Works very well to control my TV, satellite box, receiver, blu ray player, and even my very old VCR. The sync software downloaded to my MAC works very well for programming the remote. Doesn't require that old, frustrating method of punching in different codes and hoping one works.

We bought this after our puppies decided to use the previous factory remote as a chew toy. This works great, and it has eliminated the 3-4 other units that were floating around the living room. The single touch function to transition from cable to gaming, to DVD, or whatever works great. Setup could be easier, but once complete works seamlessly.

My wife and I are not tech savvy and we figured out how to load our components into this universal remote and get it to work right! The instructions were fairly easy to follow. It is nice having one remote where a single button turns the TV, sound system and cable box on/off. Most of the functions are basic and the remote is simple to use.

Great product - Easy setup through simple computer front end. Drawbacks are use, once device to control is set then its difficult to find the function you need. However, this is also getting easier with use. For the price and capabilities I give this a 5 star. Very pleased and would buy again. No remorse here.

Good remote, but some buttons are awkwardly placed, but like having only one remote.

Harmony is a great remote. I have two of them. One I use for the living room and the other in our bedroom. I bought this on sale at Best Buy. I am not disappointed. I would recommend this to anyone that has 3 or remotes now. The set up is very easy. Just have to go to the Harmony web site and download the software. It takes about 30 minutes to set up.

This is a really nice remote however, it is hard to hold. This is a simple design flaw.

This is my second harmony and after having them I don't think I could live without one. The initial setup of the remote takes a little bit of time to get the remote configured for all your devices. But once everything is ready to go, it is pretty smooth to use it. This is my second Harmony 650 and this one seems to work better than my older one.

The remote was easy to program and customize to my preferences. Once programmed, it is very easy to modify activities or add devices. All changes are done on your PC after downloading the application. When your changes are complete, you sync the remote from your PC. Takes a minimum amount of time to program the remote!

The Wife was tired of needing to understand 4 remotes and what you needed to select to get each device on and working. Programmed the remote so she was able to get to the devices she wanted. Later helped my parents get this remote setup then showed them the easy online system for programming and now they have 3 of them.

By all means if you have the extra dough purchase the higher model logitech smart remotes, but for me this $50 remote does everything I need it to and is the best value. Only thing I wish it had but doesn't is smart home integration stuff like Philips Hue lights, but I can just do that with my phone app I guess.

I really wasn't sure how easy this would be since I had the geek squad hook up the TV, sound bar and DVD player, and I decided to purchase this remote much later. It was a snap. All you need is all the information on the TV, sound bar and DVD player, then just follow their directions. Don't give up if you need to set this up twice. It will work.

I actually took back the super expensive one with only a screen as I wanted buttons. Setting it up is super easy, and it's worked pretty well. The only negative is that the activities that I have set up don't always work. Not a huge deal for me though.

I enjoy my Harmony 650 because of the how easily it is to program and use. My wife, who is not technical, easily learn't it's operation and use. The only thing I wish was better is the corresponding functions that the device’s remote does isn't always apparent using the Harmony 650 remote. Trial and Error method. Some success but not all.

Purchased this due to the complexity of starting the dvd player vs using just the tv or radio. This product simplified this process by pressing one button for the functions I desired. Works as advertised and due to the setup being internet based my 1 and 1/2 year old child can not reset the remote by pressing all of the buttons, which is nice.

Bought one before when they were much more expensive and not newer ones available, it really is a bargain now. Don't really like the software much, but once you have it programmed the remote, you won't need it again unless you change your setup.

This remote was very easy to program and works even better than my last Harmony one.

Great remote, easy to program and use. Learning new things that it can do constantly.

Great universal remote for the price. Easy setup with computer. Just put in the model numbers of your devices and follow the simple directions to set up activity. Even easier if you are upgrading an old Logitech remote, it can automatically transfer over all your old settings.
