rooms, 2 smart TVs,2 soundbars, 2 ROKUs, a WD streaming player, and a DVD player plus I use a tablet to listen to music on the sound bar using Bluetooth. There is no commonality between any of these devices in manufacturer or model number. I also have a wife that cannot grasp the the interplay necessary using several remote controls to have all the devices in a room play together. This is is a problem particularly when changing from streaming to satellite to smart TV app, etc., as inputs need to be switched. But, with the Harmony 650 I easily programmed the remote to control all the devices in a room. And, I can dedicate a Harmony 650 to each room so that the controls in each room are virtually identical. Now the wife can watch Satellite TV,, MLB.TV, Netflix, recorded movies, etc. in either room without calling for me to make it happen. She (and I) can easily select the activity/source and all devices are properly configured. The units are very easy to program using a computer with on-line access.

I bought this as a gift for my partner and it was so easy to set up. You can input all your favorite channels and see them on the remote screen and just hop right to it. It also eliminated the need for several remotes as I put my blu ray, tv and cable remotes into one.

High quality remote. Easy to program. This remote will replace all the other remotes. Programming is easy with your computer and only takes a few minutes. My only complaint is that it misses a step from time to time. The help feature will correct it, just extra steps and sometimes frustrating.
